This was our first visit to Stonefire Grill, and it turned out to be a delightful experience and I like the atmosphere, You order at the counter when you walk in, employees were where helpful ,then they give you a vibrating pager so you can grab a seat while your food is prepared. We ordered a $13.99 personal meal. My wife had the mac & cheese with a salad, and I had the combo pizza with a Caesar salad. We added two drinks for $1.99 each and shared a nutty coleslaw. I was surprised at how large the "personal size" mac & cheese was -- it was very generous. We ended up sharing the pizza, mac & cheese, and coleslaw and still had plenty of food. The meal also came with two personal-size carrot cakes, which we took home for the next day. Even sharing just one was more than enough. Everything was delicious, but the carrot cake really stood out. Super moist, full of carrots and chunks of pineapple, and topped with an amazing cream cheese frosting. The menu says it's made from scratch, and it definitely tasted homemade. Definitely recommend! **After reading some of the 3 and 1 reviews, I'm hoping to have an equally positive experience on my next visit.

The Stimulus Package family meal is an unbeatable best deal in town $43.99 that includes: Tri tips or chicken, garden salad, pizza with 2 toppings, and breadsticks. This special deal from the pandemic days is not on the menu and they happily provide. We get this all the time. The service is always prompt and courteous, and the location is spacious and clean. We had a holiday party where we took over a few tables and they were good to help making it happen. Important tip: join or rejoin their loyalty program. The old card based system was messy, and the new phone number based system is easy and highly recommended! You accumulate points quickly, today, I got a $10 off, sweet!

I used to only visit for their lunch special which was around 13 more or less. A choice of pasta, 2 bread sticks and a side. Isn't bad but kitchen staff occasionally has a nasty habit of cutting your portions where I had to send items back for a redo. One of their waiters who brought out my order even admits it seemed a little light as he brought it back to kitchen. It became a regular thing that portions aren't consistent every other visit and very tiring. Folks are friendly enough and never had an issue there, but portions was always a hassle to constantly be disappointed in. I took a few photos to prove my point. Sometimes it arrives as it should and other times it falls flat. Very greasy too at the bottom of bowl. I ordered the extra chicken on top of pasta and thought it would've came grilled. I asked the staff I don't want anything burnt on the chicken and they all looked at me completely blank. Was confused why they all hesitated to respond and one replied, "Don't worry about it. It won't come burnt." Well, he's right because it came as precooked cold dices like the ones from the grocery store! Check out the photos for yourself and avoid paying for this scam. Added another pic of the grilled chicken which is their most expensive lunch special. 14 or 15 usd and the portion was ridiculous. Please check for yourself and maybe lunch specials aren't their specialty.

3.75* Went here for dinner while visiting family out in the South Bay. This was given as an option along with 2 other favorites from childhood. Decided to go here because I've never been and wasn't familiar. This place is very interesting and unique to some degree. It gives very much a family atmosphere, come in, sit down, and enjoy your meal. While also giving off fast casual, eat your meal and be on your way type vibes. So, that threw me off a bit. You come in look at the menu, order your food, take your number, and find a seat. Again, the atmosphere is fighting itself. I suggest that you look at the menu online prior to going. Once you're there, standing in line, and other people around you waiting for you to order, and they know what they want, but you don't is pressure. So, you let them go ahead but it's your first time so you're still overwhelmed but you also don't want to just let everyone else go ahead. So, it was decided to order a family style dinner. We decided on the salad, tri-tip, mashed potatoes, pesto pasta, and bread sticks. I also ordered a rack of baby back ribs because I was in the mood for those. Overall, it was a nice meal. Everything tasted good. My personal least favorite item was the mashed potatoes. They were fine, but I bit on the dry side. Maybe reheated for service. My favorite item was the pear, arugula, and Gorgonzola cheese salad. The proteins were good. I'm not a pasta fan but the pasta people at the table were satisfied with it. Overall, knowing what I know now I'd definitely go back and try some different items. Not a bad experience, but a learning experience.

Ate here for Mother's Day with my family. We ordered our food, then went to go get drinks, and I saw both ice machines were covered in mold, visible mold all the way to the end of the plastic. This shows that they do not ever clean their ice machines. We made a complaint to the front desk and swapped out our plastic cups for water bottles. They did nothing even let about 25 people still get ice and drink mold and bacteria. I got up to take these pictures and videos and then manager approached me asking what was wrong and I told him this is unacceptable and it would make somebody really fucking sick. Now they're all attempting to wipe it clean when the whole thing needs replaced. EAT AT HOME it's the safest.

Walked in and had a nice young lady to take my order. At this restaurant you order first and pay. Then you get your drinks, silverware, and sit down. For lunch, I had a BBQ chicken sandwich with roasted vegetables. You get to pick one side with the sandwich. I then walked to the back to get my drink, which was a Diet Coke. I got silverware, napkins and sat down at a nice booth. The ambience of the restaurant is really nice. It's a large restaurant and plenty of space to get a table or booth. The food came out very quickly, and I was amazed with the presentation sandwich and how it tastes. It was delicious. The employees were all very friendly. I would recommend Stonefire Grill Torrance

Though I probably only pop in once or twice a year, I do enjoy Stonefire Grill. For this Torrance location, I would sometimes come here with the family and order the big meals. I used to visit the Lakewood location a little more frequently when the Roasted Cauliflower Pita was still on the menu. It was my favorite thing to order! Sadly, it was removed and my vegan options were reduced. That said, there are still some solid vegan options marked on the menu (hello Cartwheel Salad!) and vegetarian options that can easily be veganized. One of my favorite things to get here is the Superfood Fiesta Bowl. it's a chopped salad with quinoa, kale, black beans, roasted chickpeas, red cabbage, roasted corn, red onion, tomato, cilantro, and topped with guacamole. It also comes with tortilla chips. Usually it comes with and sriracha ranch but I like to swap it out for chili lime vinaigrette. The personal size is fills me up with a little bit for a snack-sized leftovers. Carry out down to a science. We ordered the two whole tri tip combo which included breadsticks and Caesar salad. It was approx $110.00 and able to feed 6. I would say that it was about right for portions and price for six ppl. I was impressed by the Carry out system they had in place. Really dialed in and professional. Food was fresh and the hot food items were still hot. As to the complaints about tri tip, keep in mind that tri tip generally is a leaner cut than say a ribeye with rich marbling. Hence the chew is going to be meatier. If you want softer texture u will have to go with rare or medium rare at most. We got medium and it was good for our family. (I prefer medium rare but my family likes medium well so we compromised.) In conclusion. The service was great. The price to value was great. And the quality of the food was great. Is it fine dining? No, but that is not what this restaurant is supposed to be. Casual food for the fam and if they continue to keep up the professional service we will be back.

Still bomb!! The food has not changed. The manager Willie came over and asked how the food was and I told him...still without a doubt, the best bbq chicken breast out there! And please make sure to get extra sauce on the side...you're welcome! The service was excellent from the time we walked in. The environment was clean and I noticed staff immediately cleaned/cleared tables. We ordered from their lunch specials. We both ordered the bbq chicken breast, because we couldn't resist. For sides, we got the stone fire beans and the roasted vegetables, plus you get two breadsticks. Pro tip: Put some of that bbq sauce in the beans! Again, you're welcome! Lunch portions are great, fairly priced, and we were definitely filled. This place is great for a date night or even time with the family and they have big tables to accommodate larger parties.

Time after time, Stone Fire has usually delivered a great experience. Unfortunately, this visit was a disappointment. I'm not sure if the portion sizes have changed, but spending $70 on two personal meals and barely getting enough protein was frustrating--the portions were extremely small. On top of that, we waited over 30 minutes for breadsticks. We purposely paced our meal so we could enjoy them with our meal, but they never came until we went out of our way to ask. When they were finally brought to the table, they were dropped off without much care, and the server seemed visibly annoyed. And our food was cold from waiting. This experience fell short of what I've come to expect from Stone Fire. read more

I want to make it clear this 1 star rating is for the terrible meat lovers pizza I ordered. Pizza cost, 30.00 and change. Awful. Tiny amount of sauce, maybe none at all. Very little cheese and I would hardly call it a "Meat lovers" pizza based on the toppings. The crust was tasty, it better be for the price. Major major disappointment. No effort, so many other things on menu, pizza should be removed. Do not order pizza from here. Staff is great, location is great, carrot cake is five stars, truly delicious. read more

Stonefire has consistently delicious food. My go-to is the lemon garlic chicken breast, which is cooked to tender, juicy perfection with an amazing lemony garlic sauce and little chunks of roasted garlic. Paired with their cilantro lime rice and you have the perfect quick lunch at a fantastic price of $13. The lunch also includes two breadsticks and your choice of carrot cake or cheesecake for dessert. Their staff is always pleasant and friendly. The restaurant is always clean. read more

When I have a big celebration coming up I always go to Stonefire Grill for the carrot cake to satisfy my diners!!! They make it fresh every day and it is delicious. One of the best carrot cakes in town. I would even put it up ahead of the legendary Neiman Marcus carrot cake!! Thanks to mgr. Willy and his staff. They are always so helpful and when I meet some of the girls I always love going to Stonefire. It's a great atmosphere and the choice of food is terrific... I'm not even kidding .Stonefire Grill has officially ruined all other restaurants for me. First off, let's talk about the food... INCREDIBLE. The tri-tip? Melted in my mouth like it was blessed by the BBQ gods themselves. But the real MVP of the night? Maria. Where do I even begin? Maria wasn't just a server -- she was a whole vibe. I was there the other night for dinner before my movie started (AMC Rolling Hills 20 is only like 120 yards away!) and they have a new menu combo starting at just $13. I had a delicious 7" Hawaiian pizza with a killer side salad and a slice of carrot cake for dessert. For only 2 bucks more I got the unlimited soda. Incredible quality with a price you can't beat! If this place was closer, I'd be there every day for lunch or dinner. read more

So one of my fellow colleagues posted a review of Stonefire we basically got ripped off by some employee there when we sent one of our associates to go place an order for a company party. Customer service reached back out after the review was written on yelp and promised to make things right by offering to send a gift card which they ghosted us and never even sent the card anyways the review as as follows you guys should be careful if you're ordering for big groups or company parties or any personal party I am writing to express serious frustration and disappointment with the experience our office had at your Torrance location on October 16, 2025. One of our representatives came in to place an order intended to feed approximately 15 people and specifically asked your cashier for assistance in putting together a suitable meal. Instead of receiving a fair recommendation or guidance, we were clearly misled or taken advantage of. The order totaled over $250 and consisted of the following: 1 rack of ribs - $36.99 Half tray of Alfredo - $49.99 Family garlic mashed potatoes - $14.99 Family baked beans - $14.99 Half tray of nutty coleslaw - $39.39 (which arrived completely missing the toppings and dressing -- essentially a tray of plain cabbage) Full tray of Caesar salad - $61.99 24 pieces of garlic bread - $7.49 × 2 This order was nowhere near sufficient for 15 people -- not even close. A single rack of ribs and half tray of pasta cannot reasonably serve that many, and your staff should have known that. What makes this worse is that the person specifically asked for help to make sure the order was appropriate for 15 people, and your team failed to provide honest or accurate guidance. We have always associated Stonefire with quality food and fair service, which is why this experience feels like such a betrayal of trust. Whether this was poor training or intentional upselling, it reflects extremely poorly on your establishment. Soo hear me out, go to one of the trails nearby (the park or the South Coast Botanical) get yourself nice and hungry and then come hereeeee Or just come here, don't listen to me lol I really love this place everything they have is super tasty! And for the pastas and Salads, they say it's 1 person portion but I promise you can share between 2 or even 3 people IMO. Always clean inside and the service is amazing. Sign up for the rewards by scanning the QR code and it gives you an instant $10 discount anddd once your birth month comes around you get a free desert . This place is very average. Not terrible, not great Pros: - The ribs were okay. Had good flavor and a few of the ribs were fall off the bone but a couple were a little tough and dry. It's a good sized rack though - Breadsticks were fine. - Inside was spotless - Workers were all very friendly - Food came out quick Cons: - Mac N Cheese was probably some of the worst I've had. It was basically overcooked pasta sitting in milk with chunks of unmelted cheese somewhere inside. It was pretty gross and had zero flavor - Price seemed kind of high considering it was over $40 after tax and before tip. - If the ribs weren't a little tough and the Mac n Cheese was good maybe it would be kinda worth the price. read more

A decent place for groups! For the hubby and I, this was our second time meeting up with friends. A few years ago, we had a Saint Patrick's Day meetup with about a dozen of our friends. This last weekend, our group was about half the size. On the two different occasions, I've had salad, salmon, the bbq chicken pizza, mashed potatoes, and carrot cake. All the items I have mentioned are tasty! As for the carrot cake, it is disappointing. The frosting is too thick and too sweet that I ignore it. The actual cake interior is OK and I'm glad I only got the personal size to share with the Mister and not the regular size. A lot of the service is "do it yourself." You pay for your meal upfront at the counter. At minimum, they will bring the food to your table. You have to go get your utensils, napkins, and beverages by and at the fountain. I would not mind returning her to meet up with a group of friends but, this is not a date night place for me though. read more

**BUG IN MAC AND CHEESE** I use to highly recommend this place and the food but the customer service has always been something they need to work on. Today was the worse. We ordered our TriTip well done, sent it back and when they brought it back 20 minutes later it was still NOT well done.. & he said, sorry it took awhile because there is a lot of orders... The Mac and Cheese came hot and looking good. As I stirred it to mix it a bit something other than cheese came up, A BUG!!! When I called a near by waiter and told him, he apologized, grabbed the bowl and ran off to the kitchen. The manager just came by to check on me, and I told him that everything is delicious and I would leave a review for the restaurant. I ordered the 7 inch BBQ Chicken Mini Lunch Pizza with no onions. It came with a side, so I picked the tortilla soup. The pizza was hot hot out of the oven. It's hard to get a pizza with sauce right, but this was smokey sweet goodness. It had the right amount of BBQ sauce, the right amount of chicken, and the chicken was cut into nicer smaller pieces, easy to eat. I had a craving for the Chicken Tortilla Soup and I didn't think it would be so smooth and topped nicely. It had cheese, cilantro, and avocado. Slightly spicy. Very good. I always like the atmosphere here with the fireplace on, good iced tea with lemon wedges, BBQ sauce on tap, soft music and mood lighting. Comfy seats and nice smooth tables. Had the stimulus package which feeds four for $40 (could prob serve 5). It was a great value. Chicken is good as the bbq is sweet and their lemon garlic is also really tasty with lots of garlic. Pesto pasta is my personal favorite from here. Red sauce one is okay. Cesar salad has a good dressing. This place is great for families and I would recommend. I have ordered to go and dined in on many occasions, and the food is excellent every time. The tri tip is made to your preferred temperature- this is my go-to! My favorite pasta has to be the pesto! Good place for families! I always drive by and never think twice about stopping here. My husband chose this restaurant for lunch today and so happy he did because I'm so satisfied. In short, GREAT service, great portions, good food, good prices. Will definitely come back soon. Although it's not a traditional sit down full service restaurant it still feels like it. Unfortunately, the first two beers I ordered, an IPA and then a Modelo, both on the menu, both out of stock, which certainly didn't help my overall impression. The dining room itself felt somewhat drab, all black walls, and lacked the refinement that I would expect at this price point. Dark walls and a crystal chandelier create an interesting contrast, but small details stood out for the wrong reasons. For example, I noticed exposed holes in the bar where a purse hook or latch had apparently been relocated. It may seem minor, but details like that matter when you're charging premium prices. At the end of the night, my wife and I walked out more than $300 lighter. While the food was undeniably good and the service was attentive, the experience simply didn't feel like a $300 evening to us. Overall, The Food Library delivers quality food and hardworking service, but for the price, I left wishing the atmosphere and overall experience matched the bill a bit more closely.

It feels like the staff is more concerned with getting out exactly at closing time than making guests feel welcomed and valued. Our last visit on 06/25/2026 was, by far, the worst experience we've ever had here. We were celebrating my stepdaughter's birthday with a large group. As closing time approached, one of our family members still had a nearly full beer. Without any warning or politely letting us know it was time to finish up, a tall white male employee (who refused to provide his name when asked) simply walked up and took the beer off the table. What made it even more frustrating was that there were other tables around us with guests who also had drinks, yet our party was the only one singled out. To make matters worse, we had brought a birthday cake to celebrate. We politely asked another short female employee for a few plastic plates and utensils so we could cut the cake before leaving. We were told no because they were closing. This has never been an issue during our previous birthday celebrations here. These were disposable plastic plates and utensils that would have gone straight into the trash, so refusing such a simple request came across as pure unwillingness to provide basic customer service. I spent 10 years working in the food and hospitality industry before starting my current career, so I understand exactly what closing a restaurant or brewery entails. I know employees want to leave on time, but I also know that providing good customer service until the last guest leaves is part of the job. If customers need to wrap things up, there is a respectful way to communicate that. You don't take someone's drink without warning, and you don't refuse a simple request that would have taken less than a minute. Everyone in our party left upset and disappointed. It was honestly embarrassing to watch employees treat loyal customers this way. This brewery used to be our go-to place for birthdays, but after this experience, we will not be returning. I rarely write negative reviews because I understand everyone has bad days. However, this experience was unacceptable. I sincerely hope management addresses the lack of hospitality and provides better customer service training, because the employees working that evening did not represent the level of service that keeps loyal customers coming back. Both the female worker with tattoos and piercings and the tall male were extremely rude when confronted. If you choose to visit, just be aware that if you're there close to closing time, your experience may depend more on how quickly the staff wants to leave than on making you feel like a valued guest.

I came here last Friday, March 9 for dinner with my mom and dad. 'm sorry if I forgot your names, but hopefully I didn't. Thanks so much to Kevin, the front door greeter for being so friendly and accommodating. I was waiting for my party for a bit and the first person that greeted me was Kevin at the front making sure I had a menu, knew how the system worked, and was ready to answer any questions I had. Very friendly guy and welcoming. While I was waiting for my party, lots of people came in and Kevin greeted everybody and made sure to help answer their questions. The cashier was Tim, I think...and he was just as awesome. They were pretty busy last Friday night, and I didn't mind waiting. I didn't have to wait long either, they have a good system in place. The service was fabulous and Tim was very good at explaining the process of ordering, paying, being seated, drinks, and plates/silverware/etc., and the food coming to us. The combo tri-tip and chicken with mashed potatoes is my "go-to". My mom got the Sea Bass with Cartwheel Salad, and my dad got the Asian Salad. The portions were perfect and the prices are extremely reasonable. Very good lean barbecue tri-tip cooked medium and perfect, and soft and moist lemon chicken. All the servers were great and it was a very busy night, but the managers made sure to do all their table touches. The GM, Keith, also made time to visit our table and greet my party and make sure we were completely pleased with the food and service. Obviously, we were; the food and service was terrific. I used to be in the industry and always take notice to how the staff works and they worked well together, like a team. Keith made sure to greet the guests and welcome everybody, while also helping with whatever it was that the staff needed. Terrific job to Keith and the team for bringing an awesome restaurant to the South Bay. I used to go to the location in Pasadena so know the food is terrific. What makes it even better is now Stonefire is close to by house, and I think the quality of food in this location is as good as it gets, and the service is unbelievably focused at excellent customer experience and satisfaction. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Stonefire Grill and their incredible staff! We recently held a going-away party for approximately 50 guests on a holiday weekend, and despite how busy they were, they went above and beyond to accommodate us. A special thank you to Manager Willy, who made sure everything was perfect. He arranged for us to have a private patio area shaded by umbrellas, which turned out to be absolutely amazing. It created the perfect atmosphere for our celebration and gave our group a comfortable, semi-private space to gather and enjoy the event. The food was outstanding, the service was exceptional, and every staff member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and professional. As more guests arrived than expected, they graciously brought additional tables and continued to accommodate our growing group without missing a beat. They also allowed us to bring in our own cake, helped make serving easy, and handled all the cleanup afterward. Every detail was taken care of, allowing me to relax and enjoy the party with my guests. My guests are still talking about how delicious the food was and how wonderful the service was. After three hours on the pickleball court we were in the mood for something light and healthy. Jake took our order with a smile that could light up the entire grill. His enthusiasm for the menu was infectious--he even convinced my skeptical friend to try the Strawberry Walnut Salad! Who knew fruits and nuts could be so persuasive? My lunch was pretty good, got a lunch special pizza + salad ! It was delicious but took a while for the server to give me ranch. The cashier was such a sweetheart! Excellent service to Christine I believe her name is. But one problem I had was that while I was eating the restaurant should look presentable right ? Anyways there was 8 tables needed to be bussed and it looked nasty and this girl walks around sees it and doesn't do anything about it. Um hello ?! You don't see dirty tables ? And you clearly see customers pushed aside their dishes on the table, so the server can pick it up and nothing she looks at it and does nothing. Yesterday thought I come and try this new place. 1) Smells really good!!! 2) Friendly staff except that no one acknowledged me when I walked in 2 girls kept on talking , Nancy and a skinny / tall Mexican girl 3) Erica is a sweet heart , she has great customer service. I was really disappointed with my experience. So disappointed that I made a yelp! I was rarely checked on during my meal, and it was difficult to get anyones attention when I needed something. Good service makes a huge difference when dining out, but unfortunately it just wasn't there. I noticed that one of the servers had her hair down and looked like it was getting in the food. It was disgusting and unsanitary. You're wearing a collared shirt but don't have time to keep your hair out of my food? Also standing around on your phone? Come on. Be more professional. This was my second time back after having a wonderful first experience I was a little confused about the 4 for 44 deal and Valerie was patient while I decided what me and my wife would like to eat and explained that it comes with a pizza or pasta meat and a side. I was a bit confused on the extra $2 for mushrooms and she explained to me that it was because I was adding a topping I opted out for that and asked to change to a Hawain pizza and she changed it for me and even gave me a cheesecake for good measure. My birthday was ruined. The stone firewood grill was a disaster. I couldn't believe the terrible service at this restaurant. The staff was neglectful and unhelpful. The bathroom was filthy with no toilet paper in sight. When I asked for help, they all just stared at each other, refusing to assist. Our order was messed up, items were missing, and no one bothered to check if everything was okay. The food was cold and subpar. We were overcharged for items we never received. The staff was completely negligent. This place needs serious improvement. The dirty floors and tables were unacceptable. My family and I visited Stonefire yesterday and had a generally positive experience. The food was great, the staff was friendly and we especially liked the Tritip and how fast our food was brought out to us. Unfortunately, I was surprised by the attire of someone I'm assuming was the manager that brought our food out. Her shirt was very revealing and did not seem appropriate for a family style restaurant. I was dining with my two sons and found it uncomfortable. Right when I walked in I was greeted warmly by two employees. It was my first time coming in and there was so much yummy things to choose from. I finally decided on tri tip and some mashed potatoes they were so delicious. I will say it was a quiet day for them but it's was nice and pretty inside they even have a fire place. The manager Valerie helped me choose out my food giving me recommendations bringing me my food and checking on me. We had Stonefire Grill cater business lunches for our customer at three locations in the months of September and October. They were amazingly easy to work with and extremely helpful in getting the orders placed and delivered on time. The delivery drivers/servers that set up the lunches were wonderful. Everyone loved the food. The Tri tip was tender, chicken delicious, the salad looked and tasted great. Oh, the desserts were AMAZING. Big hit with our customers. Came in tonight with a large party of 20 for my sisters birthday, an we had the best time EVER!!! We were immediately greeted the hostess named Jessica. She was able to offer guidance through the menu as well as make recommendations!! & was able to set up a table for our party in little to no time. Also, with help from her and the manager at the register we were all able to order our meals individually. They do have family size meals, but we all wanted to pay separate. First of all, when you first walk in here the smell you get is amazing. Mouthwatering BBQ. But when you look at the menu all of a sudden you're hit with a wide range of options from pizza to sandwiches to salmon. If you want something lighter, their Chicken Caesar Salad is delicious and comes in a great portion size. *Drinks & Extras: They serve really solid, classic milkshakes that hit the spot. They also offer beer options if you're looking for an adult beverage (though I don't drink myself). They also have a great-looking chicken tender meal option on the main menu that I haven't gotten to try yet, but it's on my list for next time. Service & Vibe: The customer service here is great--we've never had a bad experience. The seating area is clean and comfortable, and we've never had a single complaint. Small parking lot, but I've never seen this lot full so it's nice and easy. Service is quick and the staff is always very friendly and accommodating to requests. The place is small and but enough sitting and very clean. Call me basic or predictable, but I'll always get their chicken veggie plate with sauce on the side. Eat the chicken and rice with your preferred amount of teriyaki sauce and chili and it's a satisfying meal. The veggies are well prepared, not overly cooked at all. The chicken had a nice charred taste. Good sauce and not overly sweet. Service was very friendly. There are 4 tables inside for dining. Not a very large parking lot and the parking spaces are kinda small.
