Racism condoned / entertained here!! I just had an awful experience here! I met the hall decorator at this Subway to review & sign the contract for my daughter's quinceaneara! It so happens that the Decorator's primary language is Spanish and we were discussing the details in Spanish. I purchased a sandwich and proceed with the discussing the details at our table. An employee approached us and asked me "How much longer are you going to be here?" I said "not much longer, why?" She said, "no reason I just want to know!" I let it go and continued discussing. 5 minutes later, she comes back to ask me again. "How much longer are you going to be here!" I asked her why? She said "it's because customers are complaining." I asked her about what? She said "I don't want to say!" I asked her "is this typical for you to ask a paying customer when they're going to leave?" She said, nevermind I'll just tell them! Very clean store and the whole staff is super friendly and accomodating. Had to place 32 different lunch orders daily for 4 days and it worked out great! It was also super helpful that they only asked for a 24 hr notice for large orders (just so they could make sure that they had appropriate staffing). read more

The Subway to go to before our giant hike. We got here in the morning around 10 or so and walked into the place with no one there. I guess its not so busy at 10am on a saturday. Luckily a few minutes later after all the commotion 2 people came out to help. Nothing bad i can say about Subway. They were quick, clean and did a good job with my sandwich. Excellent service and food is delicious as usual. I've been coming here for many years, always pleasant good dining experience. People that complain just need to be more patient with some of the new people that are working. But you don't need to go onto Yelp and give them a bad rating. And one bad rating can really hurt a business. How about you go in and talk to the manager? And politely tell him about your dissatisfaction? Wow there's something new to try to go in and actually have some conversation with the people that work in our communities before blasted them. Too many Fly off the handle because they're having some crappy day that they bring on themselves. Then they go online like countless number of other people and give out these crappy ratings just because they didn't have a perfect experience. It's totally ridiculous and I am tired of seeing that. I just don't understand how these people can go on yelp and say stuff like "this person talked to me in the wrong tone" or that person had a bad attitude, and then go on line and give them a one or two star rating on yelp. I ordered 4 trays on Wed morning to be picked up on Thursday evening. The manager took the order and my money and assured me they would be ready. When i came in to pick up the manager was not in and the two girls working had no idea about my order. After a few phone calls they apologize for the over sight. By this point i am now 20 minutes late with my sandwiches!! They were speedy in making up 2 trays. I left to deliver the 2 and my husband went back to get the other 2 trays. The manger (unfortunately i don't know her name but she does have lots of tattoos) is at fault here. If i could give her a bad review and the girls who busted out my trays a great review i would! I would get it if they were busy but there was no one in the store there's no reason for this disgusting service. Not a bad subway, clean restaurant and friendly staff. All in all it's what you expect from a subway. Sarah was very helpful. One of my biggest pet peeves when going out to places like Subway is that often the person making my food will see that I'm a small girl and will not give me as much food. But Sarah from this location put as much into my boyfriend's sandwich as she did mine which is rare and much appreciated. Overall this was one of my favorite Subway experiences. read more

I will never ever go here again. The supervisor is really nice, but that is where the positives stop. The food does not taste like other Subway restaurants, meatball is soggy & tastes funny. I was double charged for a sandwich & the hassle I had to go through to get my own money back was obscene. I called 3 times & was told only the owner could assist me. The hours she was available didn't work with my schedule. I had to send an email to corporate to get s response. My husband spoke to her & she said she would put an envelope with $5.46 in register for him, LIE! We stop by to quickly pick up on way home from work. There was nothing quick about it. First the sweet supervisor had to call the manager who instructed her to give my husband $4.94. He comes back to Car disgusted & just ready for this to be over. I went back in with the picture showing the TWO CHARGES for $5.46. Supervisor has to text manager or owner. Supervisor says "ok" and takes the $.52 from her tip jar. I said "I hope you get that back." She said she couldn't open drawer. Worst Subway I've e we been to. I will drive to La Verne Subway for every Subway fix I ever need. La verne Subway is delicious & has never overcharged. Go somewhere else. This place is gross & shady. read more

When you get a new sandwich maker here, expect to wait 15 minutes for it to be made. They probably under train their people here. I got a steak Vera Cruz, and they refused to toast the sandwich (flatbread type) before I even asked. Then ingredients were being put on without asking me first, so I am disappointed with this locations performance. This not toasting flatbread policy sounds like a lie, but if not, the management needs to pull their heads out of their holes. I do not recommend this location, rather prefer the one on Garey in Pomona. read more

There always seems to be something wrong with this Subway. Either it's always dirty (tables aren't wiped down, crap all over the floor, etc), or the Ice Machine is out of ice. The staff really doesn't care, but then again I don't blame them because there's no pride of ownership. The one on Arrow and Monte Vista is much cleaner and efficient. read more

When I visited this location at app. 2 p.m. on August 29, 2020, it was clear that the person serving me couldn't hear much of what I was saying (since he asked me to repeat myself many times), and I couldn't hear him much of the time either. This resulted in a protracted, and aggravating, ordering experience that I pointed out could have gone much more smoothly. The giant wall of plastic completely separating customers from servers largely blocks the transmission of sound. Coupled with our all having to wear masks and things like the loud refrigerator and annoyingly loud radio, it's a wonder that any orders can be taken there. When I complained about this to Sarah, apparently a manager working at the time, her response was that she didn't agree that the radio was too loud and that all the other customers could hear the servers. Her response obviously raises an important question: is it appropriate for her to argue with me, a customer complaining that he can't hear the server because of all of these negative factors, including the radio? Or should she have simply lowered the radio, the one factor she could have controlled, at least while I was there, in order for me not to have such an aggravating experience? I believe most people would say the latter. If I were hearing-impaired, would that not mean that Subway discriminates against the hearing-impaired? Sarah could not possibly have known whether I was hearing-impaired, but clearly and unashamedly was saying that, because (according to her) other customers could hear everything, my complaint wasn't valid and she had the right to ignore it. I obviously don't agree. Subway should not discriminate against any of its customers. Sarah is obnoxious and belligerent, has very poor judgement, and should not be working directly with customers. I was there for a late lunch at about 4pm... this isn't my usual Subway I like to eat at but it was on the way to work and in the better part of town. That was my first mistake to assume it would be better. They were all out of bread except for white and wheat!! I have never experienced that before and was very disappointed.The staff was snobby ( I was in Claremont ) and she was skimpy on the veggies!! Except for the snobby part, its probably the managements fault for training them to skimp on veggies and not having bread ready... but I hate it and I wont be back there to that location if I can help it. The employees are extremely friendly even during a rush. Everything seems to be really fresh compared to other subways I've been too. My bread wasn't stale. It's a lovely place and I would recommend coming here rather than any other subway I've ever been too. Makes me love subway again. read more

Worst subway! Went in there, ordered 3 footlong. Another customer walk in shortly with express order. The subway crew member stop making our sandwich, left it out open half way done and started to make the other customer's sandwich. There was no other customer in line, the crew member could have finish our sandwich then make the other customer's sandwich, or have the other crew help. After 10 min of waiting, We ended up leaving! Adelina was my sandwich "artist", and upon ordering she asked me to wait a second.. thinking she had a task to do, I waited.. but Adelina didn't have a task, I watched her pick up her phone and start calling for people to cover her because she "felt sick". (The second worker was on break) when she came back she proceeded to tell me how she felt sick and that she's angry because the manager was making her be there while sick. (She looked perfectly okay to me).. overall it took about 15-18 minutes for her to make me a turkey sandwich, not even toasted or fancy. I've noticed that multiple times I've come in Adelina is on her phone texting or calling people, leaving another worker to work by themselves, often when there is a long line.. Super whatever about the quantity. You know how you get those cases of bread butt where the ends of the sandwich are just pure chunks of bread due to lack of coverage by the fillings? If I could give this restaurant a zero I would. The staff were argumentative and rude. I placed an order on my app to allegedly save time. I was still required to stand in line not only to pick up the sandwich, but to pay for it. It was my first time using the app and I thought I had ordered a combo (as it turns out it was the sandwich only). Fine, I'll just go ahead and pay the fee to upgrade to a combo. Staff at restaurant, "we can't do that as you already paid for the sandwich." We have to charge you the full price for the two items individually. Granted it was only an additional .60, but it was the principal of the matter. Also, my sandwich was stale. The flatbread was so tough you could hardly chew it.
