#8/2024 Been a few years time for a quick update…read more I could definitely say this oil and go is still a very quality one service wise and everything else more. They're very helpful very knowledgeable the store is very clean. I came in to get my oil changed on a Sunday I like the fact they're open on Sunday too and I also got my fuel system flushed out. The nice thing was they told me when they do that that takes a little extra time about an extra hour cuz you have to go very slow in that process of doing it. Will definitely continue to use this oil change place in the future.

A woman that I've never saw before began helping a young man that was doing my oil change and broke the top off of my oil filter. She began to use tons of pieces to remove the piece and wasn't successful so she began to SAW the piece off. Once my car started my oil light came on as well as my check engine light . She tried to replace the filter as if that is what caused the lights . I started my car again and the lights still came on. She closed my hood and said this is an internal issue and that there's nothing they can do when THEY CAUSED THE ISSUE. She ran out of the place to pick up her children and left me by myself . I didn't want to leave and wanted someone to help NO ONE HELPED and the men watched as i sat there crying . One of the nice workers asked me to pull to the side i pulled to the aide walked back in looking for help and no one helped . I took my car to my mechanic and found that she cut into my oil filter housing. Causing a leak from the filter due to the sawing that took place . She lied and said the piece was smashed when i arrived and once i showed her the pic she said the dent that she caused from sawing was already in the filter housing. Which was a bold face lie. Now my engine May have to be replaced due to the particles from the sawing. The owner was no help and didn't offer no type of assistance what so ever . Was very defensive and ignorant . If you care about your car DO NOT come here .

I brought my car to have the thermostat replaced and was quoted the astronomical price of $3600 because they attempt to add on every single thing that could possibly be done to the car at once. This practice doesn't seem trust worthy and I feel like they could easily take advantage of someone. I was very disappointed to say the least. Meineke is a bad vibe.

I pondered about do I want to do this my self? Or go somewhere that will treat me with respect, tariffs or no tariffs. I stopped in at Mufflers 4 Less explaining what work that I believed that I needed, I had already went to Auto Zone and purchased the parts and asked for a quote. They examined the vehicle and quoted me 200.00 bucks for labor. They told me it was kind of busy and it would take about an 90 minutes I told them, have at it. I called my wife, she picked me up, they called me 1 hour later said that they were finished and didn't have to use all of the parts that Moe Manny and Joe said that I needed. With that being said I told them to also fix a exhaust leak that I had on the vehicle, I used the money that I had saved on taking the unused parts back to pay for that work that I needed. I am now a happy camper. The brakes don't squeal and the exhaust doesn't howl anymore on my 16 year old Toyota 5 speed. Low and slow is the way to go.

Once they took the back tires off, the owner told me that if I was paying with a credit card it would be a 4 percent extra charge. I told him that I was not going to pay extra and insisted that they put the tires back on. I left the shop and went to a more reputable shop and was told that I didn't need rear brakes. The owner of this establishment is ripping people off. I would not recommend this business. The owner is very shady, can't be trusted. Plus they stole a pack of disinfectant wipes from my car. If steal wipes, please do not leave anything of value in your car.

I had been told by another mechanic that my alternator was shot and I'd need a new one. The crook wanted to charge me $3200, which I found ridiculous. I couldn't have paid that much anyway. So I brought the car home and it sat out all winter (five months). It was completely dead and wouldn't start. I finally had it towed to T&A to have them take a look at it. Tim called me the next day and said, "I can't find anything wrong with the car, except your battery was about drained" (this "brand new" battery had been installed by the precious crook at Midas, as replacement under warranty). The battery may have been an old dusty one that had been sitting on the shelf for a few years. Tim completely charged the battery, then would not let me pay him one cent. I'm an older lady and we are targets for auto repair scammers. I'm so grateful to know that I can trust Tim to be honest and fair.

The front end of my vehicle was struck with enough force to knock it up on the curb, disabling its steering system. I called AAA for a tow to take my vehicle to a shop of my choice, but the AAA rep convinced me to take to this mechanic shop, Autotime, whom they are affiliated with; I agreed (I have been a AAA member for many years and never had a problem). The initial repairs were completed by the shop and paid for (mostly by my insurance company). Immediately, the vehicle steering was difficult when making a turn. I took it back for more work. Another item was found possibly damaged internally and had to be replaced. Again, the shop did the work and was paid for the extra work (mostly by my insurance ). After all that, my vehicle steering is still difficult and has to be physically forced to turn.
