Tonight's order was a medium cheese with olives and a Large Chicken Bacon Ranch. Been here quite a few times. Customer service is always great. Really enjoy the cheesy garlic bread. Also reccomend the groovy twists as an appetizer. The Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza is our favorite, but also have enjoyed the the works and veggie pizzas. Great place for kids as they have a few games and prize machines. They also have a few TVs with the sports games showing. A big plus is their beer selection, they have good IPA choices. Just had an order delivered from this location. One of the items was a "cheeseburger." If you can call a burned hockey puck a cheeseburger. Not to mention the cheese was pretty much non-existent as it was burned into the edge of the bun. Howdy once again! I am a huge fan for Strawhat Pizza. The Friday Crew (Veronica and Blisa) are fives! They are BY FAR the best managers/employees and I wish they worked on Sundays! For the most part, I think these two are the glue that hold the business together; and they really cater to my son and me. I have voiced disappointment about how the Sunday crew makes the pepperoni hot hats. They lack cheese and the sesame seeds and it is slightly disappointing. Therefore, I will have Blisa and/or Veronica make it more me on Friday and I will just reheat on Sunday. THANKFULLY Veronica and Blisa have helped me in a huge way and they really are spectacular! I placed an order an hour away, knowing that this spot is on the drive home, the app said my pizza was ready to pick up, but once I arrived there they said they didn't receive my order, and would make my pizza. The worker then said it was because their phones were being weird, and wasn't showing any sign of empathy for myself or people who have been inconvenienced. I had called into the store and got a credit for a future order, but never used it. My husband ordered from them again tonight, without me knowing, so we didn't use our credit. He ordered a Salad, Garlic Cheese Bread, and Alfredo Pasta. He asked for LOTS OF RANCH for the salad and we like to dip our Garlic bread in it as well. I guess our order got delayed that we made at 7:15 Our order came at 8:53 I immediately checked to see if there was ranch and there was NONE, not a single drop. I told the kid I wasn't happy about this, I am not going to eat a salad with no dressing. He said they close at 9, so he can't go back and bring us ranch, and that he had "a really hectic day" So we decide whatever, we will eat the salad tomorrow when we get the ranch. Open up the Pasta, and its some red meat sauce pasta, NOT ALFREDO. Take a bite of the garlic cheese bread and its FREAKING COLD AND HARD. Straw Hat is back! It's been awhile since I've lived near a location. It has always been one of my favorite pizza places. I came here today to celebrate a family birthday and it's my first time visiting this location. The karaoke night was in full effect when I came in with my family. I love karaoke! We were helped by a friendly blonde girl at the "order here" counter and she was very attentive and knowledgeable in answering our questions regarding the menu. She also checked on our table later to make sure we had everything we needed and were enjoying our meals. The pizza is just like I remember. Super delicious! The Garlic Parmesan Twists in particular were cooked beautifully and tasted great. It was a fun family evening and we'll definitely come back for more! read more

I have literally WRITTEN HOME ABOUT THESE THINGS! The pizza... could use some improvement. The sauce is nice and flavorful however the crust has always been kind of dry, and the cheese tastes rather plastic like and has an off putting aftertaste. They're always on time; I never have to wait, and I've never had an order messed up to this day. I've been to this place plenty of times since I've moved to the area, wayy before it was even Straw Hat but I must say the customer service in excellent!! The owner is very friendly and since we are regulars there he comes out and greets us by name, he isn't one to stay in the back as some owners can be. The staff are all friendly and make you feel welcomed, never rush you and make sure you have everything you need. The area is always clean and accommodating. They even have an area were the kids can play which is nice and plenty of T.V's for the adults. Karaoke nights there are always fun and entertaining. If you are looking for a fun night with good food and company this is the place to be. The pizza is very good and the wings are the best in my opinion. The twist with jalapenos and bacon are the way to go if you like spicy, this is something that is not on the menu but they will do with no problem! They offer monthly specials and discounts for certain careers which definitely helps a bit. Overall the environment is friendly, fun and delicious! read more

I was envisioning Straw Hat Pizza like from my childhood. Uh, think again Nick! What a disappointing experience. I called in for delivery, I asked do the deliver to my area blah-blah-blah. After I gave her address 3-times, she mumbled "probably" . Huh? , you mean i order, give you my credit card info and you "probably " will deliver it to me? Look Hodgie, it's a "yes or no" answer , not a "probably" answer. She says "I have a customer, you must hold on"... honestly, at least 5 minutes of hearing her in the background arguing with a customer about a mix up on their order, ( imagine that ).she finally decides that yes they do deliver in my area, she takes my order after I was repeating everything three times. It gets worse a hour later I get a call back and they are asking for my address, (they hadn't even left the restaurant yet). Finally one more Straw Hat call, they are not able to find where I live, then could not figure out the how to enter the gate code. Crazy! My Luke-warm pizza was very tasty, and the prices absolutely kicked ass on Round Table. The issues were all communication related, their lack of having any command of The English language was the biggest factor, then their attitude with me because I don't speak Iranian . My family and I visited this place once since my boyfriend recalled the chain from his childhood. The staff is SUPER friendly. Maybe too friendly if that's possible. The person who took our order hung out by our table while we were eating for several minutes asking questions about our daughter. It was awkward. While I get the whole 'chat it up with your customers' deal - this girl was pushing it. As far as the pizza goes - Meh. It's very plain and I honestly could have created something much tastier at home. They put cheddar cheese (or some other orange cheese) on the pizza so it somewhat resembled a microwave pizza in appearance. They have two or three acrade games (my boyfriend enjoyed those) and I seem to recall the breadsticks not being too bad. Overall though, we wont be coming back. I eat at this place, for some reason, every few years. Well, it seems to change ownership @ that often so I guess I'm hoping for something wondrous to happen? I tried it a few weeks ago when comparing pizza sizes/prices with area competitors and with a coupon, Straw Hat won a round. I purchased a Meat-e-or speciality pizza and it was okay for the prize/size. So...this weekend, a long weekend, I thought I'd splurge and bought another Meat-e-or and a BBQ Chicken pizza. Now, I worked at many fast-food places while growing up and I know what to do and not to do, especially on pizza. WHY in the world do places like this do their level best to put the bare minimum of toppings on a pizza? PEOPLE! We are talking about flour and water, BBQ sauce and some cheese. These are not costly items. Then, red onion...there wasn't enough to fill up a tablespoon on my pizza! Then, cilantro...oh, no. Wait. Cilantro is green and tasty. They put....[please find a safe place to sit down before reading further] CARROT SHAVINGs on my pizza!!!!! Which, of course dried out and withered and were just...um, yeah. Not on pizza folks! Ever consider telling a PAYING customer that you're OUT of 1 ingredient? They'll usually cut you some slack and say, "Fuggetaboutit...that's fine without. Thanks for bein' up front!" BUT...when you pull a fast one on a pre-paid pizza and hope the customer won't notice?!!! Poor form! AND it teaches the kids you have working for you that it's OK to short people in business! SHAME on you. I'm pondering returning this for credit. Your main competitor charges @ $10-11 MORE for the same size pizza, that is somehow larger than yours [even their boxes are bigger!] and there are no bald patches on a "specialty" pizza. I ordered a one topping pepperoni pizza with extra cheese and extra sauce I didn't receive either. I also ordered the cheese burger substituting the french fries for salad because last time I ordered the ham and cheese that came with fries, the fries were soggy. This time I still received the fries, but still got the salad I requested but with no dressing!!!! So I had no dressing for my salad and no extra cheese or sauce on my pizza.
