This is the second time we've been to stonework Pizza and tap with a party larger than 8. They do an excellent job and provide great service on top of having really good pizza and beer. My family has a combination of vegan and meat lovers so their menu is very diverse and accommodating. This last visit was to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday. It was her choice to go anywhere she wanted And she chose stonework pizza and tap for all of these reasons. Our waiter was so friendly and sweet and did a great job checking in on us regularly, including when was a good time to have cake etc. Overall amazing experience and will be back for sure. read more

DELICIOUS! I had the pleasure of eating here last night with some friends and it was fantastic! The owner and his team were so welcoming and beyond gracious. The entire meal from the appetizers to the salads to the pizzas was crazy good. I especially loved the flatbread appetizer, the wedge salad and the Indian inspired chicken pizza. Love your pizza with the fig balsamic! Crust is great on all of the pizzas. But ordered the margherita tonight and the only topping was just tomato sauce. A margherita has to have fresh tomatoes.....otherwise it's just plain pizza with sauce. Most places also add fresh basil and some cheese. Please rethink this. Otherwise, good place with nice staff and good selection of brews. read more

Pat's new pizza venture is a true winner and a welcome addition to Petaluma's burgeoning field of excellent restaurants. My husband and I had lunch here and loved it. We started with an order of hot garlic knots with a side of ranch dressing for dipping. So so tasty! Pat had us try his meatballs in marinara sauce, too. Truly the best we've had in such a long time! The list of unique pizzas, all with the freshest of ingredients, is a little mind blowing. There were combinations of toppings you'd never imagine in your wildest pizza dreams. We chose a NY-inspired classic, The Bronx Tale, a scrumptious pizza with meats and cheeses on red sauce. The crust was cooked to perfection -- nice and crispy. The toppings were flavorful and obviously of high quality. Stonework is hands down our new favorite for pizza. We're really looking forward to returning soon to sample more of Pat's ingenious culinary offerings. Placed an order for delivery of the garlic knots and Sonoma Stampede. Omg, so good! The pizza dough was perfect, the crust had a crunch when you bite into it but soft on the inside and tasted fresh. The sauce had a spice to it that made it much more dynamic than a normal pizza but still keeping the same flavor profiles and they loaded the toppings on! The garlic knots were like crack, that fresh dough taste. Definitely going to go into the actual restaurant. read more

I have seen advertisements for stonework for sometime and I finally popped in with my 8 year old son and his friend. We dropped in after b-ball practice, close to closing and felt very welcome. The pizza dough is fantastic and what I imagine is experience in Naples. It is so light and chewy. We are absolutely coming back. read more

It's improved a lot since opening, when the crust was a little thick for me. The meatballs are good but largish (cut in half) which makes eating a slice unwieldy. The pepperoni was inconsistent and sometimes thick, and I'd rather traditional globs of Italian sausage than sliced. I guess I'll stick to veggies at this place. read more

I was running some errands with my 3 year old son and was looking for a quick bite for lunch. We decided to check out Stonework (which recently opened in the former spot of Rafy's Pizza in the Whole Foods shopping center) and are so glad we did! Their menu was perfect for us. Great beer and pizza selection for me, and individual cheese or pepperoni slices (1/4 of a 12" pizza) for the kids. The pizzas are 12" and come in many great combinations or build your own. I have a decent appetite and felt like the 12" was plenty for one person (I think I had 1/3 left over). Not to mention the pizza was great! For those with kids, Stonework has got you! Individual slices (1/4 of a 12" pizza) for only $4-$5 which comes out as two small slices. So many places lack an affordable option for kids but this is perfect. We could have shared a pizza but he only likes cheese and I like a lot of toppings haha. Also if they end up being extra hungry and need another slice it wont break the bank. Service was fantastic as well. We were seated immediately and the server was very friendly. I asked for which hazy IPA he recommended (there was 3 to choose from) and was very happy with the one he brought. When I ordered the cheese slice for my son, he asked if I wanted that to come out right away before my pizza!!! Now there's server who understands how kids are!!! I highly recommend Stonework and will definitely be back with the whole family soon! read more

Ordered to go a few days ago and really enjoyed the food. We ordered a couple cheese pizzas, a couple meatball sandwiches and garlic knots. Everything tasted great, the Pizza crust was delicious, sauce was tasty and cooked perfectly. The meatballs were so good with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Would order again. Seems like Stonework, as much as I like it, is failing. I drove up there today, Labor Day, & it was closed with no forewarning. Another day recently, they closed for 2 days unexpectedly. I hope they succeed, but the signs are not auspicious, and driving up from Marin is not worth it if there is no reliability. read more

Stoneworks seems to have a great Pizza recipe and good staff with a not so bad selection of beers on tap. A small place in the strip mall next to Whole Foods that has a good selection of beers on tap and outrageously good homemade pizza, the crust is the best in town. We had the Bronx tale with sausage, pepperoni and fresh mozzarella along with a very good Caesar salad. Pat and Garrett introduced themselves as the owners, and proved to be very friendly and service oriented. Don't order the ring of fire pizza. I love very spicy food, but this pizza was way too spicy even for me. Beyond that, the crust was slightly soggy and the pizza lacked in flavor.
