The food is consistently good, which is why we continue coming back. Unfortunately, the service has declined significantly over time. It wasn't like this when they first opened, but now it seems that every visit involves long waits--for drinks, water refills, someone to take our order, our food, or even our check. Tonight was a perfect example. We sat for about 15 minutes before a young man who wasn't even our server stepped in, took our drink order, brought our beverages, and made sure we were taken care of. He essentially saved what would have been a very poor experience. Once we were finished eating, our actual server finally appeared. My meal was also brought out without the fries that were supposed to come with it, and the menus on the table were dirty. The bright spot was that young employee who stepped up and took care of us. I wish I had caught his name because he deserved the tip and the recognition. The food keeps us coming back, but the service continues to be disappointing. I truly hope management addresses it because this restaurant has great food and a lot of potential. Unfortunately, tonight wasn't a one-off experience. The last time we dined in, service was so slow that our drinks didn't arrive until long after we ordered, and the beer was warm by the time it reached the table. Our waitress acted as though checking on customers was a hassle, and while we waited for drinks and service, she seemed more focused on her phone in the back than on the guests in the dining room.
