In fact the chicken dish my husband had was so over cooked it was like leather. I've been going to Stonebridge for years and I still am not sure how I feel about it. I've never actually eaten there, but I have seen bands, had drinks, gotten hit on, danced....all the norm things. The problem with Stonebridge and me is that I always seem to end up there towards the latter part of my night when Archies and SBC has already seduced me with their drinks and no cover. Walking up to Stonebridge and having someone demand cover is a total let down. I mean, it's Milford. And this bar isn't even really on the water (that stream/pond totally does NOT count). Service has always been mediocre and the crowd always seems to contain the same meathead guys that think their pick up lines are SO cool. I may look and dress like a bimbo....but unless you can talk Dante with me, I'm really not interested. I do have to admit they make a kick ass mojito. Okay, so I just reread what I wrote...and I guess I am not a fan. One star for the last band I saw there(SO much fun) and one star for the mojitos! read more

Food would get 4.5 stars and service would get 2.5 or 3 stars. It's a packed mess in the parking lot. They do have a guy who directs you where to park since they are at capacity constantly. The service was friendly but after we got our drinks we didnt see our server again for 30-40 minutes to put our food order in. The chicken and waffles was really well done, crispy and moist chicken tenders over a Belgian waffle with real butter balls. The eggs Benedict was also good, hollandaise sauce was on point and ham was grilled, their hashbrowns are crispy. The clam platter was served in a metal tray with a ton of generously sized clam strips and fries. The seats are packed into the dining area we were seated in which made it a puzzle to get up and out if you need to visit the bathroom. Went there today for lunch with my sister with the hopes of having an early corned beef and cabbage meal. Was really looking forward to it, but it turned out to be very disappointing for sure! The cabbage was bland at best, the corned beef actually looked terrible. It was mostly well done too. This was my second time at this restaurant and it will be the last as well. Not at all impressed! Always love this place. Their menu offers an array of delicious choices however my go-to remains the blackened scallops salad with white balsamic. I was promptly seated and as always waitstaff were cordial and attentive. Because of COVID many precautions in place however a suggestion: the plastic flatware for salad just isn't sufficient unless the salad is significantly pre-chopped. read more

Selected this restaurant as it looked interesting when we drove by and then checked reviews and made a reservation. We arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation and were greeted and seated immediately . It was then that is started going downhill. Seated, given water and bread along with menus and waited and waited and waited as servers passed our table never once acknowledging us. We watch patrons seated after us receive beverages, appetizers and even meals and still no server. After some time had passed I got up and asked one of the servers if there was a manager present and if so could I please speak to them.... To which the server very rudely answered "yes and what's the problem". I informed the server that we had been sitting there for over 15 minutes and no one had acknowledged us, that others had been seated after us and already had drinks, etc. The server said he was really sorry and he'd get someone. A few minutes later a "manager" showed up, apologized and said a server would be right with us and right behind her was the rude server who then be came our server. Okay, if this was his table why did he get all up in my face with attitude instead of just apologizing and taking our order. Server offered us a drink on him( we don't drink)General Manager came to our table and apologized and offered to comp us dessert. Service was spotty although the food was wonderful. Once we were done with our meal we sat for over 20 minutes waiting to be given a bill and then had to ask for one. I understand it was a holiday and the place was busy but at least acknowledge your patrons and let them know you will be right with them. I'm on vacation with our family and wanted to get some seafood. Glad we came here. We ordered a bunch in our group so I can tell you about a few dishes. Started with fried calamari for the table. Cooked perfectly and not chewy at all. We also tried a few oysters. They were fresh and tasty. Then my wife and I split a cup of lobster bisque. Excellent to say the least. My wife had a seafood risotto for dinner. Also very good. It had lobster, shrimp and scallops in it. I had the lazy man lobster. No complaints from me. My friend ordered the lobster roll and he devoured it. Service was excellent and fast. Only knock it was bit pricey but market for lobster is high right now and I get it. My niece recommended this place for the group after an exhausting family event. We were among the last to arrive at 30. After looking at the closeness of the seating of the group I opted to have us seated down below by the pond. The waitress promptly seated us by the rail. Best decision I made for the day! The young lady that attended to us was also the bartender and from underneath the other tent she quickly made us drinks, brought out food out, and took excellent care of us. We had the plate of calamari for the appetizer- which was cooked to the perfect golden brown. My girl had the large order of the lobster roll with sweet potato fries. Off course the roll would be a winner. I opted for the grilled cheese with some lobster meat. I must say it rocked! I wouldn't have thought of that combination- but it worked well! The truffle fries seemed a little oily- but I enjoyed them as well. After lunch, a second round of drinks- I paid the bill- left a very nice tip for a great job and went up to the covered area. ...seems they hadn't even received their appetizers yet. I enjoyed the scenery! Enjoyed watching the ducks frolic in the water, watched the turtles in the pond and enjoyed my drinks and food. Way to go! I'll drive the hour back again! read more

Solid spot for food and drinks! Sat outside for lunch on a Saturday and was able to get in with no reservations, although the restaurant was busy! Loved the outdoor area and the full bar with seating outside. The food was good! Nachos were my favorite - they were extra cheesy and perfectly layered. I also had a Caesar salad with a crab cake (not on the menu but they were happy to accommodate the request). The Caesar salad was delish. Came here on Father's Day with the fam and the outdoor setting was so perfect, love the fountain. The Father's Day specials were all above $25 but honestly I didn't mind because the food was great! Service was great too. I enjoyed my fish meal so well, halibut I believe, my sister got the lobster bomb which was a ton of money but she loved it and it did have a lot of lobster. My dad got the full bellied clams which he enjoyed while my mom got a lobster roll, the boyfriend got chicken franchise which he enjoyed too. First time being here and was the best time, the bartender made us drinks which were so amazing while doing that took our order fast all the food was great compliments to the chef who made an amazing mango salmon with rice! To die for. They are open pretty late even during this COVID but I'd recommend you make reservations on the app saves trouble and time. Our server Nicki and everyone who assisted her through the night were welcoming and attentive. The tables were well spaced for the four of us and restaurant was very clean inside and out. Staff could be seen sanitizing and inside was less than 50% capacity. Now for the food: Dessert first KEY LIME PIE was very light and fluffy -- could have been a tad more 'limey' Delicious APPS-- nachos with chicken and fried oysters for the table were very good. As for the ENTREES-- Pot pies were very tasty (no crust on the bottom which would have finished it perfectly) Yummy Paella was loaded with seafood and the artichoke added a surprise dimension of flavor. I've been coming here for 2 years for the outdoor dining and good food. Our experience last night was different. no host outside and no signs to show where to find a host. Our waiter was constantly missing. Took forever to get drinks and food...accept when we got our entrees when we were eating our appetizers. Drinks we're mostly ice. This is the perfect summer spot. We have been dozens of times, for dinner, drinks, nightlife etc. It is a super fun place to come dancing in the summer while also being quite and a great place to have lunch. The location is great, right downtown (but parking can be tough) and overlooking the water. Dinner can get expensive because the food is good, just not great. I've been for big parties, they have greet hospitality and service but again, you're parking for the location. Produce is fresh, drinks are consistent. Overall would definitely recommend. read more

This review is solely for the music the DJ was playing. And yes .. after deep contemplation it does deserve a 1 star. This is some of the worst music I have ever had the displeasure of hearing. I felt like I was at my eighth grade dance. Why are we listening to songs that are 10 to 15 years old?! Truly insane when we have such talented artists in the year 2021! As part of this review I feel the need to comment on the food. The food is great, definitely high-quality- but definitely overpriced I think the menu items should be at least 2 to 4 dollars cheaper-but it is what it is. At least the food is good, sadly the MUSIC is so DATED it has ruined my appetite for the foreseeable future. :( read more

Had dinner there last night, service was great, my dinner was amazing. Had the best Salmon pan seared with Mango salsa and coconut rice. I didn't leave a grain of rice it was that good. We had a wonderful night out with friends. The food was delicious. Our table had rave reviews for the Seafood Pot Pie and the Lobster Bomb on the Special Menu. I had a beautiful salad scallop. Tuna tartare was frozen and made us both nauseous, salmon had a weird taste to it and the lobster was just appealing at all. The fries and bread were the only two good items. Came here with our family who are regulars. This place is huge with lots of outdoor and indoor seating. The menu, however small but this is really a matter of quality vs quantity. I had a salad with scallops, my hubs had the lobster roll, all were terrific. The kids menu was thorough, my guys liked the burger and chicken fingers. This place apparently gets pretty lit in the summer with live bands, dancing, and even and vip area. My heat lives in New England, so places like this are wonderful to me.
