One of the lesser crowded locations and you can usually come into it empty after evening or early morning which is nice. The folks in the office are always nice and acknowledge me with a smile or ask how it's going. The equipment is great and the air condition (critical for sweaty workouts!) are always on and working and the fans are awesome too. They keep it warm for winter too, really clean and well-kept place. Definitely a fun place to workout and plenty of parking spots!!

I live and work very close to the gym, so when my previous gym contract expired, I was genuinely looking forward to joining a facility that would be more convenient for both home and work. Unfortunately, I have found it surprisingly difficult to even get through the door. The gym doors are locked, and access depends on staff being present. The posted "staffed hours" are clearly listed on the door, but they do not seem to correspond with when anyone is actually there. Over the past two weeks, I stopped by three separate times during those posted staffed hours. Each time, no one was there. I knocked, waited outside, and called the gym, but received no response. I then submitted a contact form through the website and received an automated email saying that someone would be in touch soon. No one contacted me. I called again and left another message, and again, I received no response. At that point, I began to wonder whether the gym was closing or experiencing some larger issue. I looked at the reviews and noticed that the owner, Jason, appeared to be friendly and responsive to customers publicly. He had also shared his email address, so I decided to reach out to him directly in the hope that I could finally get some clarity and simply become a member. Unfortunately, my experience in private was very different from what I had seen in his public responses. While Jason was responsive, his emails came across as dismissive and defensive rather than helpful. There was no acknowledgment or apology for the fact that I had spent weeks repeatedly trying to contact the gym, despite making every effort to become a paying customer. Much of the conversation centered on defending the gym's staffing situation rather than addressing the very reasonable concern that the posted staffed hours did not appear to reflect when staff were actually present. I ultimately spent another two days going back and forth just trying to find a time when I could come in, sign up, and join. After nearly three weeks of trying, I decided that the amount of effort required simply to become a customer was no longer worth it. That is the part I find most disappointing. I wanted to support a local business, and I was actively trying to give them my business. It should not be this difficult for someone to become a paying member. I am heading to In-Shape today to sign up instead. It is a little farther from home, but at this point, I would much rather deal with a business that makes it reasonably easy for prospective customers to actually become customers. I hope the gym takes this feedback seriously. The issue is not that I expected special treatment; I simply expected the posted "staffed" hours to be accurate, my calls and messages to receive a response, and a straightforward membership inquiry to be handled with basic courtesy and professionalism.

Monthly unlimited access is $179 (last month was $143), once a week class is $79, a single class is $30 (their rival, The Dailey Method only charges $25). I get unlimited access at my local gym (pool, weight room, cardio room, and all group fitness classes) at only $49 per month. Also, the baldheaded gentleman by the name of Mel. I think he is the manager or owner of this studio is really pushy and tries to get new members to start paying the $143 monthly fee (now $179) right after the first free class. It made me feel really taken aback, shocked, and uncomfortable. I thought I would other potential new members who want to take the first free class or let Kristen, the owner of this studio know, so that she can talk to Mel and ask him to tone down his pushyness because it could turn away or turn off potential new clients. I know it did for me. Luckily, my local YMCA did tell me they are going to start offering evening Barre Classes so I don't have to spend absurd amounts of money on a membership here.

I was dealing with a lot of lower back and leg pain from an accident about a year and a half prior to meeting her and was getting super anxious about returning to my level of activity pre-accident and just simply getting out of a depression that the accident had thrown me into. Samantha listened to my story and tailored a plan to slowly ramp up my strength, agility and flexibility. After four weeks of hard work (gonna give myself five stars for my own effort), my socks were rocked. I was back on the softball field. I was closer to pain-free as I had been in a long time, and it's because Samantha listens, she pushes you to your own goals, she celebrates those goals and creates new ones for you along the way so you never stop wanting to do better for yourself. I worked with her for probably five months and really appreaciated her motivation and support. I'm returning again, from a year+ long haiatus and am looking forward to getting my socks rocked some more. I suffer with chronic pain all over my body (fibromyalgia/arthritis). I was scared to participate such a rigorous routine and was a bit intimidated. The last time that I had exercised was 2019 (lol). I explained to the staff of my pain and that it may cause me not to perform some of the routines. They were very compelling and encouraging to aid me in improving so that I can be a success and not face discouragement. They made sure they showed me the regular way to do the exercised and the way for those with limitations. At the time of this writing, I am at day 20 of 30 and I enjoy going to workout. This studio just gets it. The vibes are upbeat, the classes bring the burn, and I love that I never have to battle a waitlist to get in. Shoutout to my two favorite instructors, Cassie V. and Kaitlin L. -- they bring the energy every single time. The music is always fire -- loud in the best way -- which keeps me moving through tough classes, but everything is still approachable for beginners too. Now for the honest cons: the studio aesthetic isn't quite on par with the newer boutique gyms -- no soft lighting or spa-like design moments -- but it is clean, well-kept, and functional. Also, you won't find all the extra workout accessories that some modern studios offer yet (like weights, Pilates rings, or soft Pilates balls), though I've heard weights may be coming soon. All in all, if you're looking for a no-fuss studio with great instructors, fun music, zero waitlists, and a seriously good sweat, this place delivers.
