My taste buds recently had the gold rings knocked out of it by the flavor powerhouse that is STREGAAAAAA (sung like the popular console name) I ordered a special that included a 12" 1 topping pizza and wings. I also ordered the garlic knots because they're fried and...duh. Pizza was pepperoni because I saw they use the old style (cup looking) pep. Wings were buffalo hot and blue cheese because if you mess that up I can't trust you further in flavor. Lemme just tell you...I will be back again and again. Something about the pizza is so aromatic. Every bite made my eyes close pretty much. The pizza was perfect and the pep had a nice crunch on the edges with dough not being over cooked nor too "floppy" which has been a descriptor of this pizza type. This is real brick oven pizza. The flipping (or flying) wings were fried and tossed in clearly a homemade sauce. If this was a Nickelodeon scene, when I opened the box, all you would see is gold and me smiling with a single tear in my eye. What a welcomed site *chefs kiss*. Second they are huge and fried to absolute perfection. It's like the wings don't neeeeed to be dipped but SHOULD be in the blue cheese if you get what I mean. You're def missing out if you don't try theirs. It's not super chunky and more on the creamy side which I prefer so more stays on the wing. The fried garlic knots are something special. So I opened the box and it was piled high with these little treasures. Perfectly crunchy fried outside and pillowy flavorful dough on the inside. They could literally sell these with nothing on them and they'd still be so good I bet. Anyway, it comes with a marinara that def isn't from a can and I almost wanted to drink one of the little cups. They're tossed in (wait for it....) garlic butter and topped with shaved Parmesan. *walks away with hands up* At this point my taste buds were so beat up by the time I opened my eyes from pure euphoria there were about 500 gold rings laying around me but I'll be speeding back to Strega ASAP for more. read more

My daughters were craving some baked ziti, chicken Alfredo, and some pizza. Did a yelp search and Strega popped up. I don't know why it took us so long to finally come to this local restaurant, but I'm glad we decided to finally come today. My little 6 year old ate the whole lunch special baked ziti and is asking for more. The pizza is spectacular with just enough crisp and crunch and it's not dry at all. I didn't even get a chance to try the pasta, since my daughters and their friends ate all of it in one sitting. What can I say, that hasn't already been said. Strega is quite impressive. I walked in and ordered takeout and the service was spectacular. From start to finish, the gentleman taking my order was patient with me on deciding what to order, validated my order was correct, and even offered water while I waited the 20 minutes for them to prepare my food. We ordered the Calzone, (mushrooms and sausage), arancini, chicken tenders (sauced with mild), and the meatballs. My only regret was that I did not take photographs to share. Everything was made to order, survived the drive home and an additional wait to prep the table, as the food was packaged so well, no heat was lost. The calzone was perfection. The sausage was not the typical round sausage, however, it was still delicious. My chicken tenders were exactly what my tastebuds had been craving! The meatballs and arancini were the stars of the show however, as we couldn't get enough. Thank you to Strega for the service and the food. It's challenging ordering takeout these days, because the expense rarely aligns with quality, however, Strega won't disappoint! We will definitely be back to try the pizza! read more

I always liked this place. Today I realized it's not up to standard on cleanliness. Man sprinkled cheese on my pizza with no gloves. When I asked him about why no gloves, he told me to go to somewhere else if I don't like it. He also added it's pizza anyway and it get cooked. Um so dirty pizza it is today kids. I used the restroom and it was disgusting and filthy. Toilet cover was broken and on the floor with leak and toilet paper toll holder holding on for dear life. The cover was off as in you can see inside the toilet pump and water inside. Please do better this is not a good look. Needless to say this is my last time here. You can usually tell if the practices are clean if the the restroom is halfway decent. I cannot trust a questionable place and it pains me to put such a low review. Surprisingly Strega has all day specials so I went with special 2. 16 inch pizza with 2 toppings max, with 20 wings all for the price of 38.99. Not bad! And I also added on a meatball dish. He gave me a quick pick up time which was great! It was done in the promised time. As I arrived, I noticed this was a family owned business. Nothing like supporting small business owners. He told us to sit down and wait because you would help us. When you did, you didn't write anything down and had to keep asking us to repeat our order. There was another gentleman that walked in and waited a good 10 mins before he was helped because YOU were texting on your phone and turned away for a lengthened period of time. AND THEN after we ordered, you weren't even aware of what ingredients were still available which just prolonged the process of ordering. We had to place our same order 3x before you finally came back to write our order down on receipt paper and tell us that the ingredients we had ordered were not available. We asked for 4 slices and you gave us a whole pie. Thank you. However, why are you getting mad at us when it was you that gave us more slices than we asked for. We thought it would be less wasteful to take the extra slices home since 1) we didnt ask for them and 2) thought it was to compensate for the other inconveniences we faced there. You didn't even offer the extra toppings (parmesan cheese, peppers etc.) that you offered to the other table. You're upset that I mentioned the dry pasta but your "chef" burned the other pizza you served to the other table. Your AYCE offer was not communicated clearly whether by post or by mouth. You yourself, had to explain different hidden stipulations with the offer. Instead of communicating with us, that man (I assume the other owner) chose to berate us in front of your entire restaurant. Your insinuations of our character was nothing short of insulting. It was clear that something about us was not welcome. And we were very polite and patient despite your very disorganized service. When you helped us, it was clear that you weren't even well-versed in the workings of your own restaurant. If you had to keep asking for clarification from your partner, how could you expect us to be experts? Instead of helping your customers, you berate them. Wanted to try this place out since it had good reviews. Placed my order online. Said 55 mins till arrival. My order showed up 1 hour and 31 mins. Fries were completely soaked from the moisture unable to escape from the cheap foam packaging. If you're going to deliver food. It should be in some type of ventilated plastic so the steam can escape. Pizza looked good when I opened the box but when I grabbed the pizza from The delivery driver, the box wasn't hot at all. Pizza was cold. Order fried mushrooms and fingers. They didn't put any of the dipping sauces in the bag.
