I am new to the area so I messaged this business asking if they had availability for a lash refill, and specifically if they could refill lashes from other businesses. They messaged that they could accommodate me. I was excited because they messaged me back so fast and I saw a lot of good reviews. However, when I got there they told me that they don't refill lashes from others. I said that I didn't understand why they told me to come in because I messaged them specifically asking if that was allowed. They proceeded to tell me that they could only accommodate me if I paid $100 for a removal and a new set. Su then scolded me for not asking the price. I tried explaining that I was shocked because I usually only pay $55 for a refill. Then she was very condescending and told me that in Hermosa Beach, nothing is priced like that. She lowered the price to $88, for no removal just a refill and I was confused because she told me before that all the lashes needed to be removed. The business also texted me saying that parking was free but I ended up having to pay. The directions were confusing because there are two level 2's. I understand that the cost of living is very high and shops have policies but I felt like this was an attempt to take advantage of me. If I had known that the lashes I had were going to be removed I would have waited longer, it is ridiculous to pay $100 for a 2 week refill. I am including the messages with this business owner and I hope that this is an opportunity for this business to improve their customer service.

Su was so flexible with scheduling and even let me pick the lash tech I wanted ! After seeing the reviews I really wanted to book with Kelsey. She was super friendly and we connected over a great conversation :) The place is located inside the building upstairs in a salon. It was very clean and cute. They have a first time promotion for $88, so worth it!! Kelsey did an AMAZINGG job on my lashes I am so happy with them!! I went to a festival with them and even got them wet within 24 hours but none have fallen out so far and still looks great!!!

I love my lashes! Su did an amazing job! Ford time ever getting lashes done so at first it took me a second to get used to it. They're so cute! I asked for cat eye but my eyes are round and they go downward.

Margarita was the lash tech who did my lashes. She was super gentle and so nice. It was a calm relaxing vibe in there. When I reached out, I did asked if they had lash glue/products for sensitive eyes. The glue didn't burn or irritate my eyes at all. Everyone was kind and very knowledgeable. DO NOT go to this place. 1. They make it very annoying to book appointments (have to create an account and book). 2. I went and the appointment took 45 minutes and they realized that they used the wrong sized curler for my eyelashes so my eyelashes did not lift. They proceeded to process my eyelashes again for 20 minutes, nothing happened again... so they told me to come back the next day. 3. I went back the next day and had a new lady, that curled my eyelashes again for 45 minutes. In the middle of my treatment my eyes started burning from the keratin. 4. After the treatment, I asked for a discount because they made me come back twice and clearly I had a terrible experience. They said they don't do that, so I paid full price and left pissed off. read more

She drew them in first so I knew what I was getting, she made great recommendations and I felt totally comfortable with through the whole process. She's very knowledgeable which I felt was half the battle. Highly recommend her for any lash or brow work you want done. read more

My daughter and I wanted to get Lash Lift/Tint on a whim and found this place on Yelp. Located across from Valley Park in Hermosa, parking was pretty easy for a Saturday. We were greeted by Su and her cute dog Yoki. She recommended lash extensions (mine are pretty short) and so happy she did! They look fantastic and very natural. This is perfect for me as I can now throw on lipstick and GO! Mascara days are gone. such a great find and close to home read more

It was my first time experiencing different lash place so I was researching lot of reviews and photos found this place Overall I really love my lash from Kelsey The appointment I made was with first customer service but the style I wanted was wispy style which is not included on the options ( only classic and hybrid ) , I also had different shop lash on my lash that was like all gone expect for few left but they didn't charged for that part because I didn't expect different style + remove will be over $160 so I really appreciated about that part ! Remove + lash extensions started at 11:30 ended up over 2 which was pretty long for me but could tell Kelsey wasn't rushing being professional and I also found out and always felt the lash place I been in past wasn't doing in right way that it fall out fast , felt like it's poking my eyelids all the time but now it's been few days with lash from Kelsey which feel like I have no extensions which my eye feel really light lash is still good not falling out ! I also got free eyelash shampoo and tools which is so thankful for all the services they done for me definitely gonna go back to this place read more

I was the last to receive service as I had the simplest treatment: a classic manicure. The woman was very rough and in addition to her roughness of scraping my nails, her own fingernails often dug into my fingers as she worked. (I think she was the owner as she answered the phone several times while doing my nails). Then she cut my cuticle on my thumb so deep it was bleeding and wouldn't stop. I only hope the instruments were sterilized. The area still hurts two days later. I should have stopped her and did my nails myself which I generally do. Not the enjoyable experience I expected. And the polishing job was so bad, bubbles formed. Complete waste of time and money, leaving me with pain and a mediocre manicure.

I have been getting my lashes done professionally for a long time and there is nobody better than Su! she is SO GOOD my lashes last almost a month sometimes. She is so kind positive and generous. They actually hurt, and a week later they still don't look right. One eye has shed almost completely while the other is still full, so they're uneven and look worse over time. After two days of trying to reach someone, I finally spoke with the owner, Yvonne, who offered to remove them. I clearly said I did not want Sophie to touch my lashes again. When I arrived, Sophie was the one assigned to remove them anyway. I declined and left. What made this even more uncomfortable was being pressured to leave a review before I even left my original appointment. Sophie handed me a QR code and insisted I write it on the spot, standing over me while I did it. It didn't feel optional, and it wasn't an honest review. Based on my experience, I would not trust the reviews here or return.
