I blew the engine on my 2018 BMW M4 back in November. Not a fun situation to be in and definitely not cheap nor easy to fix. Dillon offered to have my car towed the same day I blew my engine to get it inspected and create a plan to get it back on the road. I sat on the car for a month in my garage to really think it over (fix or sell it) but finally decided to follow-through with StudioRSR handling the task on hand. They were not only able to provide guidance to where to source my motor but also created a specific work plan to get me back to where I was pre-catastrophe. tl;dr - They got my car back up and running in 2 weeks! You have to understand that a motor transplant for this platform is not easy to do for many reasons (logistics, supply to begin with). Although there are other shops out there that can 'do' this kind of work, what sets this shop above and beyond the rest is their genuine effort to ensure all the variables, checkboxes, and other requests you as a customer have are addressed. I am extremely picky and scrutinize everything that happens to my car and although I added layers of complexities to the reassembly and installation, they took their time and made sure I was happy with everything. Shout out to these guys. Due to complications on my end I ended up missing my appointment by over an hour. Completely my fault and I offered to rescheduled but they still ended up taking me in for my seibon diffuser and 3rd brake light install. One of the techs had to stay later than he normally would to get the install done. I felt like an asshole but they were over accomidating and never made me feel bad. The seibon diffuser had fitment issues but they were able to minimize it and make it look almost as good as perfect. Had I done the install at home, it forsure would've looked ratchet lol. There was no way anyone could've done a better job with the diffuser. They also installed the brake light with no issues as well. The whole team is knowledgeable, friendly, and just seem to have a passion and love for cars. They're also very helpful and responsive with getting scheduled and with ordering parts. All in all, give them a call or reach out to any one of the team members on social media and they'll get you set up. Get it done right at StudioRSR or don't get it done at all! read more

8/15/23: UPDATE: I went on vacation July 26-8/1, and left my car off with Dillon and StudioRSR for the following: DCT fluid and filter change rear Differential Bushing replacement new spark plugs and coil packs Crankhub replacement The work in and of itself would take about 2-3 days, but I asked if they would hold my car for the time I was on vacation; Dillon said it would not be a problem. Although I couldn't take phone calls, texts were easy to reply to. And Dillon sent me regular update throughout the time my car was being worked on. Submitted a deposit for a roll cage on Dec 28. They had me zelle them $1000 for a deposit & collected my information, and said it would be a March/April delivery. It's mid May, and it required contacting them multiple times for an update for a response. I'm now selling the car and no longer have it, and they're refusing to provide a refund, stating that "on the invoice" they have a 0 refund policy for deposits. This was never communicated - after submitting my deposit, I never got an invoice. There was 0 communication for months until I contacted them multiple times on multiple platforms. Their no refund policy was never stated or mentioned anywhere during the purchase process - there have been 0 updates on my order since I placed a deposit, and now I'm out $1000. Do not recommend, shady company. read more

STUDIORSR STILL OWES ME $5443 - STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP Studio RSR received $12,600 in AUGUST 2022 from me through an electronic wire to order parts for my Supra, including a Fi exhaust. I experienced lots of delays, defective parts, janky installs, and a supposedly "lost" carbon hood but got some of the mods on in DECEMBER of 2022. This entire time StudioRSR has been lying to me about the status of the Fi exhaust. Week after week Richard (my sales advisor) would tell me they are contacting Fi about the delay. Richard recommends that I should reach out myself as a customer, hoping that Fi would take it more seriously. After reaching out to Fi directly, I found out that the truth is StudioRSR is simply incapable of ordering an exhaust. A Fi official gets back to me the same night I sent a request on Fi's website and here is what I found out to be the actual timeline and what happened: I paid in full in JULY 2022, and StudioRSR didn't even try to order the exhaust from Fi until SEPTEMBER, Fi gets back to StudioRSR saying they'll be available in 2 weeks. StudioRSR never orders it. Meanwhile, StudioRSR messages me on Instagram saying that they heard from Fi that it's 2 weeks out and a week for shipping. I still ask about the exhaust every couple of weeks, On October 7th, StudioRSR tells me that Fi says the exhaust is getting ready for customs and they have been asking for an update all week. In NOVEMBER 2022, since Fi didn't hear back from StudioRSR, Fi sends out an email notifying Andre (the person in charge of purchasing) that the order will be canceled for now since they didn't hear anything back. Andre responds that they are waiting on "accounting's approval" and the order is still good. *Keep in mind, StudioRSR has had my full payment for the exhaust for more than 3 months at this point* Fi tells them that the exhaust is in stock still. In JANUARY 2023, Andre decides that it is finally time to order the exhaust for me, "finally got approval from accounting to purchase the exhaust". As usual, Fi answers the same day and asks for a payment method from StudioRSR, NO ONE EVER ANSWERS FROM NOW ON. Fi also confirms that they did not receive any kind of payment from StudioRSR I confronted shop owner Robert with Richard in the room on February 20th. They claim they used a different supplier or Fi has their money but wouldn't send the exhaust. For every lie that I exposed, Robert has an excuse to make up for it. Eventually, they agree on issuing me a refund and I would get a check that week. Now more than 4 months later, over 40 emails later, and many many false promises from Robert, I still have yet to receive my refund of $5443 from StudioRSR read more

Been waiting to write this review for a long time now. However, now I think it is necessary to share my experience in hopes it helps others. Almost a year ago I purchased a Roll Cage for my A90 Supra from StudioRSR. Left a $1000 deposit in order to get the job rolling. Originally was quoted 8-10 weeks at the time to complete it. Well, months not weeks went on. I would struggle to get ahold of anyone to get an update. I felt I was lied to on many occasions. Finally, almost 7 months later I was told it would be ready and asked to pay the balance owed. So I did and actually was able to get an install date. StudioRSR installed the cage and it looked like a clean job. Few months later my Sparco Seats came in and when I went to install the harnesses I noticed I didn't really have a good way to route the shoulder belts. I asked on one of the supra groups which would be the best way to route the belts. Most told me I couldn't safely. However, the owner of studiorsr came out (Toby) and said to install them on the back rear bars. Which causes the harness to go at an angle. Another few weeks later I go to Buttonwillow for a track day with NASA. During tech I was failed for the cage. Not only for the harnesses but for the lack of a third mounting bolt in each leg of the cage (Only 2 per leg not 3 as required) StudioRSR actually marketed this cage as NASA compliant... which was not true! When I called it out on the group Dillion quickly replied (Only time they reply quick) Offered to swap me out with another cage with the correct harness bar as long as I took down the post. Agreed and took down the post. Well, that was 3 months ago and they have been radio silent on anything, Two other fabricators have pointed out may design flaws and safety concerns with their cages. So posting this as a warning to anyone looking to do business with StudioRSR. Poor/Unsafe Products and Even Worse Customer Service. read more

Found out that my previous crank bolt capture (CBC) was not performed.. I found out because my crank hub spun. When I took it to my local shop, I made them aware that the CBC is upgraded. Upon opening, my local shop said its fully stock (they facetimed and sent me photos). It was upsetting. Tried contacting the shop for this issue and it was extremely difficult to contact them-- took about 2 to 3 weeks of on-and-off response from them.
