Our tour guide, Tori, was awesome! She was so good at explaining the operation of the vehicles. You tried them out on their lot until you feel comfortable to move on. She also made sure everyone stayed in line together. It does take a little learning curve operating the Scoot Coupes on the roadways. It doesn't take long to get it down and enjoy the open ride and feel the wind as you take in all the beautiful scenery. We took the 3 hour tour. We had perfect weather. The route was planned out so well. We covered so much. So great visiting a horse, goat & cow farm. A few gift shops along the way. We stopped at an ice cream shop at the cow farm. Highly recommend to see the beautiful countryside that you would not normally drive on. We also got to see the Amish hard at work in their fields. And we passed a few on the roads in their everyday mode of travel, in the carriages, or on bicycles. We would do this again. Maybe pick out a different tour next time for a different experience.

I'm writing this review still on a high from this tour/adventure! So Strasburg Scooters is the first activity on my Summer 2024 Adult Adventures Bucket List and I'm glad I was able to find available bookings to celebrate my new career and the exciting adventures ahead! There were other folks there celebrating as well for events including their 30 year wedding anniversary, birthdays, on a road trip, and just because. Our tour was the Bridges and Brunch tour which was early on Saturday morning. The tour began with a briefing, intro with our guide Brian, and helmet fitting. We then went over safety on using the 2 wheel scooters (what I rode) and buggy for dual riders. It's been a while since I've rode a scooter so I was a bit rusty to begin with but got the hang of it after the first 2 miles. Jumping to the tour and ride...IT WAS AMAZING!!! The view was beautiful and it felt so freeing to ride through the open spaces and scenery. I see why motorcyclists go on rides to nowhere to absorb the views nature provides. The max speed was 25-30mph but on the scooter it felt super fast except for up hill. We saw a couple picturesque bridges which reminds me of one of my first reads "Bridges of Madison County". There were many PROs to this experience but there are some watch outs. The area has many horses required by the Amish culture, so you will run into poop at some point. While it was a warm day, the ride is early in the morning so a bit chilly and even become cold as you start riding. Sun glasses are recommended and truly need for the wind and the random bugs that fly into you as you're riding. We ended the event with our brunch options that we selected in advance. Overall awesome and this was certainly the best adventure/event in a long time!!!

This was a really fun experience! I loved this tour because it was more hands-on in that we got to drive ourselves around. There was an option to ride around in a two person scooter (for double the price, so it only makes sense if you go with someone else) or a single person scooter. I ended up riding around in one of the two people scooters, and while there was a little bit of a learning curve, it was fairly easy to ride. The only thing is that you have to use a throttle, which is kind of hard on the wrist. It got tiring after a while and my arm started to hurt. We drove around the town (on the roads with the cars!) and got to see a ton of farmland. It was a very beautiful drive, and so much fun. While the guide was super knowledgable and friendly, I wish we made more stops during the tour, as we only stopped once over the entire two hours. As a whole, this was a wonderful experience and I am so glad I did it!

Covered bridge tour-we had a good time and we are locals in Lancaster County.

Brian was a great tour guide. The 6 of us all live in Lancaster, but we enjoyed the scooter tour. My husband and I have done it before and when u take a tour on a weekday or Saturday it's also an option to visit with Amish or Amish owned businesses. Since our tour was on a Sunday we didn't stop at any Amish businesses, but we had more time riding around the back roads. So I share that potential visitors realize you have choices. Our scooters were all well maintained and we had no issues driving around. Remember to dress for the weather because it feels cooler when zipping around at 20-25 mph. Highly recommend this fun activity.

We took a tour while in town for a couple of days and had a lovely experience with our tour guide Brian. We had scheduled a tour for 11:00am and arrived promptly at 10:15am in time for the training. Brian was very attentive and assisted both of us with care. We had a relatively small tour circle, as Pennsylvania was expecting a rain storm. We got seated to the scooters right away and we're in a scoot coupe. We paid a total of $226 for a 3 hr coupe tour - which stands a bit pricey. This included the tour, $20 coverage for the coupe, and taxes. Pre coverage & taxes it is about $189. I believe the price of the single scooter stood at about $89 without coverage + taxes. Honestly a bit pricey, but worth to pay every now and then. We began the day by going over the controls of the coupe, which very were easy to follow. Then we took a test drive and went onto the road. Throughout the tour we had made about 4 stops, where we visited Amish farms, and got to sample some treats. We were able to purchase soft pretzels, ice cream, and popcorn. During the stops Brian was very diligent in making sure everyone was comfortable and had enough time to fully enjoy the farms. He was very genuine and sparked up lots of good conversations. During the drive, Brian took initiative in creating both a safe & lively experience. We went all around the fields of the Amish county, and even through some forest areas. The coupes were so-so to drive. The wheel was a bit hard to maneuver, as it slipped from the hands and was hard to keep straight when accelerating. However, it was nice to feel the breeze and the coupe was able to go very fast no problem. Overall we didn't see as much Amish life and animals as we wanted to, but we still got a fair share and got the idea. However, the experience of the tour was significantly enhanced due to Brian's positivity. When scheduling a tour, ask if Brian will be present. If the answer is yes, you will have a great experience!

I would recommend this tour to people who want to check out Amish town, you get to see a lot of the area and it's beautiful there. The only drawback is that you don't get to stop at a lot of places. I think we stopped only once. It's a little hard if you have a solo scooter to really get a good view because I was really scared of falling over. If you get a double scooter it's not as bad b/c you don't have to balance and if you're not the driver you definitely get to look around. It was a 1.5 hour tour, we did the brunch tour and ended it at Speckled Hen (on our own), which was quite yummy. If you go to amish country, make sure you spend more time after the scooter tour to hit other areas and spend more time taking in the sights.

    Santa scooter time!

What an absolutely lovely time my family had this past weekend doing the Santa scooter tour with Strasburg Scooters! Our tour guide, aka Santa himself, could not have been more merry and wonderful. He made sure we felt comfortable with blankets (as it was chilly), candy cane treats for the kids (and us) and using the scooters. We had an amazing time touring Amish country on our scooters, it was sooo much fun! We got to stop at a covered bridge and take photos and see all the sights of the local area in the most fun way. Beyond a Cool experience and so glad we made the trip! We traveled from CT to do this tour. We had heard about it last time we were in the area and knew our boys would love it. Well everyone in our party agreed it was worth the trip and then some! We are already talking about doing another tour possibly in the spring or summer and bringing a larger group to enjoy it. This tour was by far the highlight of our Christmas season.... I can not recommend Strasburg Scooters enough! Many Many Thanks and you will see us again!

This place is great if you are trying to have a scooter tour around town. 1. Reservation- absolutely necessary. They do have lots of scooter (single person), so last minute we were able to get in. 2. Service - lady who runs the shop is nice and her husband the tour guide is great too. 3. Scooters: if you have motorcycle license you can do the bigger one and bring your child along, single seater scooters are available and the best, which is 2 people 3 wheeled types run out fast, so plan ahead. 4. The view/tour: you get to see the town and the guide makes sure we don't travel through the same road. Lots of farming land. The bridge stop has some interesting history, but you will mostly see the usual like you were driving. No jaw dropping view here. (not the fault of this company, it is just the view in town, let's be clear). They do a great job given the location. 5. Helmet: HIGHLY recommend bringing a SHOWER CAP or use the one that is being sold. I had to shower right after and in the evening again and still could smell the weird smell from the helmet from my hair. I actually got a hair cut the next day and long 1 hour conditioning treatment. I may have gotten the bad helmet (the person who used it before me may have been very smelly), but I wish this place disinfect or do something to prevent this experience or just provide the shower cap for free as the service is expensive anyway and caps cost a few cents in bulk.

Lovely perfect ride. Do the Mountain View's tour! And don't leave without buying some Amish cheese.

What an awesome time! Family friendly fun with a history lesson. Our Guide Brian was very knowledgeable, fun and helpful. The best way to see God's creation is to be in it. We took the coupe; it was easy and fun to drive. Loved buzzing down the with my wife. Hope to return the next time we are in town. Loved our Patriotic Helmets.

My wife and I went on a guided two hour tour. We each rented a scooter and had a blast. It took a little for my wife to feel comfortable and she would have liked a littler extra time to feel secure, but quickly picked it up and had a blast. We went on back roads and saw areas we would have never seen on our own. We ended going through town and by that time everyone felt comfortable to be amidst traffic. We would do this again... hands down! Great weekend getaway option in Lancaster.

When we first got there, staff greeted us and let us know when the next train was leaving. I hadn't planned ahead to ride this time, but they also told us there's a park a little ways down that's included at no additional cost, which was a really nice option to have. From the parking lot at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania, you can actually see the playground behind a fence across the street. Once we walked over, we just took our time looking at the trains up close, passing the shops, and letting the kids explore as we went. The playground isn't huge, but it works. It's not gated, but it's tucked in enough that I wasn't worried about my kids running off. The ground is tire shred (which I prefer over tan bark), and there's seating for adults nearby. Bathrooms are right by the playground, which makes a big difference with little kids. There's also a Thomas the Train LEGO display at the Toy Train Store (not too far from the playground) which my kids loved. Next time, I'll plan ahead to include the train ride, but this was still a really good visit.

We came here about an hour before our train and spent some time walking around the little shops…read more There was a small empty stage, and my sister stepped onto it for a quick joke picture my mom wanted to take. A man sitting nearby suddenly yelled at her that she wasn't allowed on the stage. My mom and sister apologized right away, but I jokingly said to my sister, "He probably doesn't even work here." The man immediately jumped into the conversation with an attitude and said, "I actually do work here." The whole interaction felt unnecessarily aggressive from the start. He was dressed in plain clothes with no name tag, uniform, or anything showing he worked there, so there was no clear way for visitors to know he was staff or that the stage was off limits. The situation could have been handled much more politely and professionally. Because of that experience, I honestly wouldn't come back. I also wanted to quickly add that if there was a sign, we did not see it.
