Submarina's ingredients are really very good, they have their own signature flavor the way some chain sandwich shops do. However, the execution on this one was lacking. Cheap on the proteins, like one slice of each meat. Not super impressive. The Flavor is still there tho so it has potential. Please improve on execution, or you're not doing your great ingredients justice.

Forget Jersey Mike's - This Submarina is My Go-To Lunch Spot! I work nearby and Submarina has become my absolute favorite lunch break escape. Their prices are unbeatable, especially compared to Jersey Mike's, and the ingredients always taste fresh. The bread is unbelievably soft, and the portions are generous - you definitely get your money's worth. I usually get the tuna or the meatball; those ones are very good. Shawn, the manager, is fantastic, and his whole team is always friendly and welcoming. I love that they take phone orders; it makes grabbing a quick and delicious lunch even easier. Highly recommend this Submarina!

The subs are always made fresh right in front of you, which is kinda fun to watch, and everything tastes really good and consistent every time. My favorite is just building a simple sub with whatever toppings I'm craving, and the bread actually makes it so goodsoft but still has that perfect texture. The workers are usually really chill and get your order done pretty fast, even when it's busy. It can get a little crowded during lunch hours, but it usually moves quick so it's not a big deal. And plus with a good ambiance inside, even when it's just, it's still enjoyable. Overall it's just a really solid spot when I want something quick, filling, and actually good.

On my first visit, the employees were so engrossed in watching Ice Age that they would actually stop making sandwiches to watch scenes from the movie. I thought it was just a one-time thing, but on my second visit, the same thing happened while the staff was watching Star Wars. They would pause their work to pay attention to what was happening on the screen instead of focusing on customers and food preparation. The employees also seem very inattentive and reluctant to interact with customers. It often feels like they're more interested in watching movies and collecting a paycheck than providing service. The food is good, but the customer experience suffers because the staff appears distracted, disengaged, and uninterested in doing their jobs. I'd gladly return for the sandwiches, but management needs pay more attention to what the employees are doing during their shifts. I can't imagine what happens in the back given this is how they act in front of people.

Up pops Capriotti's Sandwich Shop, and let me just say, the sandwich gods delivered!!! I walk in and Marvin greets me with a smile so bright I almost ordered dessert out of respect. He immediately starts tossing out recommendations like a deli sommelier, and I land on the American Wagyu Roast Beef. Friends... I ordered a medium. A MEDIUM!!! This thing showed up like it had been hitting the gym!!! I only made it halfway through because it was massive... not because I lacked commitment. It was juicy, packed with flavor, and absolutely crushed my sandwich craving!! On my way out, I saw Marvin crafting a "LARGE" 18-inch monster that looked less like lunch and more like a catering order for a Little League team. I'm convinced it could feed a family of four... or one very determined foodie with no plans for the afternoon. Would absolutely return the next time I'm in the area and in need of serious sandwich business!!

They got our order wrong and mixed up with another customer's order. When my husband went up to inform them, the other lady, not Arielle, took the sandwich and threw it away in a huff and told my husband dryly, his sandwich would be re-made. The other sandwiches were dry and bland. With service and food like this, it's getting harder and harder to support the high minimum wage and the tipping. I like to support food industry, but this type of service is makes not want to tip. What a disappointment

This 12-Inch Toasted Beast Just Executed My Sad Spinach & Nut Butter Smoothie Diet -- And I'm Not…read moreEven Pressing Charges Temecula, I rolled in a starving 6'4" disaster who's been choking down spinach-and-nut-butter smoothies like a hostage for weeks. Rockin' Jay's looked at my weak soul and said "bet" -- then saved it in the best way possible. Counter girl hit me with a smile so bright I almost reached for sunglasses. The entire all-female crew was straight beast-mode at the open sandwich bar, slinging subs like they were on a mission from the sandwich gods. Atmosphere? Spacious as hell, proper New York deli that moonlights as a 70s rock dive -- screaming reds and greens, green booths, wooden tables, tiled floors, the whole retro package you see in the pics. The playlist was gloriously all over the place in the best way -- Contemporary Christian one minute, 2019 pop bangers the next, basically spanning six decades of straight fire. "Listen to your heart" came on and I damn near did while they built my baby. Every single pick was gold though. I ordered the 12" Capicola & Provolone ($16.69). I yelled "the works -- no mustard, drown me in onions and olives." They dropped an absolute beast of a sandwich... and it came perfectly toasted straight out the gate the way it should be. No sad "can you toast this?" negotiation. Golden, crunchy bread that cracks like it owes you money. Meat stacked stupid high, provolone doing its melty thing, then they buried the whole thing under an avalanche of fresh, snapping shredded lettuce and threw in those glossy peppers on the side like a mic drop. This thing is ridiculously messy -- oil dripping, lettuce flying, pure delicious chaos in every bite. Pro tip: there's no napkin dispenser at the tables, so you gotta go full scavenger hunt by the self-serve soda machine to grab your own stack. Worth every greasy finger and napkin raid. It fed this giant for two meals and left me still full, slightly greasy, and weirdly emotional. My spinach smoothie PTSD? Cured. If your diet has been as depressing as mine, stop torturing yourself and drag your weak ass here immediately. Friendly as can be, killer vibe, and subs that actually deliver. Tell 'em the tall smoothie refugee sent you. I'm claiming a booth next week and bringing stretchy pants... and maybe my own napkin stash.

Further in, there's bar seating and a couple tables. Most of the tables are outside in their patio. The space has a very modern feel with a wine and draft beer list along with coffee bar options. On a Friday lunch rush (11:30am), there were quite a bit of people already sitting and eating. I ordered the hatch chile honey chicken sandwich ($16.32 after tax). Holy smokes, it was delicious! The baked pretzel bun was unlike any I've had before. Buttery and pillowy on the inside and a crisp exterior. The chicken was perfectly cooked and paired well with the chili honey, which was perfectly balanced without being too sweet or too spicy. The grilled onions added extra sweetness and richness that contrasted nicely with the fresh tomato, avocado, and lettuce. Together, it made the perfect sandwich! Definitely a spot worth checking out. The food tasted high quality, and I'll absolutely stop by again when I'm back in town.
