Garland Fall Break, yet this location was horribly under staffed and staff present was so unhelpful and seemed either baked or miserable. Card machines don't work and were sent to the first cashier. She couldn't help us and sent us to the bowling cashier, who also couldn't help us and she called the manager. We waited 15 minutes after that for a manager. Yet, when 5 kids were getting antsy for the 30 minutes since we walked in the door, they finally get their play cards and jogged to the arcade, a rude older dude yelled at them for jogging. Then, the upper course was closed. We were told it would open at noon because and I quote " we don't have enough staff". So, at noon, we are told " the guy who runs this is running late" by 12:30, still was closed. I asked to talk to the manager , thinking he might be able to give us a time and once he was called on the walkie, he didn't acknowledge the page. Never did open the upper course. Feel sorry for the workers who did show up but think it's terrible to have 3 workers testing games when so short of staff in other areas. Won't be back. read more

I've never been to a movie theater where I had to be searched for weapons by a rude, roided-up "bouncer" like some criminal before entering the building. The entire place smells like sweaty feet and weed. The cocktails had no alcohol in them, were watered down, and took 40 minutes to get for some reason. Why are there only three stalls in the bathrooms for 8 theaters? Seriously, unless you're forced to come here for some tragic, overpriced kid's birthday party, I would AVOID this place. read more

Wish I can give this a zero stars from how frustrated I'm from my whole experience there today and in the past but I can't so I will settle for one star. The staff are not attentive at least the one that for some reason I always get in the VIP lounge. He will see you probably only 2 times your entire visit even if you press the button to call for a waiter. The first time I had him was on Father's Day and I get the place was packed so he was probably busy the whole time. But we paid a little bit extra to be in the VIP lounge so we thought we would get a waiter that only had that area. But I guess not since we only saw him about 4 times our entire time there on Father's Day even though we pressed the button way more than that. The second time was today and the place was not overly packed. Just like last time we got the VIP lounge and yet again we got the same waiter as last time. But this time the experience was awful. It took me asking other waiters, pressing the button, and trying to find him to even get a second order in. When I did press the button I had two people that are not my waiter come and tell me to turn off the button and that my waiter will be with me shortly. It took me waiting about 20 mins and pressing the button again to even see my waiter. It took 40+mins to get a shake and by the time I got it the time for the bowling lane was almost up. (Ordered it when my time left on my lane was at 57mins and got it when I had less than 14mins left) read more

I actually love going to see a movie there, but last time I went they pulled something pretty bad. I had ordered iced tea that I never got. After ordering it, I asked 2 other people as they walked by if they could check on it. After not receiving it, I just deducted the $5 for the tea off my bill, and wrote "never received it" by the tea charge line. Imagine my surprise when I see on my credit card that they ADDED $10 to my receipt balance. So they stole $10 from me. I keep thinking I will drive down there with the picture of the receipt that I have (as I thought something funny might happen) and my credit card statement, but it's a hassle. Went to watch a movie last night, the theater was hot. We complained to two people. One guy stated that they've been trying to tell corporate and nobody's done anything. My legs were sticking to the seats. I was sweating. We ordered red wine they came back 4 times with white wine.... Finally after breaking it down we got the red. Ordered twizzlers 1 he later came Back said they were out. So ordered milk duds asked for them 3 times never got them. Final bill Had twizzlers and milk duds on my bill. And white wine charges. I feel like an idiot waiting for the workers to speed up. Having to wait 30 minutes for drinks at my lane. Then when I'm done. I'm in the line at the bar just to order ONE drink. It takes 20 minutes to just take my order. I had people in my line conversating with me about how we've both waiting an outrageously long time and that we're wasting time on our bowling lane time limit and friends are already playing in the arcade. 20 minutes for 2 drafts is outrageous. This place was so much fun! We had a blast with the bumper cars (we went 2-3 rounds). They actually have a good amount of power to them. Bowling was a lot of fun and the Angry Birds option was a nice touch. There was an obstacle course above head and a rock climbing wall, which we didn't do. But the kids did laser tag and it seemed like they had a lot of fun. Good variety of games to play that kept us occupied for quite awhile The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because the prizes to choose from when redeeming your tickets really felt like it was lacking. I expected to feel that way for myself as an adult, but even the kids (11 and 14 y/o) had a hard time finding something that they wanted. I feel like Dave and Busters has good options for ticket redemption, but the prizes here felt on par with what I would see at Chuck E. Cheese. I've been here a bunch of times and lately they have been charging my credit card when I didn't spend any money there. I think they are holding onto people's card information and charging small amounts hoping it won't get noticed. The first time it happened I thought it was a mistake, but the second time they did it, it definitely wasn't a mistake. They have been doing this for a couple of months hoping the amounts are small enough to go unnoticed. currently my bank is doing a fraud investigation on them. It's definitely not a subscription or a periodic fee because the amount is different every time. I would be very careful using your card here. They will hold onto the card info and do sketchy things with it. read more

Quite the shock to come out after the movie to a giant puddle under my car. Went to see a movie and it cost me over $500. That was the deductible for my car insurance after someone put a bullet through the front of my car which went into the engine. Literally the engine, radiator, etc, needed to be replaced. I was only one of many other vehicles that were shot up. At no point was anyone notified of an active shooter in the parking lot. When questioning the manager, he was clearly more amused than concerned, and gave us a false email address to lodge a complaint. When I drive past there now, there is one of those police lookout posts stationed in the parking lot. There is a reason for that. I literally paid $6 for not even a full scoop of ice cream inside something similar to the size of a ramekin. My family (Ages 35, 34, 8 and 4) and I went here today for a Spring Break outing and had a blast! We got there when they opened, so it was practically empty. Mom and dad started out with mimosas. As a family, we started with bumper cars, laser tag and a movie. Bumper cars were so much fun...I enjoyed it way more than I expected. Laser tag was super fun because it was just the 4 of us. I don't know if they let us play long or if games are always long but we all enjoyed. We ate while we watched Sing 2. Food was great, as we left nothing behind. We had the stacked nachos. They were really good,except there were more chips than toppings. One kid had pizza and fries from kid's menu. Other kid had chicken tenders and fries. After the movie, we played our hearts out in the arcade. Definitely plan on going back. read more

I hate to even write this because I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but after coming here a few times and have poor service multiple times and now having rude customer service, I have to speak up. The bathrooms were not stocked with toilet paper anywhere in one of the restrooms(not in any of the stalls), then the other didn't have any paper to dry your hands. I'm sorry but waiting around for toilet paper DURING the movie we paid for so we miss 10 minutes of it is ridiculous. Then when I told a manager the situation, all he could tell me was that they were short staffed when I saw nothing but staff walking around and him and another gal standing around while another was on her phone that passed by us. The gal with him just snickered and giggled as I walked up and tried to explain the situation. Not only this but when we walked out, the trash cans were overflowing with garbage. Came here with my boyfriend on a Wednesday evening to watch the new Top Gun. It was our first time here and it did not disappoint! The waiters inside the theater were fast and so kind, not to mention the food was delicious. Also I recommend getting a frozen strawberry margarita... to die for! We took our two toddlers here to see the Paw Patrol movie. It was their first time going to the movies and we all had the best experience. Our server (we think his name is Devin) was top notch. He was super helpful with the menu and explained how long the entrees would take to get out to us. He was very attentive and helpful throughout the whole movie. It's just like Pinstacks, but with movies and a new car smell. I intended to write a pretty detailed, harsh review about how absolutely untrained and unprofessionally rude the staff is, how painfully understaffed they are (42 minutes for a bottled beer?), and the unskilled cooking going on in the restaurant, but then I was advised that they haven't been open more than two weeks. They have an opportunity to be amazing! The facilities are top notch, and the location is great. But I would wait another 6-8 weeks before going. Management: please overhire staff, then keep the ones who learn; essentially everyone we came across was brand new and clueless, and hadn't had anything but the most minimal training. No prebusing tables, no table consolidation, refills nonexistent, splitting tabs was a exercise in frustration, I could talk for hours....is management new too? At minimum, hire friendly people: at least their mistakes can be more easily forgiven, but a surly grumpybartender who can't make a drink, much less smile, will be a liability. I look forward to seeing progress in a few weeks, and will update accordingly. read more

Pretty cool in here movie theater, place to eat, games, rock climbing, bumper cars & bowling. Little ones loved it & so did we they have games for everyone just like main event, even the prices are close to the same. We'll be back tomorrow had to come in to check it out to see if it would be a good place to celebrate a birthday & it sure is. So we went to Strike &Reel I got to say the food continues to be terrible and the service is even worse. We have been several times I keep hoping it will get better but it just doesn't. They used to have a chicken sandwich that in my opinion was one of the best around but that's gone off the menu . While the rest of the food has been more then terrible. And every time I mean every time they forget a meal we order 4 meals and get 3 if 5 go and we order 5 meals we get 4 tonight it was 2 out if 3, they forgot my wife's pizza and so after asking for it several times I think they got frustrated and when they brought it it was frozen in the middle like for real not cooked. The place opens at 11am yet the movie starts at 11am and the doors opened at 11:02. Go to the kiosk to purchase movies because they charge a service fee online (yet the customer service is horrible) and surprise you can't buy a ticket because it's after 11am. Dude that's says he's the manager give a few lame excuses but begrudgingly sells the tickets. He has an amazingly poor attitude to work in the service industry and this place is supposed to be FUN. I always think if you hate people or your job get another job. Sorry Strike and Reel hopefully you get it together. I won't patronize and will tell everyone I know to avoid this place read more
