Everything in here is verrrrrry old, outdated and kinda gross. I tried this place for a couple days on a free trial membership and both days there was literally like maybe two other people there, no including the people in the classes. They didn't have the kind of treadmills I'm used to using, they didn't have the ellipticals I'm used to using, they didn't even have the weight room accessories I prefer, which are usually pretty standard items. I spoke with the front desk guy, who was very nice, and when I asked what was up with this place he said that everything was donated by the previous owners who ran a diabetes clinic... so... it all makes sense then. lol Except the fact that student memberships are $15/month which is more expensive than a brand new, nice Planet Fitness or somewhere comparable. I don't even wanna know what a non-student membership is... I would NEVER pay that for what they offer! They do have classes... so... if you're strictly a class type person then it's def a good deal. DON'T like gyms with carpet. Gross. Tear that crap up and put in something less easy to infest with bacteria and other nasty micro organism. You're a FL Hosp gym... c'mon peeps.

Lots of equipment, all of it in great shape. Private dressing rooms and showers. The staff is very friendly. Best of all it's affordable. It's a positive feeling to be in a gym run by a hospital. We often think of the hospital as a place we go when things go wrong, instead of thinking of it as a place to stay healthy. When you're riding a machine looking out the window toward the hospital, you can't help thinking these thoughts. I'm a little surprised they don't have longer hours or stay open 24 hours even. Considering that hospital employees have odd hours. Maybe as it's popularity grows, they will consider lengthening the hours. They'll give you a pass to try it out for a week to see how you like it. The machines are rarely broken (I feel like everytime I go to the colonial location the machine I want to use is broken so it's nice that they stay on top of it here in Altamonte Springs). I have the top tier membership which is about $30/month (not including annual fee, etc.) There is a sauna in each of the bathrooms as well as a hot studio! No pool at this location. R&R area has massage chairs, cryotherapy, a tanning booth, and hydromassage beds! The classes are fantastic here, and the instructors for the classes always have such a fun personality. Definitely get the app if you plan on taking any of the classes. Registration for classes open 22 hours before the class, and the hot studio classes specifically are a hot commodity so they book up very quickly but are SO WORTH IT! The training staff can be a little pushy with trying to get you to sign up for personal training sessions. HOWEVER, I have no problem telling them no even if they are being pushy. Typically if you walk in and out with your headphones on you can avoid an awkward conversation if you aren't interested in the personal training sessions. I have done a couple of the sessions when I was offered free ones, but honestly I've never been convinced to actually buy more of the training sessions (my work schedule is kinda sporadic PLUS all 3 times I've done it my trainers have been late and it kinda messed up my scheduling for the day, but I appreciate the new exercises the trainers taught me!) Overall as a gym, this is a fantastic location! The staff is friendly (when not trying to get you to buy training sessions) and it's truly a place where I can lock in and get my workouts done :)

My son (a minor) recently went in person, as requested by staff on the phone, where he was advised that he needed to make another payment, which was never explained to him what it was for, they charged him $19.36 which I must point out is $2 more then his monthly membership. Fast forward a week I was charged another $17.23 for his membership. When he went up there they told him they were "investigating" and would call me back. Here we are another 3 weeks later with no word from anyone at Crunch fitness and now they have no history of the $19.36 payment he was "required" to pay when he requested to cancel, the staff member who "processed" the cancellation DID NOT fully complete the process so a cancellation was never sent to my email. I just got off a phone call with the "General Manager" John and he was especially UNHELPFUL. The call started what I thought helpful and understanding, until he started to speak to me in an absolutely condescending tone, unwilling to "meet me in the middle" on a clear clerical error on HIS EMPLOYEE's part. I have never had this many issues in canceling a membership or have been treated with such disrespect.

I went in and was told they would cancel it for me and that I had to do it thru an email... I did what they told me... A month later I was charged. I went back down to the business and attempted to cancel again and was told I was good to go. A month later I was charged again... I called Christine (manager) who told me I had to cancel thru the email and that was the only way I could do it. She told me they could not refund me my $400.00, but that she would refund at least one month for the $200.00 and that there was no way for them to cancel on their end only the customer could cancel. A few days later I called Christine and she told me she could not refund any of my money and that she at least cancelled my membership (What I was told they could not do on their end). I asked Christine if she could put me through to their corporate or supervisor and she told me they would call me... Its been about 3 weeks and still no call from their corporate supervisor. This company is a joke and lost my business as well as any family member or friend.

Victoria Gray truly embodies quality in every sense of the word. I have a few 'must have's' that I require to even consider someone to be my personal trainer. The first is that they need to have a background in sports medicine because I've had a major injury in the past. This is what initially attracted me to Victoria; however, what impressed me and kept me coming back was how she recognized my injury and ways I was compensating for it and worked with me to strengthen all parts of my body, pushing through predisposed barriers where I would previously favor my injury. I always feel as if Victoria focuses on me as a whole, with physicality only being a piece of the dimension that encompasses my being, in that she is concerned about all aspects of my health. They have a drop-in class available but mostly operate under memberships, which include 4,8,12, or unlimited classes per month. Their prices are similar to the typical Pilates studios. The studio itself is gorgeous, very relaxing! They have a check in desk, merch, and personal lockers available. You must use grip socks, and they are available for purchase if you need a pair. I ultimately did not join because I prefer the faster pace of modern Pilates, but I will be open to drop-in in the future for a more relaxed class experience. The staff is welcoming and friendly and I would absolutely recommend everyone to give it a try!
