They gave me a $5.99 coupon on any footlong for last Thursday thru Sunday excluding avocado. I used it twice. The employees were clean, friendly and fairly quick, even with a few people in the line. I've never written a review before, but I had to write a review for this location. I did a pick up order with a Diet Coke fountain drink, and a bag of hot Cheetos. I came to pick up my order and the guy in the front told me the soda machine wasn't working. That is no problem, I asked him if he could refund me for the drink and I could just pay the difference for the drink bottle. He said he couldn't do that for me and that next time that I came, he would give me a free drink. I was in Burbank just for the day. I don't typically work here. I asked for a refund again and he said no then he said he couldn't accommodate me for a bottle drink because the bottle drinks are very expensive. I had asked previously to pay for the difference. Came here in between appointments since we had about an hour to kill. We were greeted with a friendly "Welcome to Subway!" upon entering which I liked because some Subways don't do this anymore. We reviewed the menu board and made our decisions. We both ordered six inch sandwiches one was a cold cut trio and the other was the chicken breast. The lettuce didn't look too green so I just opted for the spinach thus minus the one star. All the other vegetables were fresh and crisp. They did offer to make it a meal but we declined. The sandwiches were soft and filled our bellies! The store itself was clean as they had a staff member mopping, cleaning the tables, and checking the restrooms. Parking was easy in this strip mall. This is by far one of the best subways I've ever been to. Every single detail was attended to. When I walked in I was immediately greeted and welcome to Subway. They helped me immediately and they were all smiles the entire time. I was helped specifically by Andy, very nice kid, extremely friendly, & a very good representation of Subway. I usually get the flat bread, and I don't think that anyone has ever previously warmed it up before making the sandwich. hear, they they made a specific point to microwave the bread prior to making it even though I wasn't having it toasted. the portion sizes were pretty good - your average subway in that regard. But, what's going to keep me coming back over and over is the great customer service. The place primarily had younger people working, and very often there can be a lack of customer service or really caring for their job. NEVER order for delivery from this SUB-par restaurant. Easily the worst Subway sandwich I've ever received. I ordered a 6-inch Chicken Bacon Ranch Melt with provolone, lettuce, tomato and black olives. There was... - NO RANCH - NO BLACK OLIVES - minimal super thin bacon - barely any lettuce - 1 1/2 small slices of tomato - they did get chicken and provolone on the sandwich -- 2 out of 7 sucks!! NEVER order for delivery from this SUB-par restaurant. If you want a halfway decent sandwich go into the location and watch the "technicians" like a hawk so they don't short change you on the ingredients. The entire staff working on Saturday the 3rd of November, 2018 should be fired or at the very minimum reprimanded and put through training again. Very rude staff! Would never go to this location ever again! Whoever runs it is very cheap. Every other subway gives you a drink cookie and chips with the value meal of the day this one won't. It's your typical subway. In a two level early 90's corner strip mall. Parking completely blows. There is a parking lot underground but it's hard to see the entrance to it (on verdugo). The sandwich artist are real weirdos. Kinda slow and interact with each other in front of the customers. It's rude. They make up for the rudeness by seriously loading my sandwich up. I'm a frequent Subway customer. The food is pretty consistent, so my rating is based primarily on the location and their service, compared to other Subway stores. Anyhow... as Subway franchises go, this one really seems to get it right. Employees are friendly and greet you when you walk in. The store is scrupulously clean and actually has a decent amount of seating. They always get my order right, the chips are always stocked, and even the bathroom is well-maintained. As a result, this location has become my favorite, even though it's not the closest. Parking can indeed be somewhat of a challenge. If you're coming up Verdugo, you can use the underground lot. If you're coming from Glenoaks you can either go west on Verdugo (toward the freeway) and go underground, or hope for a spot in the aboveground lot off Glenoaks. Note, though, that you can only turn right upon leaving, so you'd better want to go that direction. read more

My wife and I went to this subway. It's about 3 blocks from our house. I use to eat subway 3 to 4 times a week. On a Saturday we went there. I usually get turkey. I decided to try a different sandwich. It was a special they had going for pork.. I got a foot long and about 3 bites in,,, there was a HAIR.. then when I tried pulling the hair out.. it turned out to be a Clump of hair.. I'm no lying or making this up.. there was like 50 hairs all mixed in with the meat. I was so mad. I showed the guy and he just gave me back my money for the sandwich and that was it. I couldn't believe. He didn't offer to pay for my wife's sandwich or give us a discount card or something. Be the way, we got the sandwich there and sat down there to eat them. So there's no way I could have put the clump of hairs in the meat. It upset me so much, I haven't eaten at a subway since. I should have sued them. Obviously someone did that in purse or something. My on-the-go alternative to Mc Donald's. The line is never too bad, usually in and out pretty quickly (unless I have a picky person in front of me!). I like to specify that I'm not toasting my sandwich to get extra soft and fresh bread and I also like to have the mayo smeared around a bit so it's not all in one blob in the middle (which can sometimes happen!) This is a review for all subways pretty much. The food is pretty good and so are the prices, but the service really sucks. Every time I go to subway the workers are always very rude-no matter which subway I go to. (I've tried all subways in my town) And whenever I ask for the veggies they always give very little and I always have to ask for extra like 5 times! :/ It's always like it hurts them to give us more. Like they are the ones paying for it or something! Also, the workers always rush and I have to tell them a million times my order because they either don't listen or don't care. So all in all, my experiences have not been the greatest and I would rather spend a few extra bucks and eat at a decent place like Togo's. read more
