Was craving Korean fried chicken and a friend had recommended this place. We were able to get in right away on a Thursday night. The place has about 12-15 tables. The 2 seater tables can be small to house all the banchan and multiple dishes so ask for a bigger table if you like to order a lot. Pricing is on the high end for the size of the portions. Our favorite was the pork tofu soup. Our bill was about $80 (including tip) for 2 people with only 3 dishes. The service was good. My friend decided to treat ourselves to dinner after our workout. She got the Kalbi, which I also wanted to try, but went for the Spicy Sautéed Squid. We both really enjoyed our food. The flavor of the squid dish was better than other places I've tried. And I tried a piece of my friend's beef short ribs, and it was tasty. Comfort Korean food, convenient to eat Korean food without the commitment of having to do BBQ, it's the same thing having it comes out already cooked for you on a stone plate honestly, lol. Pretty much all the entrees come with side dishes and a bowl of rice to eat it with. For 2 people, any of the combos is a nice variety and should fill you up. We got the kalbi + hot bibimbap combo, oh my goodness, the rice got super crispy in the hot stone bowl. This specific combo didn't come with rice since there's already rice in the bibimbap, but we did order the tofu soup and it comes with rice which was plenty of food. I love Korean soft tofu soup, it's so umami. This was the premeal before heading to Chichi since we didn't know if they were going to serve food there. We were stuffed and good thing we ate here prior. I've been to their Redmond location, glad to have a closer location in Bellevue and since it's new, interior is a lot more updated. Stone Korean is my favorite soondooboo restaurant in the Seattle area and I was so happy to learn that they opened a new location in Bellevue! Now I no longer need to drive all the way to Redmond or Seattle for my soondooboo fix. Their flavors are the best compared to other soondooboo spots around here. They also have some pretty good banchan, which some other places are lacking. We also tried a seafood pancake when I came and it was really good! It was nearly full but we didn't have to wait. The service was prompt, attentive and friendly. The food was hot and hot - both temperature and spice level. Perfect! Came in here on an early Saturday dinner. The restaurant is much smaller than the old Redmond counterpart. Surprisingly it never got busy even when we left at 7; maybe not too many people know about it yet. We ordered: Seafood pancake - delicious Bulgogi - felt the meat was a bit too minced up and the onions were overcooked Sautéed squid - my favorite dish of the night. Fried chicken - delicious The kimchi in the banchan was good too. There were 2-3 servers who waited the whole restaurant. Had to flag them down a few times for more banchan and the bill, but that may have been due to where we were sitting. Place was convenient with plenty of parking by Walmart. Hubby and I came for lunch today and was a little disappointed in the soft tofu soup and side dishes. The price point is amazing for the amount of food you get and the quality is high. The server was super friendly and quick to refill side dishes. Had this restaurant on my list for a while but just never had the chance to check it out. I knew about the Redmond location but that one closed and it seemed like they opened the bellevue location shortly after. I had a great experience. We got a variety of dishes for just me and my wife and it was definitely enough. The food was great as a whole and the banchan was plentiful. One critique I have is that the special spicy fried chicken wasn't that spicy, it was more sweet. It was still good though it just didn't taste as spicy as it actually looked. I am so happy they opened a location here in Bellevue. Like the other branches, the food here is amazing and always full of flavor. My favorite thing to get here is the chik naengmyeon and the seafood soondubu. I also appreciate their combo sets for those who want to try multiple menu items! One of our fave korean restaurants on the eastside has made it's way to Bellevue. We went for soft opening on a Wednesday around 5:00 pm. Word must have already gotten out as the place was half full at the time we entered and filled up as we were finishing up. The Stone Korean in Redmond is one of our faves because they do a really good soondubu. Flavorful, hot, full of goodies, and not watery like others we've had. They do a good galbi, kimchi pancake, and a solid korean fried chicken. They just do a lot of really good/solid items and they don't skimp on the banchan. Everything is usually really tasty and the service in Bellevue is good. As much as we love Stone, it can be a bit pricey. Portions aren't small but prices are on the higher end and while inflation has made eating out more expensive, I just want to point that out too. Happy to have them in Bellevue! read more

This place was OK for our first time. Food: We ordered fried chicken wings and Kimchi Jigae. The crisp was nice on the chicken wings, but you can tell it was old oil. And it's unflavored. I'm really glad I don't have to drive to Seattle or Redmond now! I really love Stone Korean restaurant and happy that they opened this in Bellevue. It's near the Walmart so parking can be kind of tricky if it's busy.. but it's better than having to find street parking. Inside is busy and you know it's a good sign when the restaurant is full of other Koreans. The food is all consistently good... I love the cold noodles, stone pot bibimbap, and spicy pork bulgogi. I only knocked off a star because we cunfortunately had a waitress who kept coughing without covering her mouth while just standing near our table alot. She was nice but the coughing thing was gross. Other than the service issue, the food is really good and location is better than having to go to Seattle. I would like to come back to eat here so hopefully the waitress isn't sick anymore or learns to cover her mouth when coughing around customers. The food outweighs the service though so I would still eat here but just order takeout! read more

It's middle of January, and it's a cold and rainy day. The last thing you'd want in a restaurant is cold inside. Can't you see customers are wearing their winter jacket while eating? It's even cold in the restroom, is there heating anywhere? Some dishes are still ok (Kalbi and seafood pancake), others have gone downhill. Tonkatsu is so dry that it tastes like cardboard.
