The shop was clean along with plenty of seating. Hojicha Latte honestly tasted pretty good for it's price. Whenever hojicha is on the menu, I always order that over matcha so I was surprised to see that here. My friend said the greyhound latte was really good and she would l come back again for that but I'm not so much of a coffee person so it was okay. I've been here two times and have had mediocre experiences both times. Not the best matcha I've ever had but also not the worst, I'd give it a 6.5. Both times I ordered a pastry item and both times they forgot to hand me my item, I've had to go back up 15-20 minutes later and ask... I usually get my earl grey latte fix at Holos in Artesia, but the greyhound was better in my opinion :-) We originally came for the Banana Pudding Matcha, but turned out it was seasonal T____T but we got to try to STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE and it was pretty good! New coffee shop in Riverside? Okay, I'll bite. Went and checked it out this morning with mid to low expectations. When I got there around 8am the parking in the back/side streets was ample. Atmosphere: lots of light, large open space, good seating options, and tasteful decor. Big fan of the music and friendly staff! I appreciated fairly easy access to outlets along the wall and of course wifi for getting some work done. Coffee: While I made the choice of ordering my go-to summer drink the espresso tonic (not the perfect drink to judge the caliber of coffee off of) it still was a solid option. I loved getting to see their Bellwether roaster front and center too and hope to come back during a time when they are actively roasting. They have a unique specialty menu that I am curious to try some drinks in the future (pricier side of $8+ but this is the world we live in).
