Last summer went there for a sandwich. AC broken. All vegetables wilted. I went there today, great AC working but again one side had fresh vegetables, one side old, wilted vegetables including the pickles and olives. It's gross! Been going here for years. About two weeks ago ordered two sandwiches again. Once again the lettuce was "rusted" and not fresh. The person put 6 thinly micro sliced pieces of ham on a footlong. When I saw this, I asked if he got the amount of meat wrong and was told no. He pointed to list that was posted on his side of the sandwich platform. I was also told there is no longer a senior discount. If you want a bread and vegetable sandwich with rusted lettuce(and this isn't the first time sadly), this is the place to go. I go to this Subway frequently because it's conveniently located between a Stater Brothers and an ice cream place that I also go to. This location has always been impeccably clean when I go and the service is great. Heather usually serves me and she has a smile on her face and is very patient with the order, even when it's complicated. The ingredients look fresh and are kept neat. I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this place. I always stop here before I hike Mt. Baldy as it's at the base of the 210 freeway. I hike Mt. Baldy pretty often but I always forget to bring a sizable lunch. So sometimes I'll stop by here, eat half an Spicy Italian sub and then save the other half for the top of the mountain. Service has always been prompt, and they always open early. Except I have encountered one employee who wasn't too friendly, the majority of the time I've come the employees were great. read more
