Subway - Fast Food Near Me - Spokane, Washington

It's a decent Subway as far as they go. This location seems to be slower than most, which has to do with staff levels more than the staff themselves. Given the increasingly convoluted menu / prep required at Subway these days, a single employee can get overwhelmed making just a few sandwhiches. Thus a relatively small "rush" of 2-3 customers during off hours can create a log jam with 10-15 minute wait times. Subs are good. They've really upped their game in the past few years with more options, heating certain subs, piling on the meat-product and so forth. Still, too much on a menu is a red-flag and I suspect that an abundance of choice has something to do with longer wait times. Subway is also surprisingly expensive. You can easily walk away $10-12 poorer for a single meal. Coupons help, but only marginally. Using a coupon wisely takes another precious 5-10 minutes just reading the fine print and comparing it to the regular menu price. Let's see here... Coupon says: "two regular footlongs for $12.99 when you also purchase a 20oz. drink. Cannot be used on Tasty Melty Steaky Cheese sub or Savanah Hot Brushfire Sub with real Tabasco Sauce." Well... the regular menu price of sub X is $5.99, and sub Y is $5.99.... plus a 20oz. drink that's $1.99... So bought seperately without a coupon that comes to roughly $14 so a savings of $1... but I don't really want a drink anyway... so... if I get a drink I save a buck off the full price of all three combined, but if I don't get a drink it's actually a buck cheaper total. No drink though... So I'm not sure. I'll stare at the board longer and maybe Sub Jesus will float down and help me decide. Let me help you Subway. It's called BUY ONE GET ONE baby! Even BOGO "with the purchase of a small drink." I'd he happy with that. Remember those days? Ah the glory days of Subway, before Jared Fogel and egg white patties, panini presses and... sliders (shudder). I got my kids two sliders and a drink because it seemed a marginally better deal at $5.49 than a single kids meal with one "mini" sub (how many inches is that?) Anyway! After this mind-bending decision was verbalized the sandwich artist tells me, "ok, on the sliders you're allowed two vegetable choices." "ALLOWED?" "TWO?" I coulda sworn this was a Subway... OK. Mine and my bf's sandwiches are always MESSY she puts the meat on in the middle of the fold of the bread, too much veggies when asked for a little, condiments on the edge of the bread, it is NOT that hard to make a sandwich correctly, i get youre young i am too but my niece could do a better job then she could. I know, its a sandwich shop, its Subway, it's a chain. Lets face it, Spokane has a TON of excellent sandwich shops, however none quite as convenient both price wise and location wise to nurture our sandwich loving family on a regular grab and go basis. If I lived closer to one of these other local sandwich shops I would be all over that, but Subway happens to be the closest and happens to offer pretty amazing deals online. I have been to many many Subways and this one has had my order right 99% of the time. Today, I finally experienced the 1%, and with no hassle they offered to remake our sandwiches even for the next day when it's more convenient to us. They are always timely and always have our order ready when we go pick it up (we ALWAYS do mobile orders). I am all about businesses that take care of customers when having a bad experience or something is wrong with their order (it happens) so in my experience, I would definitely rate this one 5 stars, just don't get me started on the other Subways in town... read more

This is the worst experience from any Subway I've ever had i even worked for Subway. When I walked in the guy behind the counter didn't us and then from the time he pulled the bread out to cut it it took 15 minutes to get to basic sandwiches with only a few topping . Then to top it off he only put four slices of turkey on a footlong it didn't even cover the whole sandwich I asked for extra toppings they put four more slices on and charged me $3 then it covered the length of the sandwich every Subway I been to covers the bread across with meat should I pay $9 for four slices of meat and his response was that's all I'm allowed to get my supervisor gets mad if we give anymore. then I went to put sauces on the sandwiches and they were all out of mayo. My self and family and also our company will start going down the hill to get good customer service. read more

They have friendly employees with great customer service skills, the management are well trained and go out of the way to make sure customers are happy, they always have the freshest cookies and bread, and they do a great job keeping the store and lot clean. so a few weeks ago I got a rueban sandwich with 6 slices of corn breef and no sauer kraut they said it was because Sysco didn't have any so today I went back and I didn't get the 6 slices of corn beef I got 4 slices so what gives I don't think I return to the 29th street subway because the girl who said she is the manager was vwery rude to me. so i'm not able to post this i'm thinking you only take good reviews. read more
