The employee who works the morning shifts, I believe his name is Rolando, always makes my sandwiches with a smile. He consistently ensures they're made to perfection. The ingredients are always fresh and tasty, and the bread is freshly baked. I normally don't go to Subway, but when I do, this is one of my preferred locations. Parking can get a bit tight, especially during lunch. The inside of the restaurant has a cozy vibe and offers a few tables for dine-in. Servers at this subway station are usually nice. The circle K in this shopping center is always nice to me. Today the lady making my turkey festive wrap Was plain unfriendly and uncaring. I come here so often and usually during the afternoon. I'm usually helped by the same girl and she is super nice. But today, I came into the store in the AM and was helped by this women and unfriendly older man. The women seemed to be new and she was making my sandwhich just fine! This review is solely for their customer service because I couldn't tell you much about the food since they turned away my business. After a wonderful hike at Stoney Point which is just a few minutes up the street I got hungry and this was the closest food place. Now, I had my service dog with me and it was a hot day so I didn't want to leave him in the car. He also had his service dog vest so I figured it would be ok to bring him down but boy was I wrong. I walk in and there is only two people in there working on their sandwiches and as soon as I walk in the girl behind the counter says there are no dogs allowed. Thinking she didn't see his vest I continued to walk in and she stopped me again and said they don't allow dogs in this establishment. I told the girl my dog is a service dog and he had his best and still turned me away. So wrong on so many levels but I decided to be the bigger person and leave and not cause a scene. The parking lot here is kind of small and is shared with a few other small businesses, so depending on what time you come, parking can be a bit of a hassle. The employees that work here are usually never the same. The two employees that helped me out were fine...made my sandwich, got me in and out with very little enthusiasm or conversation besides their normal "welcome to subway, what can we get for you?" I got their limited time footlong smokehouse bbq chicken sandwich for $6. It was ok...nothing special, just like all their other sandwiches, but it does get the job done. Can we talk about Steven!!! First of all this is the nicest subway employee I have ever met. He is approachable and kind. I love that he make small talk and asks you about your day... it makes getting a sandwich so much more enjoyable (as silly as that sounds)... sometimes getting lunch is a task or a chore but I look forward to seeing Steven. I've been coming to this particular subway for years. This is my first opportunity to write a review. This subway has always been great but since the new ownership awhile back it's been exponentially improved. From the looks of the place to the individual employees that have provided service, the facilities are improved. For the most part my sandwiches gets made by the same person. It's a great atmosphere for anyone whether your in the rush of lunch or leisurely enjoying your Sunday. I don't get the negativity toward this place, I've always been greeted, offered suggestions for my sandwiches, they have even made accommodations of some specifics I had such as adding onions before they put my sandwich in the oven to bake. It's great service and even if it is out of my route, I would go to this subway. To me the best part is that everything looks clean. Cleanliness is important to me and this particular Subway delivers just that. I really wish that the loads of people that eat at this Subway had a Yelp account and reviewed this location. I don't understand the negative comments...why such low ratings? It's subway, not a freakin' 5 star restaurant in Paris. If you're expecting extravagant sandwiches and kiss ass customer service, then make the drive down to Ventura and pay $15 for a sub. I have been there twice, two consecutive weekdays during their lunch rush and I didn't have a problem with anything. Sure it took slightly longer for me to order than usual but I wasn't in a rush so I didn't care about the wait. There were at least 4 employees making subs and I believe it was the manager who was ringing us up. He was very nice about trying to get me the best deal. I ordered a footlong, a 6 inch, a drink, and two soups and my total was roughly around $14. Pretty decent for the amount of food we had. Parking is bad in this small strip mall at the corner of lassen and topanga. There were two young ladies working today and the service was fast. The sandwich was consistent with all the other places I've been to. Had the Black Forest ham sandwich today and it was fairly good... Not as much flavor as I wanted, but it was okay. I said I have used the app but I don't like it that much because they don't give you a lot of options and the employee stated I can use the app to get points and pay! This particular location is THE WORST for a few reasons... and, I've given them a few chances to prove differently. I always order a tuna salad with spinach, no lettuce. These guys are so stingy with the spinach you have to ask 3x for "more spinach" to get a normal size salad... not a large salad... a salad larger than very small. The manger made my salad once and he said to me "I've put twice as much in as when I started, are you satisfied?" when I kept asking for more spinach and he kept only putting 3 more pieces in...
