What a great spot! Samantha was our server today! She said she was new but everything was perfect…read moreso, she's doing great and gave Awesome service! Now to the food. WoW get ready to eat or bring it home. Very hearty portions of homemade scratch food! The corn beef hash looked and smelled delicious, the unbenny my mom had also was fantastic! I cannot think of the name of my sandwich but it was the rolled biscuit with eggs and meat, I did not have meat but added avocado (which is extra as well as potatoes) other sister enjoyed the endless mimosas with Country fried steak, which she has never had but said it was great. Definitely give this gem off of I-75 in Punta Gorda a try. The interior was Very Happy! I love it

Starting off with the ambience, the place is SUPER cute, decorated with a color theme I call "sherbet whimsy" with a smattering of smiling emojis. Our party of 6 was warmly greeted at the counter and immediately seated together. We started off with their delicious coffee, some hot & some cold...all excellent! The menu is fairly extensive for a breakfast joint, so the server gave us some good recommendations & said everything here is house made. Wow! OK... so we all got different menu items, and despite being warned about the HUGE portions...we could not have fathomed how large they are, but the prices do reflect how much food you're going to get! The breakfast burrito could easily feed four people. Our lone young male in the group - who might have a tapeworm based upon his ability to devour gigantic amounts of food - did his best, but could only consume about 2/3 of it. He said it was amazing, especially when paired with their delicious house made hot sauce. Two of us got two different bennie breakfasts, and raved about the hollandaise, the stretched "biscuits" & the fried chicken. Despite being smallish young ladies, they put a good dent in their meals. One of us got the outstanding corned beef hash, and thankfully generously shared with yours truly!! She could not eat even half of her meal, so I was glad to help out! :) The corned beef hash is not your standard ground-up version from a can. It is house made, with larger bits of potato, corned beef, onions & peppers. They get a perfect scald on it & serve it up with eggs & thick sliced perfectly toasted/buttered toast. My picky husband got the chorizo scramble with a side of fruit & really enjoyed it. I got the fantastic avocado toast with a side of potatoes. Everything was perfect... the thick slices of toasted wheat bread adorned with melted cheese then topped with very fresh & perfectly ripe avocado slices. I didn't prefer their scrambled eggs & should have gotten them fried instead, but it was still perfectly good, especially when dipped in their hot sauce. Thankfully my husband shared some of his fresh fruit, which was ripe & good. I dipped the pineapple into that hot sauce, which was delicious together. The place is very clean, including the bathrooms. The clientele were a menagerie from various demographics...retirees, blue collar workers, bikers, vacationers; everyone was pleasant & seemed to be enjoying their meals. This was one of the better meals we had during our trip, and definitely the best breakfast by far. It's so close to the airport, too. I'm so glad we got up early enough to be able to fit in a stop here before catching our flight home.

My husband visited today 4/23/2026 and said the food was good, but his experience with 1 particular staff was uncomfortable and unwelcoming. On her way I'm going inside, a woman approached him rudely in a way that made him feel like he didn't belong there. She didn't greet him or anything. After he had already ordered his food and paid for it, he was sitting outside waiting , she approached him with an attitude and said "Do you need a menu or something, or are you just hanging out?" As if he wasn't supposed to be there. This was completely unnecessary and made him feel disrespected. I later called to speak with a manager about the situation. The woman who answered was unhelpful and unprofessional. She questioned who I was, refused to clearly identify herself at first, and would not let me speak to a manager. She even told me to come so she could meet me and I didn't understand that at all. She then hung up on me. When I called back, she ignored my call, but answered when I used a different phone. At that point, she said she would put me on hold so she could tell her side of the story to the manager first before letting me speak, which is not how customer concerns should be handled. Overall, while the food may be decent, the customer service was extremely poor and needs serious improvement. No customer should be made to feel uncomfortable or dismissed like this.

You know they are a good breakfast spot when people are waiting at 6:15 for doors to open. We had…read morebreakfast here a few years ago and enjoyed it; wanted to go back but we don't eat breakfast often. Prices were higher this time, understandably. They are still better priced on a basic breakfast than other places nearby. I wanted to try their eggs Benedict even though I've only ever had it maybe 2-3 times in my life! I'm not a good person to judge since I'm not really sure what hollandaise should taste like! It was more tangy tart than I expected. The eggs were cooked the way they should be and the ham was thick. In my memory, it should've had a stronger ham flavor, as I think Canadian bacon is the traditional meat and I was hoping for that. But even eating a piece of the thick ham by itself, I couldn't taste a salty smoked ham flavor. While I found that disappointing, I couldn't take a star away because visually it looked great, and I imagine a lot of people would love to see that thick slice of ham even if it is too mild! Don't judge it by my photo because I broke my yolks and stirred them up before I remembered to take a photo. The grits (my choice of side) were just like I like them. My husband got a 2 eggs breakfast with home fries (?) sausage and toast. It was a full plate of food and he enjoyed it. They have home made strawberry jam (yum!) and I will for sure get breakfast with toast or biscuits next time just so I can have some of that jam. I did put a little bit of jam on a couple bites of my English muffin from under my Benedict. The coffee mug was tall so my husband appreciated that; and the friendly & attentive server, Melissa, filled it before empty, as needed. We will be back "sooner than later" hopefully, because there's more I want to try on their menu. I do recommend going here for breakfast especially if you are an early bird or find yourself out and about very early for some reason like we were, and need a breakfast. I think they might get crowded quickly, so early is better. Note that their hours were not accurate on the iPhone maps app - I submitted correct hours and it's pending approval. However I used the website hours and one of their days I think it was Sunday - was showing closed at 1 but it's actually 1:30.

The meatloaf was very good and came with a bbq glaze and some bbq sauce on the two slices. The mashed potatoes are real, you can tell because they leave the skins on! My wife also had an order of the potato pancakes with applesauce. Those were fabulous! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, done beautifully. They also provide a small bowl of applesauce which was very good and we appreciated the amount. I had tow biscuits with gravy, two scrambled eggs, and hash browns. In my opinion, they have the best biscuits and gravy in the area. Gravy has plenty of flavor and the biscuits are soft and flaky on the inside, yum. Chasity was our server and she was fantastic! Got our order right, checked back to make sure everything was good, and offered good conversation.

I am updating my previous review, and unfortunately, this visit warrants a 2-star rating…read more This has always been our go-to spot for breakfast, but over the past few months--and especially now--things have clearly changed, and not for the better. We're now at the point where we're questioning whether we will return. Since the head chef is no longer there, it's very noticeable that the kitchen has been impacted. The quality, taste, and speed of the food have all declined. Even more concerning is the lack of professionalism you can now see coming out of the kitchen--it's disappointing. What made this visit even more surprising is that this was during a special holiday, and the restaurant was not busy. Given that, there is no reason service and food should have taken as long as it did, or come out with such poor quality and lack of execution. The General Manager needs to take stronger control--not just of the kitchen, but also of the service team's attitude and overall execution. There are a couple of servers who consistently do an excellent job--Franklin being one of them. He gets it right every single time, even with special requests, and truly stands out. Unfortunately, that was not our experience today. Our server, Sheyly, took our order and we made a simple request to have our French toast held until after our main dishes. Her response of "I'll try" was not reassuring, and she walked away without confirming anything. We then waited over 30 minutes for our food, only to hear our server yell to the kitchen to "hold the French toast"--which clearly came too late. The French toast was brought out before our main dishes, with no acknowledgment or concern for the mistake. When our main dishes finally arrived, the presentation was poor and the portions were noticeably smaller than what we've experienced before. While there may have been issues with the previous head chef, one thing that was always consistent was the quality and execution coming out of the kitchen--and that consistency is now gone. We truly hope that the GM or someone within the organization takes the time to read this and make the necessary changes, because this place used to be something special. Prev Review ; Nice place for breakfast but some of the waitress need some training. The chef and team are always on point.
