I recently brought a visiting friend, excited to share a place I've enjoyed for so long, but the experience was unexpectedly unpleasant. The woman who took our order never greeted us, never smiled, and seemed bothered by our presence. There was no warmth, no care, and none of the hospitality that once made this bakery special. It's disappointing to see such a change. I won't be returning, but I'm grateful for the good memories from past summers. The coffee was mediocre at best. Pizza, salads, beer and wine all were good quality. The service had a litany of issues: Guests waiting at the door for 10 minutes or more waiting to be seated. No one apparently assigned or dedicated to busing tables. Only one person to run the bar who was also preoccupied with waiting on some tables and delivering food. No order control despite handheld electronics (What salads did you order the kitchen lost the ticket? Supreme without bell pepper? No. Well that's what the ticket said.) No one apparently in charge to monitor and direct activities despite overhearing the young lady waiting tables say this was her first day. I'm not in the food service business, but it seems to me that most of this is easily solved. Hire another person and make them host/bus person. Keep the bartender behind the bar and focus him on filling all drink orders. Put someone in charge. Yelp is telling me I haven't mentioned ambiance. It was appropriately fine. Two large screen TVs with season appropriate shows running (in this case Red Bull mountain biking). The upstairs location gives a decent view through large windows. The decor fits the mountain vibe. I would go again, but will give them some time to work on the service. Take out is always an option.

I instantly knew something was off. Turn the light on, inspect it, it's sausage. I don't eat pork. My husband calls and they deny it. They said no it was beef. He was hung up on. I call, was extremely polite, explained who I was and how my husband had been hung up on. I got the manager who says oh it was written down wrong. So he puts me on hold, talks to the owner who says they won't refund or do anything to fix it. I will never eat here again. Last December I spent $300 on a major pre order for a big graduation party. $50 of which was a tip. They have gotten so much money from me over the years. Never again. Shame on you chalupps. It was incredibly busy so we were hoping for some good Chinese food. The ambiance is an old Chinese restaurant that used to have a buffet, but it was clean. What we ordered: - kung pao chicken: I thought the flavors were good, the right amount of heat and I absolutely love Chinese broccoli so this was good for me! It has peanuts and your typical celery so this didn't disappoint. - spicy chicken garlic: nice spice, but it was drenched in sauce. There were more vegetables than meat, so paying $12-16 for something with minimum meat seems a bit of a rip off. - spicy shrimp garlic: it was the same but with shrimp. I asked for extra shrimp and they charged $3, which is fine but I would think it would be heaping with shrimp, but it was the same as the chicken. - orange chicken: perfectly fried and the sauce was not overpowering of orange. My daughter enjoyed it, it was spicy but had a nice heat to it. - chicken lo mein: my daughter loved it. It was good and the noodles were mushy. - cheese Rangoon: a bit disappointing as I wanted some flavor other than cream cheese. It had a sweetness to it but a little green onions:chives would have made it better. - pork fried rice: didn't have a lot of soy flavor. It was mild and lack luster.
