In short, I'm a fan. The Stufd size burrito literally lasts me three meals. It's a ton of food and packed with flavor. Definitely prefer it over Chipotle and Qdoba. I like to combine two meats and get both pinto and black beans. I am sad they discontinued the shredded beef so I opt for the carnitas instead. They also include a small portion of tortilla chips with every burrito purchase for free. A side of cajun fries with ketchup and ranch are also a must. They also have a loyalty program with points that you can use for discounts off of future services. It's definitely worth checking out if you've never been. read more

First, I will start by saying that the food was absolutely out of this world and had great flavor! I think it had way better taste than Chipotle does as it has gone downhill so much lately. The portions were great. The shredded chicken burrito was good. The beans were firm, al dente rice. The queso was my biggest disappointment. It just taste almost like gravy very flour forward not like cheese at all and just not a lot of flavor. And I paid extra for chips and what you see in the picture on the plate is all that comes with it for the up charge. If you're just getting burritos, it's worth it but the sides left something to be desired. If you're looking for another Mexican restaurant, this is a place to consider. I've been here 2-3 times and the burritos here are no joke. Pretty big, maybe just as big or slightly bigger than Chipotle. I like the fact that they have two choices of burritos for a vegan like myself, tofu and vegetarian either regular or STUFD size, I always order the STUFD size. The burrito tastes pretty good too, a little on the salty side but filling. I haven't tried the other items on the menu such as the quesadillas, nachos, tachos or the chimichanga but maybe some day I can venture out of my comfort zone. Went to Stufd and ordered the Stufd sized tofu burrito, add in rice. Got my order and took it home to find that it had been made with steak instead of tofu. No problem at all, mistakes happen. I just don't eat meat so I was unable to eat it. I called up the restaurant and they said to bring in the burrito and they would replace it. "Sounds great" I said! So I drove back, handed them the burrito and they started making me a fresh one. They brought out my new order and they had given me a small sized burrito. They apologized and went and got me a larger sized Stufd one like I had ordered. When I got my correctly sized burrito it I opened it up to find no rice inside of it. No problem! Mistakes happen. I politely asked if I could have a side of rice to add into my burrito. While the associate went into the back to get my side of rice I realized there wasn't any guacamole on my burrito either. The associate came back and said he wasn't able to give me any rice. Which I don't understand as I had paid extra for rice. When I asked about the guac, he said there was some on there (pictured) and I asked if I could get some more guacamole on the burrito as it was only on the very end of the burrito for one bite. The associate went into the back to see if he could get me more guac, and I heard the person in the back respond to him with "you have got to be fu%%ing kidding me" and then the associate said I could pay to get more guac if I wanted. Not once was I ever rude, upset, raised my voice, or anything like that. They made me feel like I was in the wrong, but all I wanted was the meal I ordered! After being refused to add the rice into my burrito or any guac I asked for a refund. They gave me a refund, but charged me for my side of chips and salsa as "that was correct." All in all I just feel like this was really bad business. Why not just give me a little bit of rice to put in my burrito like I had ordered? Why not give me some guacamole in the burrito like I ordered? I would've never left a bad review had they just made my food correctly as I had ordered originally. I was not asking for anything extra, I didn't ask for anything for free that I didn't order. My experience maybe could've been improved with another order, but I just never had the desire to go back. Not worth paying for not even close to good whatever you call it. They give you kid sized portions and nasty thick queso there was barley any cheese on my quesadilla and a lot of cold chicken that was very gross. Sides of rice come in a dipping sauce container that they call 4oz which is not a lot compared to what you paid for. Never again and to add in I early Ever do reviews but I was very shocked. This was my first time trying Stufd. I work in Ypsilanti and decided to give them a try. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and side guacamole. The chicken was old and the quesadilla itself was just not good. For starters, it wasn't not hot or oozing with cheese. The cheese was very minimal. The guacamole was more like onion mole .... which was beyond disappointing. To add insult to injury the onions were white and not the traditional red onions. Avocado and white onions!!!! That's it nothing else. The chips were nothing exciting, but for the most part saved this review from being zero stars. My dish was not freshly cooked. Day old chicken was stuffed between flat bread with very little cheese. Please don't do this to anyone else! read more

The burrito bowl was terrific--and it included everything that all the other places charge you more for, except, of course, the guacamole, which I was happy to pay extra for. STUFD is actually some of the best Mexican I have had in Michigan, and definitely the best queso. It's very fresh, the tortillas are dang good, and the regular stufd size is the size of a chipotle burrito and the bigger size is a MONSTER the size of a log of wood. For the price, it's honestly the best Mexican you're going to get. Nice casual atmosphere, I love that it is locally owned. For Michigan standard, this is definitely a 5 star. I'm a little bit of a Mexican food snob, being born and raised in Texas and moving to Michigan from Austin, TX. If this place was in Austin or LA, I think it'd probably be 4 star (it felt a little bland, but for the mid-west, I don't think y'all have the palate for what we are used to). My boyfriend and I both got burritos and queso with chips. It's was delicious, fresh, and so filling! He got the chicken bacon ranch and said it was fire. I loved the queso and chips!
