My husband and I had a great meal this past Saturday! We started with the roasted corn and chili con queso nachos. Sooo good! The queso was amazingly delicious! My husband went with a special- Jamaican jerk burger. He said the pineapple salsa was outstanding. I had the Bang Bang shrimp tacos which were delicious! The purple cabbage slaw was especially tasty. Our entrees came with house made chips which were just the right amount of salty and crunchy. Service was top notch as well. There is a definite feeling of teamwork amongst the staff which is so nice to experience as a customer. We will definitely return! read more

We really wanted to like this place after reading all of the positive reviews. Ambiance is good, really cute place. We got the chicken tenders as an appetizer - which should really be tenderized. They come as these logs of chicken meat fried in a flavorless coating. I mean at least the chicken wasn't stringy or fatty but they shouldn't look like turds... We then split the stone house burger which was disappointing. Beef was not that flavorful and as a whole the flavor profile just missed the mark. I really liked the location. Downside is that the stone walls are untreated, and I can't remember the last time I've had such a hard time hearing my part of the conversation. The echo is epic. My husband and I were visiting Royersford and I found this place on Yelp--the food looked amazing so we decided to check it out. We were not disappointed! We did not have a reservation (was ~6 pm on Friday night) but they were able to accommodate us. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, and the chef stopped by our table too to check in. We got the short rib nachos and the shrimp & grits (featured special) and it was all so delicious--we were pretty blown away. My husband joked "Is Gordon Ramsey back there?!?" Well to say the least food is mediocre at best nothing to write home to mom about. It's cold and unseasoned sides of Potatoes or "house fries." I had the burger an in all honesty it left me wanting more. Maybe a little char or flavor and less boiled beef patty and cheese. My guest were left unsatisfied as well but what was I expecting from after my first bite.... If I wasn't hungry then it would have been left on the table just like my appetite for stone house grille. Thankfully, I don't live near here so no need to write about a possible return. I believe their current reviews come from an older crowd of retirees in the area. The food isn't for the younger taste buds but I digress. However, it isn't all bad the decor is great and the service was quite exceptional. A terrific surprise we came across while day-tripping through the country. Dishes are beautifully presented. I recommend the polenta and chicken. Fresh vegetables, locally grown, I believe. Honestly this place has really good food. Their burgers are awsome and probably one of the best around. Actually I can't say anything negative about the food. the people that work there are so nice. the only negative is it's the same menu that never changes. Too many burgers. They have a fish and chips dish that is absolutely amazing. best I ever had. we were Even asked by one of the servers if they should put it on the menu. we both have mentioned a few times why they never even make it. one time we went and asked the waitress if they had it and she said yes but not till 5pm. it was 4:45? why could you not just satisfy the customer. all in all though very good food. just don't advertise in local magazine over a year ago that a new nenu was coming soon. it never has! read more

They offer indoor and outdoor eating. Beautiful decor and wonderful staff. It's been a while since I had great service and didn't immediately regret the the dinner due to to underwhelming food and customer service. This is said after going out to eat at a $$$$ restaurant. Straight Up Burger - $11 with Cheddar - For a thicker burger, this was very tasty. 3 for 3 so far on well made, fresh burgers. Fries - Bit of a thicker cut, salted well, good crisp. If you have had better fries in the area, I'd like to know where. Jambalaya - Bowl Size. If you like Jambalaya, try this one. The area isn't exactly a mecca for food so this place is a gem. The food could definitely hold up in some of the more densely populated and more popular towns. Don't expect your order to be ready in 15 minutes. 2nd time diner since name/owner change. We were monthly when it was MB's. Current experience? Food & service very good. We have enjoyed steaks, seafood and various apps. No desserts because that's not us. Price just a tad high for very good vs "excellent". Same for why 4 instead of 5 stars. But definitely on our list to return. read more

Everything was perfect, although I took away one star for the lack of parking. Three of us sat inside with plenty of space between other tables. The staff was wearing masks and gloves when delivering food. Menus were paper. We all ordered the same Pa-Bam burger and we spent a lot of the time congratulating ourselves on our fabulous selection. The hamburger was cooked perfectly and juicy. The Pa-Bam sauce was amazing... we even asked for extra to dip for the house-made chips and fries. This restaurant really is housed in a cozy stone house, and has a casual and laid back vibe. We were greeted warmly at our arrival, and seated right away. Place filled up quickly, so apparently many other people have already discovered this fantastic place to eat. We ordered jambalaya (excellent, and the biscuit served on the side was delicious). My husband had a very tasty and generously sized burger, with plenty of unique toppings (I can't recall the name of the burger but roasted red peppers were involved). I had blackened mahi mahi tacos, which were AMAZING. The home made chips Stone House serves on the side are addictive. Service was exceptional, and we were never neglected... rare in these times of labor shortages. Our cocktails were also quite good. We took home a 4 pack of beer as well, and we have been thoroughly enjoying at home. (They serve Hares Hill). So glad we gave this restaurant a try, and I have no doubt we'll be returning regularly. read more

Me and my husband have been here many times and are never disappointed! The fire on the mountain chicken sandwich and chorizo meatloaf are his absolute faves! I used to love their wings (before I changed to being pescatarian ) but their fish tacos are absolutely amazing! My fiancé and I have been coming to Stone House for a couple years now and love it. They have the best brunch in Phoenixville we've had so far, a killer meatloaf, and a great setting and staff. We visited this restaurant with our 3 year old son in the midst of worrying about indoor dining- and I am so glad we went. The owners and staff couldn't have been more courteous and attentive. They follow all guidelines- food and service was wonderful. You can tell how much they care about their customers and the quality of the experience at their restaurant. New owners for what used to be Kimberton Organic. New owners made a few changes for the better on the inside. They still kept a lot of the brunch favorites, but added some new idea's to the lunch portion of the menu. The burger was cooked as ordered and the side salad was fresh and chilled with a nice dressing. The Cubano type sandwich was ok, but a little on the dry side. Both dishes come with chips, but they do offer alternatives. Parking can be an issue at lunch as the "people" that live across from the grill are quite rude and the parking in front and back fills up quickly. They take Visa and MC, no AmEx and it's still BYOB. Nice people and they seem to really want to make sure you're happy with their food. read more
