    My mother is bedridden, puts herself on a lot of diet restrictions, and very demanding. So I was surprised when she had a sudden craving for a tuna sub from Subway! My dad and I often do a lot of traveling around town taking care of whatever requests she has on her list. But to my pleasant surprise, I discovered that this Subway was located a short drive down the street from my parent's house! As we arrived, my dad (who is under a great deal of stress caring for my mom), at first wanted to order a meatball sub himself, along with my mother's tuna. But as we got to the front of the line, he quickly changed his mind to just buy one footlong tuna sandwich to share with mom. The lady taking our order was very patient as my dad seemed grumpy about why I questioned his change of mind. Once I completed the order, and dad paid, I checked in on Yelp and got a free cookie! As I presented it to the nice woman, she was kind enough to give us not one, but two chocolate chip cookies for both of my parents! She seemed to understand the tension we were going through at that moment. I always enjoy the food at Subway, and will have no problem patronizing here again!

    Bacon instead of rotisserie chicken

    Please be aware of your online order! I never eat bacon. I ordered chicken rotisserie subway through app. I picked it up at the restaurant and when I opened the bag, it had bacon strips with barely any chicken with so much salt. I ended up throwing the sandwich because I don't eat bacon. Never eat it. It was disgusting. If the store was out of chicken, could have messaged me to update the order but adding meat that I never eat was disgusting and cheap actions from the store. Disgusting people. Nasty. Wasted my money. Be aware of your orders! First order I picked up had any chicken in it. It was veggies only--I paid for rotisserie chicken sub. And second time was bacon instead of what I actually ordered.

    So I've been to this subway for about 3 times. That's not usually my way. I like to go to different places to review as a hobby. Anna is the first thing I want to talk about. She was amazing! She must be around 17-19. She was sooooo nice to us. I asked for my footling to be wrapped into two 6 inch. She was like ok. Most might give a little sigh or look. Ok now the sandwiches. Usually get the cold cut foot long. The bread was cooked well. After letting Anna know that I would like pepper jack and to be grilled. It was time for the produce. I like everything I said. Anna started putting the sandwich together. Such a good job keeping all the produce on the bread while folding and cutting into two. That's when I asked if I could have the 6 inch wrapped separate. Will I be back for another sandwich? Damm right I will. See you there.

    I keep forgetting to update my review now that I have been to this Subway location many many more times. We always order Sandwich Catering Platters for work ($38-40 each) and they always have them prepared correctly and on time for when I come to pick them up an hour or two later. I can call in our order ahead of time and they even have a delivery option if we order enough and they have a driver available. Everyone in the store is very nice and helpful, and it is always clean inside both in front and behind the counter. I still think they could put more toppings on the sandwiches (especially the vegetarian ones) but when I have asked for more of a particular topping they have never given me grief. I also like how they offer to toast your sandwich or make it as a salad which is a nice variation from the standard fair. I will keep coming back to this Subway location because of their great customer service and the cleanliness of the store. Everyone is always happy with the sandwiches when I pick them up for lunch and we rarely have any leftovers.

    I have gone here twice and both times they have been out of half of their items. How is that even possible. I am not exaggerating, HALF.

    Overcharged for salad. Salad was extremely small compared to other subways. Will Never ever go there again!

    Disappointing Customer Service Experience at Howe location on Friday, February 13, 2026…read more Dear Habit Burger & Grill Team, I recently visited your Howe ave locationwith my family for dinner on Friday, February 13, and I was disappointed by the decline in customer service compared to past experiences at this location. While I understand kiosks are now common, I strongly prefer interacting with a real person when ordering, especially for a sit-down meal. Navigating the kiosk feels slower and less personal for me. When we approached the front counter, the gentleman with frosted-tip hair (who identified himself as the manager) immediately told us he couldn't take our order because it was too busy. He directed us to use the kiosk, stating it would be faster and that counter ordering would take about 30 minutes. There was no greeting, no "thank you for coming in," or any standard hospitality--just a blunt redirection. A short time later, another customer approached the counter and was allowed to place their order directly with the same manager--no kiosk suggestion. That customer's food arrived before ours, which left us confused and feeling unfairly treated. This experience was frustrating and inconsistent with the welcoming, guest-focused service I remember from The Habit. I miss the days when employees greeted customers, took orders personally, and made the visit enjoyable. If this is the new standard--especially for those who prefer counter ordering--I'm likely to take my business elsewhere. Before I even went back to the store to ask for a refund, I called several times and was put on hold for a very long time, with no one actually helping me. That should've been my first red flag. When I did go back in person, all they could offer was a refund--no genuine apology, no concern, no effort to make it right. Finding plastic in your food is a serious issue, and they treated it like I was just unhappy with the taste. Between the plastic in my food, the long hold times, and the complete lack of customer service, I won't be coming back. Mistakes happen, but how you handle them matters--and Jack's completely dropped the ball.
