We only got three dishes and they kept us waiting for an hour I simply don't understand why

We were seriously overcharged. Two people had 4 courses, we got charged 90 dollar. Courses on the paper on the wall is not priced clearly. When we ordered, they didn't remind us how expensive their duck is. over 30 dollar just for the duck. Adding tips we paid over 100 for a dinner. I suspect that they would have food health problems as well. Their bathroom is directly connected with their open food storage room. The food like the processed duck or chicken or some white powder were exposed outside...next to the bathroom. For the same money, we would go to an up scale French restaurant nearby. Plus their food is just okay tasting. Please don't come here, be aware. read more

I called at 11:04am to place an order for sour and spicy noodles. The person who picked up the call received my order and told me the price of my order. After 10 minutes, I arrived there and the person who picked up the call told me my order was not ready. Then I had waited outside the store for 10 minutes. The person came out and told me I needed to wait for more minutes. I said ok and kept waiting outside. During the time, two women came into the store. They seem like they are friends of the owner. Then after 5 minutes I had been waiting, the person came out and told us the sour spicy noodles sold out because the two women inside got all the orders and they placed the order yesterday. Su Su refused to get me an order and asked me to order something else. How ridiculous it was!! If the two women had placed the order yesterday, why didn't they tell me when I called in? Tiny hole in the wall restaurant with glorious food. There's only three tables, of which one of them is taped together with duck tape. Susu serves classic Cantonese dishes made with care. The 台山撕鸡 (Tai mountain hand pulled chicken ?) was so good ! It's like sesame chicken and the veggies were well cooked too albeit a bit salty. We went here for the clay pot rice (C7) but we thought it was okay only. The 肠粉 (rice noodle rolls) were really good too !! read more

One argumentatively best restaurant in town bar none. I was so excited to show this place to my two friends since I moved into this pretty neighborhood of I-93 and Tufts Medical Center. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken and it was not good at all. It had absolutely no flavor and there was very little meat with a bunch of celery and carrots. First off, the food is really good. The food is always fresh and tasty. They KNOW how to cook. They even have authentic dishes that aren't on menu and some have to be pre-ordered. They sell gourmet dishes that you can't get anywhere else in Boston. Yum! The bad... it's small, and doesn't always run smoothly. Wanted to try this place out so decided to dine in. Walked in the restaurant and the guy that works there saw us but ignored us. We told him two people and then he pointed to a table telling us to sit without speaking a word or any greetings (like he is day dreaming). So we were the only customers that just sat down but he didn't bring us any tea, plates or anything and we had to walk up to get the menu. We were ready to order after 6 mins and flagged him over. He saw us but ignored us and then after a few more minutes we flagged again and he told us to wait. That's all because there were a party of 5 people that came in AFTER us and he was just serving those people the entire time. Those people were not ready to order but we were ready. He rather tell us to wait and decided to stand at that other table waiting for those people to look through the menu. It's ridiculous. After about 20 mins he still didn't come over to take our order even though we flagged him the 3rd time. So we eventually got up and left the place. Worse customer service like he didn't care to serve us just because we only have two people vs the other table have 5 people. The most ridiculous thing is in that 30 mins he did not speak one word to us at all. Never going back to this place and not to mention how disgusting and dirty the restaurant was inside. read more

I would say that this is one of the better authentic Chinese places in Boston. I liked that it's not right in Chinatown so it wasn't too hard getting parking. I ordered the "needle" noodles, which were amazing! I also ordered shrimp rice noodle. That was okay, a little sticky. The rice with spareribs was good but I would have preferred more sauce! they have the best steamed rice noodle in Boston!! Exactly what I remembered from eating it growing up in southern China. I do agree that they don't get everything right, because the owner/cook is very southern Chinese. If you are not a true Cantonese, the food can be hard to understand. I have eaten there with friends and families multiple times and keep coming back. They are the "cafe" style, street food. I am so glad that I don't have to go all the way to NYC to find true Cantonese any more. read more
