Service was great! The good was really good! But...they were out of so many things. Roast beef, brisket, cheeses, and lots of veggies. The poor employee had to serve my order without a bag, because they were out of those too. They did have napkins but not subway brand. When asked the employee said they were on a budget. Thursday night I pick up dinner for my boys due to me being sick. We get 2 meals, first of all $30 is ridiculous considering they forgot cheese. My absolute favorite "fast food" restaurant has gone to absolute crap. They skim on everything. You pay more and get hardly anything on your sandwiches. It's not even worth it anymore. The customer service here is laughable. So is the sandwich making skill level of whomever it was that made my sandwich. I went through the drive-thru and ordered a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on White. It truly doesn't get much simpler than this order - with NO added ingredients. Imagine my surprise when I arrived home, and found that my sandwich was nothing but bread, and three strips of bacon. I actually began laughing as I explained to my significant other that there are no eggs or cheese on my bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. Once I was able to stop the hysterical laughter and catch my breath, I called Subway and explained the situation, expecting them to offer me a new sandwich and have it ready upon my return. NOPE! I was told "The manager is the only one that can help you with this situation, and they have already left for the day," I told the girl nicely that all I wanted was to bring her my uneaten sandwich, and obtain a new sandwich that actually had eggs on it, since that is what I paid for. She told me that the manager would be back in on Monday morning (this occurred on a Friday evening) and I should "save the sandwich in a plastic bag"" so the manager could see it on Monday. When I asked if they could just make me a new sandwich, the girl said that she's really sorry, but she isn't allowed to do that. So I asked her if she could make the eggs and cheese, and put them on the sandwich I had. She said no, but I am welcome to "eat the sandwich I already have. I explained I would happily eat my sandwich if I had an actual sandwich to eat, and not just a few strips of bacon on some bread. I emailed subway corporate who attempted to fix the situation by giving us two free sandwiches from the SAME store. Unfortunately she wanted me to use the email response as the way to obtain the sandwiches (she said to print it out and take it in.) The email obviously looked like a complaint and not a coupon of some sort, so I asked if we could use it at a different store instead since it seems a bit embarrassing to go into a store with this email, which pretty much says "Hi, I am the jerk who complained about you....please spit in my food when I am not looking." However, we opted to use it anyway via the drive thru. Lo and Behold, I was given another sandwich with no eggs and no cheese - So I gave up. I used to work for the subway corporation when I was younger so I get how everything runs. So I was extremely upset and frustrated when I ordered my sandwich. I tried to order it online and I wasn't able to. So I called the store and I knew exactly what I wanted and how it was done. I asked for Italian herb and cheese tuna footlong and all the veggies except green peppers and jalapeños and extra cucumbers and olives and pickles and I wanted it toasted. I went straight to work and went to eat my sandwich and saw it was absolutely incorrect. Sandwich was on wheat which I don't like it was not toasted and they put jalapeños and extra green peppers on my sandwich. I didn't have time to call and complain because what the point of calling if they can't do a correct job the first time plus this wasn't the first time this has happen but it will be the last I am completely done with this store read more

There's nothing special about subway in Dallas. The manager has an attitude problem and the sandwiches are often made quite sloppy. Last time i was there, an employee was stuffing her face within view of all the other customers. Very unprofessional to say the least. Definitely one of subways bottom end stores. read more

Gosh, I adore the evil Subway corporation in one critical aspect. They've outright GIVEN UP on selling their frozen franchise bread to the customers that matter. Literally, there's a line of people at Subway waiting in line to build trust and community with people, whilst at the same time telling the evil corporate stooges to go pound sand. Yes indeed, at my local subway restaurant they've got the ketogenic food that will keep us all alive and healthy, if we have that extra dollar compared to their $5 subway. It's the CHOPPED SALAD friends. Just as a decade or more ago there was a special menu at Wendy's for people who remember real food, before our cost and standard of living kept goin' down the drain. And well fellers, over there in Monmouth you can stop by next door and talk to Rick, who owns Rick's place. And both of us remember a simpler time growin up down on cran-apple creek, when you could just show up and pay the same price as corporate ass-bags for a delicious meal. Yes, I'll eat Subway, but these days it's with a heavy heart that I pick up my purchase, with the gravest reservations. To the extent you're addicted to the opiods in wheat, the mouth feel of fatty acids in real mayo, the right amount of salt in the right foods by traditional standards, the usual human feedback response from sugar carb, I recommend you turn away from the evil corporation and never look back. But, living in walking distance, and with their new chopped salads? I'd recommend you order TWO of the chopped chicken salads that contain two chicken lump patties. Explain to your friend behind the counter that you want both the exact same, that you want (Provolone? It's got more protein!) cheese, and you want it cold. When it's time for veggies, be sure and tell them that you want ALL the fresh vegetables and no lettuce. They'll give you a big old bed of fresh corporate franchise spinach on the bottom, then pile that mixing bowl full of the exact amount of fresh produce for each sandwich. I guarantee it, these people do their exact jobs, no exceptions, and would I ever lie to you? When it's time to ask after shakers and sauces, ask for extra pepper and oregano. I sometimes ask for the black olives bits, chemically treated to insure they remain black, with the flimsy excuse that they're a seasoning too. Have you tried eating real food, like real people should eat their food? Can you afford to eat real food that could keep you alive when the verifiable forecast here in Oregon is for BLACK RAIN lasting at least the next thousand years? Do you have five extra minutes, five extra dollars, or like me do you have two thumbs, one to stick out in the road and the other to shove up my (-SS?). Are you the elitist who will only eat organic? Bwah-ha-ha-ha. You can't possibly to eat ALL or MOSTLY organic, and ever since the rules of the road were laid down by our evil national government, every last pesticide and despicable additive has been defined as organic someplace where it can be farmed and shipped to you. Ah, but back to chopped salads. For those on the fence about a plant-based diet versus meat, it's just as well you consider your breast-ish chicken lumps to be meat. They're truly disgusting, but for the moment I'm OK with eating hundreds of chickens in each bite, possibly thousands. Saves me a few cents with each meal, and dollars and cents add up, know what I'm sayin? For those of you octo-lacto veterinarians, do us all a favor and add to animal misery by adding several slices of dairy pus and swill. Would I want cheese at the end? Nope, whatever the hell they left in the cheese shaker, best to skip it just this one time? Now, when it's time to consider sauces. Oh gosh, what's the best source of monoculture swill oil? Yup, every last one of them is freely available! How about a little plain oil? Hah hah, very funny. The first ingredient is (SWILL SOYBEAN) and the second ingredient (BASICALLY NONE ALREADY), is the FDA minimum for the second ingredient 10 percent, 49 percent, and need I remind the consumer that Subway has voluntarily disclosed their ingredients, not the percentages. But aren't you lucky, the second ingredient is extra virgin olive oil, and isn't that good. Not at Subway my friend, because the subcontractor of their supplier cuts it with other oils and flavor anyway. Ha, ha, the moment you get (ONE DROP) of swill oil you done lost much of your opportunity to replace the damaged fatty acids in your body with properly constituted ones. Yup, where it matters you can walk into any of their franchises and with labor and supplies the EVIL CORPORATION WILL PAY YOU TO EAT THERE. And then you get the chance to add an appropriate tip to the employees you care about (all of them), and to the nominal owner at the location (met her, she's my best friend in the Yelp world at the moment). ...
