My husband and I were in Carrollton and happened to stumble across Stop-N-Go Gyros. I'm so glad we decided to stop in! As soon as we walked through the door, we were warmly greeted by the staff. It was my husband's first time trying a gyro, and they went above and beyond by letting him sample some of the meat and sauce before ordering. That small gesture really made a great first impression. We chose to dine inside, and the restaurant was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Our food came out fresh, hot, and made to order. The fries were absolutely delicious, especially with their special seasoning and sauce. Everything was flavorful and satisfying. What stood out most was the customer service. You guys nailed it. From online order to food prep to prompt delivery; everything with the service you guys provided was fast, professional, and trustworthy. I was in town for a full rig load pickup at the BuzzBallz shipping facility in Carrollton. Having had a nightmare delivery yesterday night at Amazon's FTW1 fulfilment down in Dallas TX by the i20 freeway, long story short, I was in my truck camping for over 16 hours in the rain before they managed to offload everything from my trailer. So coming into Carrollton all I wanted really was some hot food and Stop N Go Gyros delivered. Like literally thy delivered. Food was HOT when it arrived. I know the addresses from point A to point B is close by but you just never know if a driver is making multiple stops and when the food does arrive it may even be cold. But they managed to get everything out to me within 30 minutes which is fast service by my book. So yes if I'm ever in town again at a nearby stop, I'd no doubt order again from here! read more

I have no idea where all these glowing reviews are coming from because our experience was... not that. It was a Sunday, the place was completely empty, and somehow my "no onions" order turned into a full negotiation. I said "no onions," he nodded, put onions on anyway, I said "no onions" again, he took most off. At that point, it felt like we were in a weird onion standoff. The gyro meat was sitting in a warming station (not fresh sliced off a rotating piece of glistening meat like some places), which killed the vibe, and the two sad little tomato slices looked like they were just as disappointed to be there as I was. The only real highlight was the salad being a decent size. Then there was the bathroom situation. I had to wait for the ladies' room only to have a male employee stroll out, and the hallway was packed with random supplies like a mini storage unit. Start to work lady with young men always discussing and the young men have a real attitude problem, disrespectful and completely out of place. I will never come back for my last time there! My daughter and I came in on 11/14/2025 at 5:10pm and ordered 2 salads 1 chicken and lamb. This was the worst salad we have ever got from Stop N Go. The salad in the past has come with a lot more food and the meat was warm. There were two guys, one was being trained. I paid 23.00 for 2 salads with enough food for 1 salad. Love this simple gyro cafe. Good amount of parking even though it's a shared lot with many other businesses. Awesome lighting during the day and plants made the experience beautiful, as that is the only decor. Everything was delicious. The photo for chicken shawarma shows pickled veggies and cucumber but I did not receive them, so I asked and they were happy to provide a small sauce cup of each. -the menu is confusing, it is not clear what the extra fee for combo includes. -apparently it also includes a drink which we didn't receive cups for , but we just wanted water anyway and he mentioned it to us after we started the meal and went to look for some water. Came in during the weekday lunch hour and was surprised to find it busy. They handled the many patrons well and I swiftly got to enjoy a delicious meal. I ordered the vegetarian platter, which came with falafel, tabbouleh, baba ghanouj, grape leaves, hummus, rice, pita bread, and tzatziki. The rice is underwhelming (under the little plastic cup in the picture) but everything else was flavorful and fresh! We also ordered the gyro fries-- the feta and garlic notes with the texture of the crinkle fries meshed well! I needed some spice and was satisfied with the fresh chile sauce they provided. We wish the platter came with more gyro meat (comes with ~ 5 gyro strips for a fairly large platter of fries) but apart from that the meal was fulfilling and I needed to go boxes. Tiny place but super nice people, fast service and great gyros! We got a Traditional Gyro combo (#1 includes a drink and fries or salad) and a #4 Falafel sandwich. They're not huge but big enough and on great pitas with really good crinkle fries! The tzatziki was kinda plain but everything else was very flavorful and perfectly cooked! My Achilles heel has always been Greek food and bad puns. I don't give out five stars often, but when I do it's when a menu is all Greek to me ‍. Ok the normal rating scale for me Food Quality - 2/2. I figure if you're venturing to make Greek food , you've got the Gods watching. So you either know what you're doing or you don't exist anymore. The onions were a little strong , but I'm also 4 months pregnant and can taste onion three aisles over from them in the grocery store (so not sure that counts). Cost for the Quality - 1/1 - $8-12 combos with a drink, not bad. Ambiance/Service - 2/2. Maybe by osmosis of Jimmy John's next door , but this place is efficient, friendly and I could see it handling a crowd well. I almost took off a half star for the giant mirror in the restaurant. Run! Don't walk! I noticed this place on my way to lunch a couple of days ago and was immediately intrigued! Their menu offerings consist of pita sandwiches, plates and salads with chicken shawarma, gyro and falafel. I'm a sucker for a good falafel so I ordered the vegetarian plate. Holy moly! It's a lot of food! The Vegetarian plate came with falafel (crispy and fluffy!), dolmas, tabbuleh, rice, babaganoush, and hummus with tzatizki and garlic sauce and pita bread on the side. I wish I could say that I made two lunches out of this meal, but I can't. Everything was delicious and I cleaned my plate. The restaurant itself is counter service style like Chipotle and they do have markers on the floor for social distancing. It was very clean and the workers were incredibly kind and helpful.
