Great pizza. Now I know why they are rated the way they are. Great guest service and atmosphere. The music selection is perfect for the setting. Staff was very inviting and perceptive of our needs. We were visiting from NC and our son wanted to stay back and order pizza from a national chain. We tried to convince him to come but as a teenager they often need to learn by natural consequences. Well... the national chain directed us to the wrong store and didn't tell us until after they started the delivery so they cancelled the order. The staff must have overheard my conversation with my wife when she said "we will just get him a better pizza from here" because before I could finish ordering they were already working the pizza. Plus he got his favorite mozzarella sticks. He gave the pizza 10 stars out of 5. I would highly recommend this place. read more

The pizza at Stunod's is probably the better pizza in the neighborhood. Our son loves their pasta, ravioli, and spaghetti. The crust is awesome! The ingredients are fresh, and the sauce is savory! Overall the pizza experience is amazing! However, one change they've recently made is that they've added a 3% fee to card payments. This is possibly the only reason they're not getting 5 stars from me. Ordering pizza after a long day's work shouldn't have a fee attached. read more

Ordered half mushroom and half sausage. The best pizza on the Southside. Well there are different styles. Depends what style you feel like. So fortunate to have Stunod's in our neighborhood. I was so busy scarfing the pizza down didn't take a picture. The crust is phenomenal. Sauce perfect. Sausage excellent taste. Everything is fresh. It's very filling. The portions are generous. This place is close to my house so I will definitely be going back. One of the best tasting pizzas in the area. So, try to follow this...On 6/12 I ordered two giant breaded steak sandwiches with an order of onion rings from Stunod's with their online app Slice, so this is really 2 reviews. For Stunod's, the sandwich was one of the better I've had, big chunk of steak with marinara, cheese and peppers. The rings were nice and chunky. 5 stars***** For Slice app- the above order totaled up to 45.99-24$ for two sandwiches, 6$ for rings, the rest tip, delivery charge, taxes, etc. Trouble is i only got one sandwich! I blame the app for not conveying the correct order so I contact them and they refund me for one sandwich. So in the end, I end up paying 33$ and change for 1 sandwich and rings. So don't use the app for delivery, pick it up yourself. read more

Lack of cheese in the calzone wing breading was a bit soggy, onion rings was great super crispy, cheese stick breading was overly salty, and Baked cheese ravioli was okay nothing special and honestly think that was frozen not fresh, and for the cheese burger not enough patty for the big bun they give you it mostly just bread. read more

So many really good pizza places around and this is not one. Deep-ish Pizza consisted of stewed tomato's (topping/ see picture) out of a can as you could taste that metal taste from the can. Really no sauce at all on the pizza at all and large bubbles on the top. The large bubbles usually mean the dough was not prepared properly. My wife and I went to Stunod's for the first time. First sticker shock hit us but we will be back. We both enjoyed our pizzas immensely. No flavor jumped out as dominating the others. Now to figure away to transport pizzas 7 miles and not getting the crust soggy. This is a small store front Pizzaria will no parking lot and relying on available street spots. We managed to eat inside and watch the operation of the staff in this small space. Clockwork. Large orders (9 pies) did not throw them into a panic and still made small orders a priority. When I'm in the mood for pizza I'm willing to go out of my way for the good stuff which is why I drove from my house in Lagrange Park to Clearing for Stunod's tonight. Sure there are a dozen pizza places happy to bring pizza to my house but I'd rather drive 20 minutes for really good pizza. Stunod's is one of the better examples of a Chicago tavern pizza that I've had in recent years. The crust is nice and chewy and has an artisanal feel. The sauce was high quality too-it was bright and acidic and had a nice tomato flavor. The cheese was perfectly caramelized and the sausage and mushrooms were high quality. We also got a side of meatballs and arancini. The meatballs were very good. We wouldn't order the arancini again. read more

I can not tell you how many places disappoint me when I ask for well done fries, but Stunods did not! They were perfect! I used to go to D'anardos back in the day because I'm from the area but Stunod's blows d'anardos out of the water. I always get the breaded steak sandwich with a bunch of hot peppers and it hits the spot every time. The regular size fills me up but if you're feelin a little crazy try and smack the king size. They also just got new fresh cut fries that are simple and delicious. Glad to see a good restaurant open up in midway so close to my house.
