Too unfortunately the studio cafe is going to be one that I do not recommend to a lot of folks visiting. It's VERY expensive. There are a few snack / convenience store items at this spot but everything is pricy. The sandwiches taste like they're days old... the white claw was $14 (I think you can get a 12-pack cheaper than this)... I KNOW it is a theme park but still... a little outrageous. There was no one in here when we ventured in which is why it does get some stars. I like a place to myself - why not. The staff members seemed a bit aloof... I did enjoy the despicable me / minion cotton candy though... it was delicious and really adorable but boy was it pricy. I think I mentioned this but the rest of the park is way less expensive. $$$ for sure. Only come here if you have to... I think they should transform this place into something else. It also isn't themed too well considering what is around it especially with Super Mario World right next door. I hope they can re-theme... glad to have experienced it though!

Great grab and go cafe! Set up like a market, this cafe has prepackaged and prepared foods (pizza, sandwiches, salads, chicken, fruit, veggies, cute desserts, etc.) and drinks. Simply grab what you want and head to the registers. Seating was located outside in an area shared with Panda Express. My friend and I visited the park for Halloween Horror Nights and were looking for a place in the park that had something for vegetarians (me). We stumbled across this cafe and didn't have to look any further. The restaurant wasn't crowded and there was plenty of seating available. The selection wasn't huge but it was perfect for me... Veggie Bahn Mi sandwiche and a fruit cup! My friend had the pizza and a White Claw Hard Seltzer. Surprisingly, the food was great! My sandwich was not soggy as I feared it might be. It was actually better than some Banh Mis I've had at Vietnamese restaurants! The pickled carrots really made the sandwich. Pricing was standard for the park. Customer service was friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back.

Roasted Turkey leg at the Studio Cafe

When Universal Studios is ridiculously crowded and there's no restaurant with an available seat, a fairly quick choice for a light meal is Studio Cafe. There's a limited selection of hot and cold items, different beverages and desserts; it's ridiculously overpriced but the quality of the food is fairly good for a non-sit-down restaurant. I'm a fan of the giant roasted Turkey leg, even though I don't often finish it; it's fun to eat-makes you connect with your inner barbarian.

Tofu dish-the only Vegan dish in the Park

This is located next to the Transformer Ride in the lower lot. No lines- you just grab what you want and pay. I noticed the upper lots had significantly longer lines for food. They have sandwiches, salads, sliced fruit cups, chocolate covered strawberries and more! They also sell mini bottles of wine. There are tables outside to the rear of the cafe where you can enjoy your food. They have the only vegan dish I have found in the park- a peanut Thai noodle dish. Which was tasty and filling. It came with watermelon slices and kimchi. Sure, as a vegan you might be able to find a couple side dishes in other parts of the park such as French Fries from the Krusty Burger and Corn on the Cob from the Three Broomsticks, but this is the only place you will find a satisfying meal as a vegan. Universal Studios- please add more vegan options to your menu!!! Great place for healthier food alternatives and considerably less packed than the upper lot!!!

We were even able to find parking on Ventura Blvd, but there is a small lot as well for valet if necessary. So, about this awesome place.... Meeting friends for lunch, we are limited due to some dietary restrictions of a friend. I stumbled across this place on my quest to find something new and was initially intrigued by the restaurant name. After looking through the menu and seeing a massive amount of options in various types of dishes, I was sold. When I told my friend about this place, she said it was one of her favorites. Choosing from the massive menu was the hardest part. Of course, we ordered way to much and had leftovers for days. Every dish was amazing! I see why it's one of her favorite places. Not only was food delicious, but service was top notch. It's a smallish restaurant with a nice ambiance. They have lunch hours, then close for a bit before reopening for dinner.

Everything here is amazing and there's always the opportunity to adjust the spice level for each menu item. One of my go-to dishes is the beefless garlic. The "meat" is seasoned appropriately and reminds me of quality beef jerky. The char on it is just enough and the garlic and black pepper sauce is a great complement for the dish. The sauce is just enough to give the dish a nice glaze and it's not overpowered with garlic flavor. Customer service is always exceptional and they're always extremely friendly plus welcoming. It is a smaller restaurant with around fifteen tables, and on weekend nights it can be quite a lively atmosphere but it's never too loud. I appreciate the plants they have on the walls and around the restaurant to give it a nice atmosphere. A must-visit for any vegan/vegetarian in the SFV, but carnivores who appreciate quality Thai food will enjoy this as well.

Leonor's has been a staple in our lives for a reason--you can genuinely feel the decades of love, dedication, and heart that this family puts into every single dish. You walk through the doors and immediately feel like part of their family. It's warm, welcoming, nourishing, and a true neighborhood treasure. Thank you to the incredible family behind Leonor's for feeding our hearts and souls for nearly 40 years! We love you guys!

I started with the vegan chicken salad, and it was honestly such a pleasant surprise. It was fresh, creamy, filling and came with warm bread on the side. It is a great option for someone who wants something a little lighter without leaving hungry. The California Hamburger was also solid and came loaded with guacamole and fresh toppings, but the asada tacos completely stole the show. The soy asada was packed with flavor, and once I added their house salsa, I was officially addicted. I also tried the Special Pizza. I am not usually a pizza person, but I completely understand why this one is so popular. It was loaded with toppings, had a good crust and tasted even better with a little extra spice. For drinks, I had the horchata and the Vampire Juice made with carrot, orange and beets. Both paired really well with the food. Leonor's is currently asking the community for support, so this is a great time to pull up, bring a friend and discover a longtime local spot.

I want to start by saying, that my wife and I give every vegan place a shot, as there are so few…read moreleft. That being said, We were in NoHo, and saw "The Vegan & More" in Studio City, so we made a detour, and decided to give this establishment a try. The address for this place is simple, however, when you look for the marquee that reads "The Vegan & More" you don't see it. What you do see is at the same address (and they happen to have a Yelp Page for that restaurant too BTW) is the Jumpin Java Kitchen, which has been there since 1995! As you can see from the photos, this place that first attracted us to come, is not a full blown restaurant, nor a pop-up (that we also passed on this a.m.) but a page from the menu from another restaurant. To me, this is what one would call BAIT AND SWITCH. Now let's get on to what was ordered.. My wife ordered the Vegan Egg Scramble.. and mind you, the photo that they showcase both on Yelp and Google, is FAR FROM what they served. The key to this dish is the vegan egg... not the veggies... .and you can see from our posted photos, from this a.m. there's barely anything there... which is why my wife didn't eat it. Now there are a few things that really bug me here... 1. The Vegan & More should not have a page on Yelp,a and Yes, I am going to complain, as when we arrived at the address, there's absolutely NOTHING there to say we were in the right place, other than the address. Also when we asked the server, he confirmed they have Vegan Options.. Not once was the name "Vegan & More" mentioned! 2. Portions, what you advertise from your photos, IS NOT what you serve. Forget about the overabundant of "home potatoes" that costs you nothing, but the very key of the meal, for a vegan to eat, you barely put anything on... yet while your photos show otherwise... 3. When the server asked if we wanted a box, and we refused, you would think the owner would be notified that the meal hasn't be touched... but no.. nothing. We got the check, paid WAY TOO MUCH for barely anything... Did I eat, yes, was it good, it was ok... but that's not why we were here... A new Vegan Restaurant in Studio City is what brought us here... However, FULL TRANSPARENCY is needed! Don't say one thing, and be something else... not even a mention to rebranding, nothing... Jumpin Java Kitchen IS what is where you would expect to find The Vegan & More"... Beware....!!!!

Did not check on us at all even when we motioned to them. We waited and waited for the check and 3 different servers asked how the food was. We said it's was not good and we're obviously unhappy. No one made any attempt to converse with us or offer anything other than the bill. $70 for bad service, weird attitudes and bland food.
