I ordered from the Rancho Cucamonga store on Foothill thru Door Dash. We called stonefire upon confirmation of the order to make sure there would be no dairy on my order (no butter). We were disconnected. We called back and asked again... but were once again disconnected. We were willing to overlook the phone call.... but then when we got the food.... the Tri-Tip was a little discolored (pink and blueish tinge - hope it wasn't bad) and the lemon pepper chicken was the most flavorLESS chicken I've ever had, no taste of lemon or pepper. The beans were good (only reason for higher than 1 star). And the pizza was literally soggy. Def won't be ordering from StoneFire again. Overall bad experience. read more

I ordered the cob salad and I was very specific about what I wanted and didn't want in it. Nothing was tossed into the salad and they forgot my tri tip. I got a shareable salad and when they gave me the tri tip, it came in a ranch container and I was told that was supposed to be enough for my whole salad. The salad came out crisp, with crunchy croutons and just the perfect amount of garlicky goodnessy caesar dressing. Salmon came out plated on its own as picture on a delicious lemon garlic oil on the plate. Just looking at the salmon I knew it wouldn't be over cooked and when I bit into it, I was overwhelmed with delicious flavor. Stopped by for lunch and was absolutely impressed. This was my first time here and I'm glad to say it won't be the last. Met up with some coworkers and browsed the menu ahead of time. Tomesto and rare tri tip for the win. Sometimes the tomesto lacks enough sauce though, but other times it just falls below the noodles and you just need to mix it up a bit. I seriously love this place; my wife and I go here frequently. Lemon garlic chicken tastes great but almost too slimy. Breadsticks are pretty standard, but their marinara dipping sauce is fresh made every time and makes them superb. Garlic mashed potatoes have a great taste but not a fan of the consistency - they feel almost dried out or something. Also love the mesquite BBQ flavoring on both the chicken and tri tip, but I like the Gorgonzola on the tri tip personally. We all ordered the petite TriTip and my wifes order was wrong but they quickly fixed her order and then all 3 of our orders were as we expected. Rare for my brother, well done for my wife and medium for me and this petite was enough for our lunch. This place would have gotten 5 stars but my wifes order was wrong and the Cesear salad had too much dressing and it was very limp salad. They greeted us when we arrived and said goodbye as we were walking out the door. Everyone was very polite an courteous. Since it was our first time there the girl who took our order took her time in explaining the items on the menu and gave us some recommendations. We ordered the Tri-Tip for Two $19.99. It comes with The tri-tip, a salad, a side and some breadsticks. We chose the side of mashed potatoes and also ordered a small side of mac and cheese. I would definitely define their servings as family style. They have very large portions and my boyfriend and I could have easily shared our meal with about two other people. When they recommended it, i was skeptical. She said if i did not like it, she would refund the price for me, but asked me to be honest. Well, i did not ask for a refund cause it was really good. The pizza was excellent. The salad was great (and alot of it). The tri-tip was very good. We got 1/2 mesquite and 1/2 garlicky. The price was unbeatable. I usually only post when it's really really good and when it's really really bad. StoneFire was a horrible experience. We came to pick up our order and it was not ready. That set up our party back a couple of hours which ruined what we had planned. I was not even acknowledged when I arrived and was standing at the online pickup for 15 mins until I reached out for help. I gave them my name for the order and it still was another 20 mins which was unbelievable. What kind of establishment is this? When we finally got the food it was cold as well. Waiting for the food to be picked up and the food was still cold? That tells me that the food was ready to be picked up for quite some time. This place was incompetent and truthfully uncaring at all. There was a line of frustrated people behind me as well. Lady next to me was waiting for 1 hour... I mean..c'mon..really? I'd like to hear a response from the manager on what the problems were and why our order took forever. I doubt I'll come back personally. I know it's just me as 1 customer but for those who go here, please be aware and prepare to wait a long time apparently for an online order that was placed a week ahead of time. read more

I've been to the one in Pasadena probably 975 times. The food there is always on point! Now that I live here this is our go to location. I feel like it's always hit or miss here. I came once and they charged me more than once. Came another time and they didn't have mashed potatoes at like 6pm. What? Came another time and Mac and cheese was blah. Well came again last night with my family and Mac and cheese was blah again. There was literally no cheese. It came a little late to the table so my guess is they rushed it. It was literally a huge bowl of noodles. Flagged down someone I presume to be the manager and she basically just added more cheese. It was better I guess but when you go out to dinner you probably like to eat all your food together. I am very disappointed with these guys. There was only one person at the front desk taking orders so the line was out the door. The manager was nowhere to be seen. A second person finally came to the front and opened another register and things finally started moving. We ordered and found a table without any problem. My wife and I ordered the BBQ beef sandwich. I also ordered the potato chips. When the food arrived in a timely manor I was again disappointed in the quality of the sandwiches we paid $8.99. Both sandwiches had a minimum of meat with very little BBQ sauce. My order, which included the chips for an additional $.99, had very few chips and all but 3 of them came in small pieces. I took a picture of the chips minus the three bigger ones. Overall, I don't think the meal was worth what I paid for it and the wait to order the sub par food was ridicules. We stopped by this place after an exhaustive yelp search for something unique in this area. Located in the Target parking lot, you we found this place easy to find from the street. Our order took us on a whole tour of their menu- mac and cheese, tri tip and ribs, garlic bread, bbq chicken pizza, garlic mash and chilequiles. One thing I loved was that you could order custom sizes, so you could enjoy a little bit of everything. My stand out favorites were the tri-tip, bread sticks, and the garlic mash potatoes. The other items were good, but lacked that extra punch of flavor to make them stand out in the crowd. I love how this place effortlessly blends a fine dining atmosphere with fast casual service. Besides ordering up front, and retrieving your own drinks and silverware, you'd have never known. Honestly I like the ability to get my own stuff drinks. It takes out the frustration of an absent waiter and the pressure to leave ever growing standard % tips. Overall I was very impressed with this place. The biggest turn off about the restaurant is the configuration. This is a LARGE space that has 50+ tables. You order and pay for your food at the front register. The menu is fairly large and overwhelming for the first time, and you feel rushed deciding what to chose while in line. There were about 4 people in front of me to order and it took a while. There were about 4-5 cashiers working at this time. I disliked the obligation to tip. I don't feel you should have a tip line at a "fast food" type of place. You get your own drink, utensils, sauce etc. The ribs weren't very good. Super fatty and somewhat dry. The tri-tip was great! I wish I would've gotten a full portion of this. It looks like it would have spectacular taste with their platings but big NOPE. A "meal" consists of a protein and ONE side dish which is a salad OR a starch side. They also don't have any type of traditional vegetable dish with roasted meats. No green beans or any other type of veggie. Really weird. The bread sticks look great too but have zero flavor.
