Dr. Stratton removed an old crown and replaced it with a permanent crown in the same visit. Way better than any previous experience with my old dentist where I would have to wear a temp for about a week, it would fall off, and I'd go back for the permanent one a week later. read more

But all of his staff seem to be very kind. The office is very clean and always decorated. I initially came to Dr. Stratton, almost 10 years ago for a second opinion. But I loved him and his team so much, I haven't gone anywhere else since. He's very honest and gentle. Never have been treated so impersonal by a doctor. After 2500.00 out of pocket for a bridge; returned with a problem concerning bridge. The bridge was lower than top teeth making for inability to chew correctly. Plus, could see it was lower. Doctor's response..." lab made it lower to compensate for implants." Rubbish; implants are solid. What really did it was this response: "It's better than a whole in your mouth!!!" The saddest thing is the dentist that did the implants under the bridge, who I saw before returning about the bridge problem, saw the problem and told me to return about bridge!!!! Never returned(been over 6 mo's now) and to this day can't chew correctly. Decided to give this review after receiving a postcard advertising his office...don't want others to experience what I did. read more

TL;DR - Stratton dental never fails! i'm a 6-month frequent customer and the employees here are impeccable. Dr. Stratton is honest and straightforward with you yet still kind and makes you feel as comfortable as possible. the staff really does take their time on you to make sure you're okay and not stressed! a lot of them are super funny & make conversation, but also can take a hint when you aren't up for talking (since you basically can't). i would wholeheartedly recommend getting your teeth done here! PROS: - kind and gentle staff - clean and welcoming environment - not money-hungry & offer reasonable prices - proficiency way above my expectations, they give 130% - they don't do half of the job, employees give their all - all rooms very hygienic CONS: - may be too far away from you - like all dentistry, some procedures might be costly (less than other companies but still, the more you save the better!) - you use their chapstick so often that you run out before your next 6-month visit thank you for being so kind and equal to everyone! will be coming back every 6-months like usual. 10/10, highly recommended. read more

I had gone to this dentist and was pleased with his service for several years before I turned 65 and got on Medicare. Since Dr. Stratton's office didn't accept the Medicare plan I had chosen at the time I sought out a different nearby Dental practice. Long story short I was not at all pleased with how the new dental office operated. I had Dr. Stratton give me a 2nd opinion on extensive and very expensive work the other office said I needed and he confirmed my suspicion that the procedures were not at all necessary. I will be returning to Stratton Dental for all my future dental work as I feel Dr. Stratton is an honest, trustworthy dentist. read more

I made an appointment for the initial exam and X-rays and downloaded and completed the enrollment forms. I was shocked to see a large list of procedures for which I was required to give a blanket consent. I marked most of them out and signed the form. I figured they would not accept my edited list of procedure consents but before I got that far I was presented with another form that was not on the website. It required me to agree to annual X-rays to protect the doctor from liability. I asked if I could take the responsibility for any problems and pay for my X-rays less often. But no, there was no way the customer/patient was going to be right. I was told they would not see me for my exam and I was happy to leave, never to bother them again. read more

My daughter was recently seen by Dr. Stratton to establish care. She was diagnosed with 12 cavities. I had trouble believing this as she is good with her dental hygiene and current on her appointments. She had a second and third opinions from different dentists and both stated she had two cavities, not twelve. Rather, the other "cavities"were actually decalcifications that could be appropriately treated with fluoride treatments and if treated this way, would not likely develop into cavities for 20 plus years, if at all. Further, filling these deactivations would do more harm than good. read more

I have switched to Stratton Dental in 2022; I appreciate Dr. Stratton taking the extra time to explain procedures and what I was to expect from my dental work. The office is kept very clean and pleasing to the eye, the people I have dealt with are helpful and accommodating. I have told friends that if they are thinking about changing they should go to Stratton Dental. I know that many of us don't like to go and find out we have not been taking good care of our teeth but do your self a favor and try this office.
