The best seafood pancake in town. Super crispy, loaded with seafood & veg and the sauce, while not plentiful (you can always ask for more), was perfect. Everything else is standard Korean, the banchan fresh and perfectly sized (you can always ask for more!). The tofu soups are flavorful and full of tofu, meat and veg. I took an order of fried chicken to go, half sauced, half plain, and it was carefully packed and super crunchy when I got home. Yes, it IS different than 'regular' fried chicken, it's practice whole chicken in finger sized pieces, and is worth the price. The service is always super friendly and attentive. The food is excellent and well priced but not a lot of choices if you are gluten free. They served me something they said was gluten free and I had a horrible reaction so I know they are not careful . However , if you don't have gluten issues , it's super fun here, a very hip vibe and you get a wonderful variety of food that is all amazingly tasty . They would get five star from me if I didn't have gluten sensitivity's but since I do, and they served me some thing they said was gluten-free and I had a BAD reaction, I had to mark them two stars down . Best customer service. I tried order on Urber eats got the address wrong. Long story but urber eats charged restaurant. I did cancelled when I realize it was wrong address. Within 2 minutes. Hmmmm... OK Korean food, good for when you want to eat Korean food but don't want to make it at home. Portions are generous for sure but I wasn't wowed by the flavors. The sweet and spicy fried chicken could have been spicier and I was distracted by the flavor of cinnamon (?) which I feel like didn't really belong there but I appreciated the lack of bones. The spicy pork tasted good but needed a bit more umph. The soft tofu soup was also OK but a little lacking in flavor. My husband enjoyed the bibimbap with beef. The seafood pancake was just too much, it's HUGE and thick, I would have liked it smaller and thinner and crispier and served with just soy sauce. Even the little dishes were kind of meh. The food was homey but lacked nuance and sophistication. It just didn't hit the spot for me but I think the general population would like it. First time trying Korean food (other than snacks) and I'm so glad I went here! Delicious food, hot, and still sizzling/boiling when brought to the table. I had the combo soft tofu soup and it had a lovely mix of shrimp, clams, and beef. I got it white (no spice) which often means no flavor, but not here! It was so flavorful, creamy from the tofu, and savory, a perfect dinner dish. The side dishes were also perfect. They made a good foil to the richness of the soup by being sweet or acidic with spice. 100% will be back! read more

Since King County started discriminating purebloods, we decided to take our money to Snohomish and had a weekend dinner at Stone. It is a modern Korean place. It is clean and the service is prompt. I've visited once or twice their Redmond location a couple of years ago and remember the food was quite decent. This time and at this Bothell location it was decent again. Note this is not a small, family-owned place with oriental Korean specialties but rather an Americanized, urban restaurant. We had grilled mackerel and spicy pork bulgogi. Pork was pretty good but not the best I've had - the best ever is at Seoul Hot Pot in Redmond - I recommend sending spies there and copying their recipe. The sides were great - that's always a highlight in Korean places. Service and cleanness was good, so solid four stars from me. read more

Got there at 8:16 and the cutoff for dine-in was at 8:15. Fair enough, I don't argue with people who serve me food and I went somewhere else. However, I would appreciate it if this was noted somewhere since it seemed a bit arbitrary. But I get that it's a pain to serve one customer near the end of the day in an empty restaurant. read more

One of my favorite K restaurant. I love their Hotpot Bibimbap. My husband and my kids like their fried chicken. We've been going to Stone Korean ever since they only had 1 store (on highway 99) long time ago. Then they opened in Redmond, Seattle and now Bothell, which is the closest from where we live. Very happy about it! The restaurant also has an outdoor area. And the service is pretty quick and attentive. One time I came and there were only 2 servers on a very busy night. This was probably the worse Korean food we have ever eaten. First off, how can a Korean place not make good Banchan? The only one that was okay was the cucumber. The bean sprouts had no flavor, the cabbage was too sweet and needed more salt, the broccoli was flavorless, the potato was light on flavor too and the daikon was tasteless. The grilled flounder were small in size and very dry. This was for sure the worst grilled flounder we have ever had. We usually order grilled flounder because it is one of our favorites. The Fried chicken, Seafood pancake, Jab-Chae and Gyozas tasted mediocre. Nothing was delicious and amazing. It is unfortunate because we were really looking forward to having a Good Korean restaurant within minutes from home. We will just have to go further up north as we usually do. Perhaps we are picky having been spoiled with years of eating amazing Korean food made by in-laws who are Korean and owned excellent restaurants as well. read more

Similar to a few others, I thought the food was fine but was surprised at the prices. I ordered one spicy pork dish and a water. With a tip it was ~$42. I used to get the same dish for $12 from a food truck. Just wild. Nice people and server but I won't go back due to price. read more

I just found myself a new lunch place. Good food. A bit pricey for lunch. Wish they have more affordable lunch options for one person, though the spicy pork bulgogi (dinner portion) was just awesome and was big enough to feed two. I will have to come back to try out the other dishes. read more

Went in for lunch with a group . The waiter was sniffing, hacking and sneezing. I asked him if he was sick and he said yes. I asked if he thought he should be serving food and the reply was " what? Warning! This is geared more towards college kids or something! Music was loud and super annoying, or we were just unfortunate to maybe be under the only speaker in the place. Was excited to finally get to try this place. My other half and I ordered. Food was ok. He asked about how the portions are for family style. He wanted chicken and I wanted a traditional dish. But since first time we wanted to try eachothers as well. The chicken was placed in front of me, trying not to view it as racist. As other half is Asian and I am not enough Asian to look it. In asking about us doing family style since one of the dishes didn't come with rice, would have been cool to ask us if we wanted a 2nd bowl, since we forgot to ask up front. Our drinks needed refill for ages was hoping to ask for 2nd rice at refill. Server felt like was intentional ignore our table. When she finally did come we asked about another rice. Very long wait later she brought us our check instead of rice. I was about to ask for a box because I like my bulgogi with rice and I let him have the first bowl.. he then asked about the rice, which she then brought right away. Not a good first impression. Service was awful. Won't be going again. Like said before food was ok, but not worth the prices they are charging. Honestly I have had better bulgogi for half the cost. I don't have a lot of experience with Korean food, but Stone now has me hooked! I had the beef hot pot bi bim bap, which has tons of veggies and beef, and the rice gets all crispy and delicious in the hot stone pot. My husband had the combo with soft tofu soup and chicken bulgogi, both of which were delicious. The staff is great and even brought me complimentary rice because my dish took longer than they liked and they didn't want me to just sit there while my husband enjoyed his dinner. It was like a 2 ninute delay,, but I appreciated their thoughtfulness.. The best part, though, was all the amazing ban chan (side dishes).
