One friend ordered a Caesar salad with chicken and got a fruity vinaigrette instead. Another friend ordered a burger and they forgot the bacon. A third friend asked for his burger well-done, but it came out medium, also with no bacon. When he asked the server if it looked well-done, she said she didn't know what well-done looks like. He asked if she could get a new one so he wouldn't get sick, and she said she'd check with the kitchen. No apology. It took 25 minutes for the new burger to come out, and by then we had been there for over an hour and a half. When she finally brought it out, she asked if he wanted a box to take it home. Still no bacon on the burger. Also, no apology again. Overall, not a great experience. Will not be back.

I know what it's like behind the counter. I've put in thousands of hours at Jimmy John's and can count on one hand the number of times we ran out of bread. You know why? Because we had competent management. Managers who understood basic prep, who knew how to run a store, who didn't let the place fall apart daily. The fact that this keeps happening means one thing: the management at this location is either completely checked out or totally incompetent. You don't get to say you're "freaky fast" when customers are standing around for 30 minutes waiting on basic prep that should've been done hours earlier. At this point, walking by and not seeing a "We're out of bread" sign feels like a miracle. If I'm this frustrated only showing up a couple times a year, I can't imagine how fed up regular customers must be.
