Gio has millions of excuses for me about my refund
    Christian K.

Update since my last post. After my review was initially written ad posted, Robert the owner called me to talk to me about the post. To me, he gave this apology that didn't seem genuine because of the bad review. He offered to give me my money back and gave the excuse that they don't have the funds basically to give it at the time and even offered a free oil change. He asked me to take my post down, and I told him I would consider taking it down after my refund was given back to me. Since the time of my initial post, I have not heard back from studio rsr and I am not surprised by any of it. Like I've said in my post, and you can see the reviews from the other negative comments about refunds. I am utterly disappointed but not surprised, but if that's the type of business that they like to run and the people (Robert, Gio, nick) that's the type of business you like to be apart of.

Great quality craftsmanship, welds and powdercoating! This was delivered way over the scheduled date and I did have a lot of miscommunication at first. A general manger Eric came to the team and completely changed my view about Studio RSR. They been nothing but helpful ans truthful. Updated text weekly and pushed for my exact completed date. I will be bringing my business back to them so please let them make it up to you or try to earn your business this new staff management is doing great!

Visited Studio RSR to get a crankhub service done on my f82 m4. Everyone was super kind and professional. Check in was a breeze and Dillon helped me out tremendously. James the tech tackled my crankhub and also pointed out some other areas of concerns. All in all super pleased and proud that studio RSR is the shop I'll keep coming back to (but not for a spun crankhub) Also, dropped the car off at 10 and had it back by 6! Thanks studio RSR!

Took my M4 in for a valve cover change and some routine maintenance about 9 months after I got my crankhub done here as well. Everyone here was super friendly and transparent on everything about the service. From the parts, labor and even the timeframe. There's nobody else I'd rather trust my BMW to. I will definitely return again in the future!

Be careful of them. I ordered a fabspeed exhaust system from them and waited 3 months to find out they never ordered it. Finally got ahold of the owner Robert and was promised a refund for the amount. It has been almost a month now on top of what I've waited for. His excuse is that they have no money left to operate and will not return any phone calls or text.

These guys have always done me right. Customer service A+ and speedy, quality work. Thank you Robert and crew!

--- Update 12/3/25 --- After posting my original review, Robert, the owner, reached out and issued a refund through Zelle. He apologized and asked that I remove my review. I told him I would update it once the refund was fully received, which it has been, so here is my honest follow up. While I appreciate finally receiving the refund, it does not change my experience. For months I tried to reach someone by email, text, and phone, and no one ever followed through. The only time I received any real attention was after my review began to affect the company publicly, which says a lot about the priorities here. Overall, a miserable experience, and I hope to never do business with anyone associated with Studio RSR ever again. --- Original review --- SCAMMED OUT OF $1,000. READ ALL THE ONE STAR REVIEWS. DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS WITH YOUR MONEY. I paid Studio RSR over $1,000 as a deposit for a custom cage with a promised 2 to 3 month lead time. It has now been more than 5 months with absolutely nothing delivered. I have no product, no ETA, no updates, no proof that anything is being built, and zero meaningful communication or support from their staff. As soon as they took my money, it became nearly impossible to get anyone to respond. I have emailed, texted, called, and made every attempt to reach someone and resolve this amicably. Whenever I reach out, the only responses I ever receive are excuses and empty promises. I am told things like "we are having issues with our welding machines" or that I will "receive an update soon" or that "we are transitioning to new management." At one point they even tell me the cage is finishing phase 1 of production and will be entering phase 2 soon, yet months go by with no progress at all, and not a sliver of evidence that my cage even exists after repeatedly asking for proof. None of these explanations lead anywhere. Communication simply stops. My calls go unanswered, my emails receive no reply, and my messages are ignored again and again. What makes this even more concerning is that the General Manager steps in via email and directly asks the owner, Robert Robles, to take care of my situation. This request is in writing, and even with his own management asking him to address the issue, the owner chooses not to respond or resolve anything. It becomes clear that the problem starts at the top, with leadership that shows no regard for their paying customers. This pattern is not unique to me. Countless other one star reviews describe the exact same experience. Excessive delays, no updates, no product, and refusal to refund. I am now forced to pursue legal action simply to recover the money I paid for something they never built and never delivered. IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND MONEY, STAY FAR AWAY FROM STUDIO RSR.

I had an amazing experience with RSR . I brought my M3 and they replace my crank hub, spark plugs, coil packs , and more. They finished less than a day. The mechanic James did an amazing job. Everyone was professional and worked very fast and efficiently. I will trust them with my car. Thank you STUDIO RSR for an amazing experience!

Been coming here for years and can confidently say these guys are the best. Super responsive, honest, and they genuinely know their stuff. I trust them completely with my cars -- wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff is awesome every single time!

Atlanta resident here that got my crank hub done as part of a special Studio RSR did for us East Coasters. The initial communication about the project began in 2024 and the work was completed last weekend. Drove down to the Orlando area from Atlanta to get my crank hub done along with some plugs and coils. Over all the experience was very good. Dillion and James were really nice and very knowledgeable. James took care of the crank hub install and it went smoothly. Along with the crank hub, they replaced the following - main seal, valve cover gasket, cam gear bolts, crank bolt and the vacuum pump cover. They got me in and out quickly and the car is running well. The only thing I will say that needs improvement is communication. Communication leading up to the install was lacking which did cause some stress. I do understand that a lot was being done to get ready for the project but being more diligent in updating customers would go a long way. Overall, very good experience and a great deal on the crank hub replacement.

I've gone to Studio RSR now for a little over here on three separate occasions!! I can't speak more highly of them and the team there! They know their stuff like the back of the hand and are genuinely great peoples!! Just wanna first and foremost let you know I'm in a wheelchair, so I have weird accommodations, and they've always been able to help out with whatever need be! It's a small little drive over, which I don't mind, but they are very much worth it for any and all BMW needs!!! Awesome people and awesome place!!

That's why I came back, and once again, they exceeded my expectations. This time they wrapped the antenna, roof, spoiler, and mirrors in black PPF, did the full front end in clear PPF, and added black vinyl to the lower side door molding, rocker molding, and rear trunk molding. The cuts and edges are incredibly clean. If you're thinking about PPF or vinyl wrap, you won't regret choosing Aerowerkz.

However, I followed up a couple weeks later asking if a certain date worked. I even explained that I had been busy and said the only time I'd have to bring in the car would be the following week. I paid $450 for this wrap and an extra $100 for the wrap itself. When the first job was done poorly, I went back to the shop to address the issues and they said they would fix it. I texted on a Tuesday expecting a response, and I waited until Sunday to follow up again. Instead of Lisa taking accountability, she told me I "did not reach out," which is extremely unprofessional and untrue. I had apologized for being busy, and I did reach out; she just did not respond. When I reminded her the job was poorly done and how there had been no response, she took zero accountability and tried to use my words against me. Lisa ignored my response when I explained how the situation should have been handled and how she failed to reply in a professional manner. As the customer, I should not have to teach someone how to treat me correctly or how to run a shop professionally. I wasn't trying to start problems; I stated the truth about the situation, but she did not like that. I went back because I had already paid and just wanted the work corrected. I dropped my car off again on Monday around 11:30am. The shop texted me claiming the wrap "wouldn't adhere," which I knew was an excuse. I told them to proceed because the material was fine, and if they couldn't install it, that was their shop's error. The rest of my car's wrap was perfectly fine. To double-check, I contacted the previous shop, who confirmed this shop was making excuses, saying, "The wrap sticks just fine. It sticks on the rest of your car fine. They're talking nonsense." I knew they no longer wanted to service me, and I no longer wanted their service either. I paid a good amount of money for this treatment. I made sure the job would get done. The shop told me the job would be done by Wednesday late afternoon. This was the second time they confirmed a deadline and failed to meet it. I made it clear from the start that I have a busy schedule and cannot afford delays, yet they did not respect that. Removing and rewrapping a front bumper is a 1-2 day job, it is not like I was asking to wrap half the car. I set a boundary that if it was not ready by 5pm Wednesday, as they confirmed, I would request a refund. My whole car was wrapped, had parts added, brakes caliper color change, and badges blacked out in about a week. I took it to another shop before taking it here. (Dependable Guys in Santa Ana) I am not a professional, but I am not stupid. There were no photo updates either, I had to ask for them. When they finally sent a picture, the wrap looked freshly slapped on two days after I dropped the car off. The day I dropped it off, they said the wrap did not adhere. It looked like my car sat there for two days until I asked for the photo, or it took them two days to remove a month old wrap and throw on one big piece lol.. My car is a small sedan, a CLA, not a supercar or SUV. Her words were: "Ok we will remove all the wrap and give you your money back. Come and pick it up today." She added, "You are demanding the refund so come get it. We cannot accommodate the time frame for you. Thank you we will be gone by 5 so please make it in time so we can process the refund." However, Mark (the installer) had reached out to me and told me him and his co worker would come into work early to finish the job. This was the second time they broke their own deadline, and instead of taking accountability, she tried to flip it back on me. Lisa took everything personally when this situation should have been handled with professionalism. I never asked them to remove my wrap; I just wanted the job done properly. The installer Mark was professional, but Lisa was disrespectful, dismissive, and extremely immature in how she handled the situation. I told them to leave the wrap and keep the money. This was their mistake, which took up the free time I rarely have. Even after I explained my situation, reminded them of prior mistakes, and was patient with the delays, they still couldn't get the job done on time. I didn't want or need the money back; I needed my car back lol. It was clear they didn't take me seriously, and I was forced to escalate this further, which she didn't like either. This was waste of time and caused unnecessary stress. I was frustrated because I had to deal with unprofessional and immature behavior. All I got were excuses, missed deadlines, and poor communication. This business does not stand on its word or its service. Don't bring your car here. Many shops in OC offer far better service and professionalism. I recommend Dependable Guys in Santa Ana! It turns out the wrap sticks just fine and clearly they were making excuses... 3 weeks no issues.

They noticed my hybrid battery cooling fan was missing after I told them I just had it "replaced" at another shop. That's the kind of information you don't usually get from a repair shop. They ended up not needing to drop the subframe, so they adjusted the labor instead of charging me for work they didn't have to do. It still took the amount of time they said it was going to take, but still discounted me a little bit which I thought was cool. Project Import is one of those rare shops. What separates them isn't just the quality of the work, it's the level of thought that goes into every decision. They don't just ask what problem you're trying to solve today; they ask where you want the car to be years from now and build accordingly. Every recommendation is made with the long-term goal in mind. I've brought them some complicated issues on my 1JZ-swapped E30, and at every step they've been realistic, honest, and incredibly meticulous. If something needs attention, they'll tell you. If something doesn't need to be replaced, they'll tell you that too. No upselling, no shortcuts, no guessing. Just real diagnostics and real solutions. What I appreciate most is that they refuse to take the easy route if it's not the right route. A lot of shops will get a car out the door as quickly as possible. Project Import takes the time to do things properly the first time. In the long run, that actually makes their work a bargain because you're not paying another shop to redo it six months later. Their fabrication, attention to detail, and workmanship are top-notch, but honestly the biggest value is the trust. When they tell me something, I believe it. When they recommend a path forward, I know it's because it's the best solution for the car, not because it's the most profitable solution for them. At this point, I won't take my cars anywhere else. If you're looking for a shop that's honest, highly skilled, forward-thinking, and genuinely cares about doing things the right way, Project Import has earned my highest recommendation.
