I am unfamiliar with the results from the other procedures this business provides but as to their Botox offering - they obviously are diluting their Botox solution. Here is the hidden secret with all these botox centers - very few provide botox at the strength that gets decent results - by diluting the solution they increase the amount required therefore generating increased revenue. Suddenly Slimmer gave me 50 units to my forehead and it is 4 weeks later and there is absolutely NO improvement NONE, NADA ... the only result to date has been $450 out of my bank account. I have been a customer of suddenly slimmer for at least three years now. Today was the first time I can actually say I have found the perfect aesthetician, for life! Erin is very down to earth, super honest and was open about what I really need in order to achieve the skin I desire so much!! She shared all of the different strategies that she's used on herself in order to achieve that gorgeous baby skin we all want (we are both late 30's!) We started today with a hydra facial and she put me on a retinol treatment for the next six days which is when I have my next appointment, for a peel. Based on the results from my visit today, I can only imagine how great my skin is going to look after Wednesday. I had the CO2 laser done on my eyes and they are worse than they were before I had it done. The bags under my eyes are worse and bigger than before. It was very painful and worse results. The money I paid was a waste. Very expensive for bad results. I would have been better off not having it done. I am so very disappointed in the results. I am in the medical field and I know how important it is to do what is asked of you to do after the procedure. And I have done just that. Ive been meaning to review this "spa" for awhile now. While the brazilian wax was decent, but the price is absurd! if your looking for good quality at an excellent price go to the european wax center not this spa. Alright... one good thing that i do have to say about the spa is that i did loose alot of inches with one of their slimming wraps, but the room where they do the wraps smells horrible! like dirty towels that have been left in the washer for too long. I looked and felt great after but it wasnt worth the money and the "spa" experience was lacking. When i go to the spa i expect it to smell nice and to have some amount of privacy. overpriced. you can do better with a little more yelp research!!! read more

I hesitated making this review as I have never left a negative review before. However after getting a third opinion, I find my experience very unsatisfactory. I went in for dysport for my 11 lines in between my brows. A week later my brows dropped, my eyes changed shape became heavy and hooded and my brows peaked like Spock, naturally before dysport, my brows were very symmetrical and now they were a wreck!!! I went back in to see Dr. Jeffers 3.5 weeks later as I had researched that a simple injection of some more Dysport higher in the forehead could significantly help the situation I was having. She looked at me, seemed very busy and said the only option is to just wait it out, it will get better (well clearly EVENTUALLY it will, Botox is temporary) but she offered no help, no suggestions or any solution to my problem. Needless to say I ended up paying 200.00 to go to someone else who fixed her mistake, an easy 2 pokes and this other lady left me with a beautiful result, otherwise I would have looked scary for 3+ months. I'm very frustrated, clearly things could have been done to fix my awful result yet I was told to just wait it out and offered no refunds or solutions. I hate to leave these kind of reviews but would hate to see others go through this. I rely heavily on reviews myself and appreciate honestyI wanted to love this spa as it is a very convenient location for me. But I was very disappointed. In response to the response here, I have had dysport quite a few times, enough times to know that by 2.5 almost 3 weeks my results are what they are. Yes, it will subside (that's what It does EVENTUALLY...but this was NOT what I paid for) esp. When it was such an easy fix it just makes me upset that they did not even offer when I came in almost in tears about my results. lesson learned. read more

I was less than impressed with how I was treated as far as booking an appointment here. I called in to ask the cost of a service and the girl who answered the phone was super friendly. She gave me all the info and offered to book me an appointment. I told her I had to check my schedule and would call back tomorrow and she told me, "That works, or you can use our easy on-line booking system!" I thanked her and did just that the next day... used the "easy on-line booking system!" When I showed up for my appointment, I checked in and sat down. I was called up to the desk 5 minutes later to be told that they had no one there to perform the service I had booked. She explained to me that their online system is "under construction" and it doesn't keep up with their in-house booking system. (I don't remember being told this OR seeing a note about it on the website?) She then rebooked me for the following day. I realized when i woke up the next day that I had a conflict with my 6:15 PM appt and I called right at 9:00 AM when they opened to cancel. Before I was even asked when I would like to re-book it, I was told "you know, we could charge you a cancellation fee since it is less than 24 hours that you are cancelling your Brazilian wax appt." At this point, I sort of lost my cool and got a little snippy. I informed the girl that I had drove all the way to the office when they had no one there to perform my service the day before AND that it wasn't even FOR a Brazilian wax?!?! At that point she said she would make a note in my account and hung up with me, again, never asking when I would want to come in. Their loss I guess!!! read more

Awful. I went here for a brazilian back in November and the experience was so bad that I still cringe every time I drive by. I am new to the area and have been getting waxed, lasered, and sugared for the last ten years. I have sensitive skin and am fully aware of what works for me and what doesn't. When I called to make my appointment I clarified with the reception which kind of wax they used. The hard wax, not strip. I went into the dark closet of a treatment room that felt like someone had redont a garage into salon. The woman was nice enough but barely asked what I was interested in and started slapping on the wax. It was all soft/strip wax. When I stopped her and said this was not what I was told she looked at me like I was crazy and didn't know what I was talking about. "Oh, your skin just gets used to this if you do it enough". Really? I was abhored, my skin was irritate for days and so many hairs were broken instead of waxed that I was dealing with the bad wax for 4-6 weeks. Poor customer service and beside manner, lack of knowledge, small treatment room. Never again. read more

Worse experience ever! I made an appointment using thier online booking system as I could not get though on the phone and was at work so did not have time to keep calling back. I was looking forward to my appointment has it was a long week; the day of my appointment, I booked early so I could get about my day as I was only going for B12 shot for energy, I get there and was told that they were having issues with online booking system and I needed to come back over 2 hours later if I wanted my service. The girl then tries to say well someone called you, however no message was left. I'm not sure about everyone but while I am at work I cannot answer my cell every time it rings and something like this you would think a message would be left to inform a client that their 8:30 am appointment needs to be moved to 10:30 or later. Ladies, there are so many more places out there with way better customer service and better pricing. I will not use this place ever and will make sure my friends do not either no matter what service it is. If possible I would have given no stars at all!! read more

The skin treatments I had were not effective. Plus, the staff person kept saying how great the outcome was and was going to prove this to me with follow up visits and photos which she promised over and over again. Guess what - the follow up never happened despite my reminders. When I did see the doctor, she didn't know how to work the equipment and clearly did not care about me at all. Was very disappointed that the spa director did not return my call. I had a manicure by a lovely girl, however the polish was GONE the next morning! It had literally peeled off and the little pieces were found in my bed! I wasn't asking for a refund, just to have polish re-applied! Positives: Nice place, centrally located, friendly staff. Negatives: Do not always get exactly what I want or for the advertised price. I have been here a few times for facials, Botox and waxing. The staff is very friendly and the clientele are everyday ladies (versus the super plastic Scottsdale types). However, when booking a wax service I was signed up for a "Brazilian" versus what I wanted, a "Playboy". When I clarified with the wax staff during my appointment I was told (nicely) that I did not really need a Playboy...so I got what I needed but not what I wanted even when I asked again for it. The Botox was advertised as $8.75 per unit on the electronic sign in the parking lot but I was told I would be charged $10 per unit. When I mentioned the advertised price the front desk staff (nicely) told me they were in the middle of changing promotions and that the Botox is $10 per unit. As I was already there and was not sure I would be able to find another place on such short notice, I paid the $10 per unit ( I checked the sign the next day and it still states Botox for $8.75 per unit). I show up and it wasn't on the books. I know I scheduled... Read this review! They seem like a professional med spa from the store front but once you sign up for any treatment you soon realize that professionalism and eagerness to give you the best treatment possible fades away quickly. I went there for skin tightening treatments on my belly from having babies. They were the first place I went and when I was there for my consult the receptionist, who told me that she was certified to do the treatments which I am sure was false because she was the receptionist and nothing more all 6 times that I went in, looked at the area I wanted done and told me about how many treatments I would need to acquire my desired look and priced the treatments out. I paid for all the treatments and made sure to ask several times that this amount would get me the desired outcome because it was more than I originally thought it would be and she assured me that it would (I didn't want to spend this amount of money only to need to keep going). I did all the treatments and both them and I took before and after pictures and there were literally no results at all which was very discouraging especially because at this point I had looked at other med spa's and realized Suddenly Slimmer was almost twice as much! I decided to go to another med spa to see what they were about and it turns out SS didn't even use the right extension for the laser on me, I then went to ANOTHER med spa to confirm this information. I called them and asked if I could come in and talk to someone about this and when I went in I was told that there are different ways to get the job done and that the technician "knew what they were doing" but I clearly had no results so she told me that she would talk to the director and see what she could do. I was more than willing to politely let them make this up, at the same time was very stern on the fact that I spent $1200 and saw no results and that to me was unacceptable. Flash to a month later after I have reached out several times and no response at all. I have been going to another med spa and have had 3 treatments and already can see a difference. Shame on this company! PS. They also get people to write reviews on their first trip in there before they actually get any services done for a free B-Vitamin shot or some kind of discount. read more

I was used to have my bikini area waxed and when a friend of mine told me about getting laser hair removal at Suddenly Slimmer instead, I got interested to know more about it. She booked both of us to go in and talk to them about it. I found out that it was pain free and their staff was very friendly. I really liked the girl that met with us, she was a laser technician and made me feel really comfortable with everything. I had great services here in the past many years ago and live a few blocks from his location which is a plus. It seems like they are now short staffed or getting out of the massage and facial portion and focusing on CoolSculpting. I have called several times trying to get an appointment and I have been told they are booked every Sat(asked for the past 3) and they told me the massage therapists is too busy doing their cool sculpting. They did offer a time during the week but I asked for a Sat appt since I work during the week and they can not accommodate. The receptionist were very nice but made it seem like CoolSculpting is the only appt they were taking. Must be their moneymaker! read more
