Went today after leaving Big Bear. Place was clean and organized. Horrendous service. The guy spoke so incredibly low. I had to constantly ask him to repeat what he said. He was very short when I could hear what he said. I got drinks, and the soda/ice machine wasn't on and he watched us struggle with it until he finally turned it on. We bought multiple sandwiches and he didn't label any of them. So that was fun to try to figure out in the car. Drive a little further to a difference Subway would be my advice. After getting our sandwhich situation figured out in the car- there were many black hairs in my tuna sandwhich and my kid's sandwhich. My husband's sandwhich seems to have no hair. read more

Habibi #1 was throwing my meat around and calling me obnoxious in Arabic and didn't realize I understood him Habibi #2 was not following the directions. I really hate to start off the New Year with a bad review; but alas...sometimes it's unavoidable. So this subway is one of an emerging number of locations that's open 24/7. That, coupled with its location (in the Walmart plaza at the top of Highland Avenue near the 210 freeway and the 330 on the way to the mountains), is quite convenient. However, that's (mostly) where the positive vibes stop dead in their tracks. The wife and I were here yesterday hungry for dinner and we had a gift cart I had received for Xmas as well as a coupon from our local paper. We had begun placing our orders and they were being made when my wife mentiones she was using a coupon FROM SUBWAY for a 6" sub, chips and a drink for $6.99. The young man looks at us with this perplexed look on his face and points to the menu behind him and states "Here are the meal-deals we have". When we indicated that she wanted the deal that was on the coupon, both of the gentlemen looked at us confused and then said.. "We don't honor Subway coupons".. our mouths dropped open. Me: "But you're a Subway" Him: "Yes... but we don't honor the coupons.." Me: "Then why would the company feature coupons in paper if you're not going to honor them?!" Him: *nonchalant shrug of shoulders..* "Oh, those are put out by corporate. We're a franchise; we don't have to honor those..." Me: "Riiiiiight... so how are we to know if you're a corporate store or a franchise just by walking in?!" Him: "Oh well there's a sign out front that says we're a franchise so you can plainly see this...* Honestly, I have never had a more inane conversation with a food service worker in some time. The only reason we didn't just leave and go a mile away to the one on Boulder (that we KNOW accepts coupons) is because they were already halfway done with our order, and we were hungry. When we left with our orders, we scoured the signage out front for proof of what they had said. On their sign stating their ours in a little corner were the words "Proudly locally owned and operated"; NOT easily visible at all. Needless to say, we won't be ordering food from here again. I fail to see why they could not accept coupons FROM THEIR OWN COMPANY just because they were franchise shop. Now, if they had explained it like "Franchise store's computer systems are not compatible with the ones at corporate stores so we can't accept their coupons", that would have been a little better (though still sketchy, as almost every MacDonald's is a franchise store and they have no problems with such things.) They also could have included more informative signage on this. The only reason they got a 2nd Yelp star in this case was because the sandwiches were very tasty. But come on, Subway. You can do better than this. You're in the customer service business; lets do better at explaining things, shall we? read more

Came in with a coupon for 2 foot long for $13.99 and I guess he scanned my coupon and say it didn't work end up paying $27 like really? I walked in saying I have a coupon before I even ordered. don't come here late at night with a coupon your gonna pay double SMH! Best location for a subway, very convenient, with excellent customer service with nice small talk and made me feel good about my day, the owner was there and it was very nice talking to him as well, the business is well managed and well run the employees were in proper uniform and seemed very professional about everything they did, they intrested me in getting cookies and soup and add ons in the sandwich i usually wouldn't get, the breads were soft and were toasted to perfection, a very hygienic environment and overall an excellent experience in a very long time and the freshly sliced meats were amazing, I will be a regular customer from now.This store is the only 24hr subway in all of sanbernardino. I've been to this subway on the way back home from Big Bear. When I visited inside the employees greet us with a smile and was very nice and welcoming. This put a smile on our face. They told us about the best deals and sandwiches and what we can add on more to our sandwiches. They made some really tasty sandwiches. Not only the food was amazing and have amazing employees it was super clean too. We were super happy and amazed on the service and cleansiness they have given to us. My visit today was fast and very easy! The sandwich artist made the #30 The Beast was phenomenal! I'm glad they are now 24 hours which makes it convenient to finally have another food option late at night that's actually healthy!! I Will continue to keep coming back. I ordered a sandwich online and it took 47 minutes for them to complete my order. This happened twice in a row. Online orders get pushed to the side and forgotten. The server who was handling multiple orders didn't even know my order was there until I showed up at the restaurant and asked about it. The biggest problem is that the owner of this location needs to hire more employees. One person is handling all the orders during lunch hour and I am not surprised that online orders get pushed to the side. The sandwich was made in a hurry and didn't come out right. Too much of certain ingredients and not enough of others, and the bread was so soggy that I ended up throwing away half of it. read more

Horrible customer service and they take advantage of customers. I ordered a basic footlong roast beef sandwich, nothing special, and after I checked out, I noticed a discrepancy on the price. Menu says $10.99 and I was charged $13.99. I confronted the two workers after paying and reviewing my receipt and was told that they automatically charge for the "new menu" and for a deluxe garlic roast beef (which i did not order). I pointed to their POSTED menu to say that's not what your menu says and the guy continued to justify that "you should have said in the beginning you wanted from that menu" like how was I supposed to know they would up charge me for something I didn't order without TELLING me. I advised them that in the future they NEED TO TELL their customers and not assume we know of their unethical practices. The guy worker continued to justify saying that is just what they do now. Also I witnessed an interaction with a female customer before us and the girl worker told her "you need to tell us before next time". Same as I was told. That awkward interaction made me pay attention when it was my turn. I didn't realize it was the menu price they were manipulating. They took advantage of their customers and thankfully I could afford it but not everyone can, especially these days. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISHONEST BUSINESS. THEY'LL STEAL YOUR MONEY! The girls who were here at this location who helped us were nice. I asked if they had the footlong subs for $4.99 and she nicely said yes and told me which ones they had. We went ahead and ordered a spicy Italian and black Forrest ham footlong plus we made them into meals and I also got a cup of my favorite soup at Subway the broccoli cheddar. we went to subway this evening about 6:30 pm on 12/31/19 located at 4130 East Highland located in the Walmart shopping center. When we arrived the lady that was working was rude, disrespectful, and inappropriate. She had an attitude and it was clear that she did not want to be there or waiting on customers. It was so bad that we stopped trying to give her our order and left the store. I have not been treated so poorly before, it was shocking and not what I wanted for some of our last memories of 2019. Worst subway EVER and snotty employees. My husband placed an online order at 2:31pm. We heard the order ding and go through to their system. We placed a mobile order because there was a long line and it would've been ready sooner if we did mobile order so that's what we did. We ordered one footlong and a couple cookies. By 2:45 we asked them why they hadn't even started on it yet, and their response was to lie and say "ohh uhhhh.. we just got it now". No you didn't. We heard the order go through on your system. They didn't even START on our order until 2:55pm snd it was supposed to be ready by 2:50 pm and even the 2:50pm time was 20 minutes just for one sandwich. But they took even longer than that, and simply because they completed the entire long line they had in person before even beginning our order. That's not how mobile order works. You don't ignore it until you complete all your in person orders, because you'd never get to the mobile orders! Imagine if Starbucks took EVERYONE's order before even started mobile orders. This Subway place is hit and miss. Most of the women who work here have bad dismissive attitudes and don't listen or make excuses for why the can't make your sub exactly how you want it.
