Wow- not in the good way, but in the 'i-can't-believe-that-just-happened' way. So there was a groupon posted a couple months ago for a Body Slimming Wrap and an LED cellulite reduction treatment. I'm a pretty reasonable person, but something about being lazy, losing weight AND getting a "deal" spoke to me, so I bought it. I knew in the back of my mind it's not going to really do anything, but I booked the appointment anyways. The girl on the phone was nice enough, although I felt a little skeptical about wanting a credit card to hold the reservation when I already bought the groupon. Fine, whatever. So I go to the appointment. First, I check in early, hoping perhaps they could take me back earlier. WRONG! I ended up sitting there and watching people come in and go back. So one girl, thank goodness, was like "have you been helped?" and i'm like yes--although my appointment was supposed to start like 10 minutes ago. She says she'll check up front. Meanwhile, the TV is looping "news segments" from YEARS AGO (one had the olympic circles next to the news logo) and these news reports (like 3 of them total) ARENT EVEN FROM ARIZONA but they are talking about how great facials and chemical peels are. I'm not even sure it's directed towards this spa, but it was pretty entertaining at first. Anyways, a lady brought me back to prepare for the body wrap. So as I'm walking by I notice the distinct smell of pot. Radiating from one of the desk girls. Reeking. I go to the locker room, which also has that smell. Whatever. I get changed, time to go back. We go into a room, and like another review on this site, it DOES remind me of a free clinic- totally not "spa-esque." The lady measures 18 spots on my body and marks me with a pen to indicate where she measured. Then she takes me back to get wrapped. What a joke! I've heard of seaweed wraps, but I've never heard of ace bandage wraps....soaking in a bucket....with "mineral juice." As the lady was making me a mummy i noticed a girl dump WATER into the "mineral juice." Maybe they made the solution prior? Anyways, the wrapping is complete and then i step into four plastic baggies (feet and hands) and she securely ties them with a rubber band. Then she points me to a choice of four exercise activities to do in 30 minutes- we need to do this because the "toxins" and "fat" have to be circulated through our lymph system and we need to exercise to do so. Like another review on this site, YES it looked like archaic machines from the '80s. So you have your ace bandages, your plastic baggies and they don on a poncho over you and you're working out on one of those things- it's embarrassing enough, but wait! there's more! this exercise place IS TOTALLY PUBLIC- that's right, people are being taken back into the place passing the freaks of nature dumb enough to fall for this. Awesome. After 30 minutes and a couple of "bastings" later, they take me back and unwrap me. Using fuzzy math and saying that 1/8th of an inch is considered .5 inches, they deduced that i lost 20 inches. Oh wait, it's not 18 places, it's closer to 40 since they have to multiple each arm and leg measurements by 2 since we have two limbs. So if a tiny little "deduction" amounts to .5, and we have like 40 spots, then at minimum you can BS and say hey you lost 20 inches. BS BS BS. So that's not all-as she's removing the plastic baggies she holds it up to the light and says "the solution you started out with was clear, and now, as you can see, it is cloudy. That represents all the toxins released." fair enough, but remember those pen marks you put on me before all this? IT'S STILL THERE- shouldnt those have been gone if i'm cleansing and releasing toxins? Finally I'm waiting for the LED treatment. My lady has to go since she has another client, and she says someone will put me back into the room. I'm waiting, no one is there- i hear girls talking about what they want for lunch and how great this greek restaurant is and who got the greek salad? I can respect a lunch break, but this wasn't even their lunch break- it was preparing for going to get the food. While a customer is waiting. So a girl is like oh you are waiting? let me check the room- so she's like oh the woman has one more cycle it won't be long. So I know when I made the appointment they gave me an itinerary which said from this time to this time wrap, unwrap and LED treatment. So it's way off by now. Finally a girl takes me back there and explains the light. She said 20min and it will be done. I'm sitting there with a light that is changing from red to blue and then off, and cycling and then it finishes. The room is black. It's been 20 min. I wonder where the girl is. No girl. She said something about "invisible light" but honey, the machine is off. I've had enough- I get up and go to the locker room. No one is in the hallway- presumably all enjoying their greek lunch. I leave and there is a cluster of girls up front and chatting. Never coming back! read more

Poor customer service. I was a new client, first time ever at the spa. The spa looks nice when you enter (will give it that, altough from other reviews, it appears as it may be nice on the surface and dirtier further inside?). Waited over a half hour for my appt for a brazilian wax (which I had only booked an hour before....if they were backed up why did they make an appt in the first place?). I had to be somewhere so I left before anyone even approached me to apologize for the wait. Won't be back to try again, not a good way to start off with a new client. Very disappointing results. I had a face peel on special for $99.- (reg. price $150.-) and I did not peel AT ALL. What I did get, though, was a face so dry it feels like lizard skin. I asked for a refund, but this request was denied. NOT GOOD!! Perhaps their other services are better, but I will never know because I'm never going back. read more

I have extremely thick, coarse facial and body hair. I've getting waxing and before that using electrical eraser which is taking a lot time in maintenance. A female friend of mine told me about the painless Laser Hair Removal. I called and checked it around for price, location and most at of all which one is the best. I found out that Soprano that my friend has been using was my best option. My need to have chest, back and arms done in a way that I did not need any more time wasted I decided to call the same place that she is getting her hair removal done. Since I started getting the Laser hair removal for the past 5 months now; I am proud & happy to say that I am about 95% hair free on my entire back, chest and face. I paid an amount for 6 treatments & 6 touchups that saved me money in comparison what I have paid for shaving or waxing in the last 8 years. A good price for the excellent results I would come to see. All the people working there were courteous to me & professional. They took really good care of me. I had the ClearLift laser a month ago and I spent $500-$600. I was told that it takes about a month for the results to be visible, however, there are no results. I mean zero, nada, northing. Not a single fine wrinkle was smoothed out unfortunately. What a waste of money!!! In addition, the bedside matter of the laser aesthetician was not kind or comforting at all. At times, she was even rude and abrasive. My advice to you is: keeping on walking past this place! read more

My first appointment here was mostly horrible. Although the staff was incredibly kind and friendly (I was very thankful for that), the end results were extremely disappointing. After spending quite a bit of money, I was practically in tears. I spoke with management over the phone, and after they listened to my feedback and chatted with me for a bit, they asked me to come back in for a complimentary service. This said a lot to me about their "code of ethics": they were concerned about their customers' opinion and happiness. I have to say that my experiences since then have been fantastic. Their services are more pricy than most other places, but I feel comfortable there and can rely on great results. read more

If you get waxed there, please INSIST on a CLEAN new pot with BRAND NEW wax that has not been used by anyone else! They use the same wax all day long on several clients, and I have actually seen sticks left in the pot from a previous client waxing. They will tell you that they never double dip... but I say, don't bet your health on that! The wax isnt hot enough to kill a virus like herpes or HPV ( warts). I confirmed this with several Doctors including a top Virologist. When I started getting brazilian waxes I didn't know that you CAN catch diseases from that nasty pot of wax . I learned the hard way that you CAN! Yes , the place used to look and smell horrible . It never looked clean either but I kept going because it was supposed to have the best brazilian waxer in town. The spa recently had a huge remodeling and now looks lovely . The bathrooms are beautiful. The atmosphere is zen-like and relaxing. The air-conditioning has had problems and there have been days where there was NO A/C ! I It was terribly uncomfortable laying in a pool of sweat and having the esthetician sweating over me . Not what one expects from an expensive Spa. The "queen of brazilian waxing" Danielli , is a very nice , dear person and does a super FAST (20 min.) job . Zip, zip, zip and you are out of there! I have tried other waxers at Suddenly slimmer , some were as good but not as fast. One was really , really bad but some were actually better than "the queen". Sorry Danielli! The other waxers took their time and were more detail oriented. The people working there are all polite and nice. The spa manager is always nice and friendly. I cannot say that about the owner as I have never talked with her. Although, I have overheard employees talking badly about her. That isnt a good sign. My BIG concern is the health factor. Spas are not monitored by the Health Dept. I learned the hard way that you CAN catch venereal diseases from brazilian waxes! Of course the spa owners and workers will tell you otherwise. Awesome staff but got my lips done by Dr. Jeffers twice. After the first time one side of my lip wasn't as full so got another syringe. Went back for a follow up today b/c one side is not nearly as full still and the center is overly full. Went in today for a follow up and all she said was well I don't recommend dissolving any b/c you payed good money. Or that I can pay to get more for her mess up? Don't go here. read more

I've been going to Suddenly Slimmer for several years for waxing services. Always had wonderful service. Then this past December, I decided to go for the Soprano Ice laser hair removal. Randi, my aesthetician and laser hair removal specialist, is amazing. I've now been in twice, and there is almost no pain at all - you can barely feel it! Randi is informative, she talks to me about additional services, but isn't pushy about them in any way, and is just an all around delight to spend 30 minutes with! AND - the Spa seems to always be having some sort of deal on the laser hair removal prices! I saw results within two weeks of my first treatment (certainly wasn't expecting that!) and have been so pleased. I'm definitely continuing on with this, and will be having Randi do more in the future! Lastly, Randi does early morning weekend appointments, so I can get them out of my way and have the rest of my day to do whatever! read more

I've been here a few times hoping each time the next visit would be better. I'm not sure why everyone keeps saying this place is beautiful and clean when it surely is not. I'm wondering if the owners are writing those 4 and 5 star reviews reviews. When you walk in all seems lovely and spa like. When you are brought to the rooms your impression may change. Wax all over the walls, dirty floors, small cramped and uncomfortable rooms. Elizabeth was wonderful but Hillary was very sloppy and the room she brought me into smelled bad and just felt dirty. She herself needed some cleaning up.Yuck! I've also had a facial done here. Not very relaxing since you can hear workout machines squeaking the whole time, doors slamming, people talking in the hallway and laughing. It was just so ridiculous! How can anyone relax in this place?! When trying to speak to the Spa Director about this ( I think her name was Jeani) she just sat there and spoke to me like I was a child and didn't know what I was talking about. I used to come here every 4 weeks for a chemical peel treatment. I have moderate acne scars and a few break outs here and there and the peels really do the trick. I was seeing a esthetician regularly and on my last visit they put me with someone new. Even though I had scheduled with my regular girl in advanced. They told me she was on vacation... then 4 weeks later she had "moved". I was bummed but I love their products and atmosphere so I gave it another shot. EVERY esthetician I have tried (other than my original girl) was absolutely horrible. They didn't have that human touch I was looking for. I come every 4 weeks and I'm just asking for someone to pay a little bit of attention and pamper me. Not super difficult. I just stopped going and found a new place (and eventually found my original esty). For the price Suddenly Slimmer just isn't worth it. You expect 5 star service and you get a 3 star service. read more

Worst experience at a day spa ever!! I just had an appointment to get a manicure and pedicure. I would never recommend their services to anyone. Believe me! I will not be wasting my time and money there ever again. When I first arrived to the salon I was greeted and ask to fill out some paper work, I should of taken that as the first red flag when the paper they gave me to fill out was filthy with stains on it! I mean talk about a first impression. I got past the dirty paper work and was taken upstairs to the nail room. This salon is extremely over charged for what they offer. The lady asked me to put my feet into this tiny tub, the water was extremely hot, it burned my feet. The chair was very uncomfortable and with $200 worth of nail service one would expect the place to be better than the nail places at the mall. Boy was I wrong!!! She did not even cut or file my toe nails. She did a French pedicure, or her version of it, I swear my 4 year old niece would probably do a better job. Then it was time for my new acrylic nails set. The service took over 2 hours! The nail tech actually cut my finger and it was bleeding really bad. The end result is terrible!! I am really sad that I chose this place for such an important event. I do not have time to get a new set of nails! After my terrible service, the girls in the front desk overcharged me by $60, she apologize for the mistake after running my card and processed a refund that will take about 3 days for me to receive!! The next morning I woke up and my nails were already pealing from the bottom, and the pedicure was full of bumps. Seriously, THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH THE PRICE!! read more

I've been going to Suddenly Slimmer since my junior year of high school and I'm in my mid twenties now, so I think I'm pretty qualified to say I've seen this place go through a lot of change. Sadly it has only been going downhill, especially as of late. First off, the prices in this place have become ridiculous. They are far pricer than places similar to them and the prices keep going up. It wouldn't even bother me so much if at least the service was up to par, but the service quality is on a major decline and not worth the steep prices. All the girls that were decent aesthetician's have mysteriously left (I keep getting told they moved, or left due to family issues?!) I have had about 5 that I liked and all left without warning. The only one that is great and still there is Dannielli, but she has become so impossible to book (unless it's a month in advance) and my schedule so up in the air that it never works out trying too book her. The last girl I had for my Brazilian did such a horrible job that I vowed never to go back again. I saw her twice before that because all my favorite girls left and gave her the benefit of the doubt both times even though she did horribly on both. The third time I saw her was my worst experience ever, I not only had patches of hair left but my skin was actually bleeding a little which has never happened to me before. I wish I remembered her name, but I honestly do not or else I would let everyone know to stay away. Second, I think it is very poor customer service to charge a customer for a missed appointment. Thankfully this has never happened to me personally but when I heard of this new policy I knew the company was on a decline. I know it sucks when a customer does not show up for their appointment but to charge them 50% of the bill regardless is just being greedy in my opinion. I have read down below that supposedly "many resectable places do this" but I did a little research recently as I am looking for a new place, and no, no they don't. Another bone I have to pick with suddenly slimmer is they used to have this sign in iPad where every visit you would put in your phone number and after about 10 or 12 visits you would receive a free B-12 shot or sometimes facial. Well, when I changed my phone number and had about 2 more appointments left till my free shot or facial they said they would transfer my points to my new number but of course they never did and I never got anything from them, and later they just stopped doing it. Ever since I've been coming to Suddenly Slimmer the prices have just been going up and everything else down. It's really hard to fathom that my Brazilian wax + tip comes out to just shy of $100 and my skin is bleeding or I still have patches of hair left because my aesthetician is too lazy to tweeze the rest that did not come off with the wax. If I want to add an eyebrow wax or something else to my usual upkeep the pricing is just ridiculous. Surely they would charge me the cancel fee i read about here if I walked out...since I have the time to opine - I agree with others on the dated decor and there is a musty smell. I decided to take mom here for mother's day last year( and myself, of course) and had a nice experience. PROS: my massage and facial were excellent. The staff was very friendly and informative during the procedures. The place was clean, well-staffed and carried the fresh aromatic usual spa smell. It had one of the longest list of services i have ever seen. CONS: The parking lot was tiny. The name is a turn off, but dont be discouraged. I thought the body wrap was going to be a relaxing experience, but it was actually embarrassing. My mom was taken upstairs to have snacks and refreshments and they forgot about me. Do Not Go Here. I scheduled a manicure and bikini wax before my wedding. The bikini wax was fine, nothing special, but the manicure polish bubbled and chipped the same day. I get a lot of manicures and have never had that happen when I'm paying for a nice manicure. I had to get it re-done somewhere else before the wedding which was stressful to find in time. I called to get a refund since I had to pay someone else to fix it and the woman said she would have to talk to a manager and no one called me back. I called again a week later, spoke to a director and they said they would have to go above them to give me a refund and no one ever called or emailed me back. Terrible customer service. REALLY poor customer service cost them my business. I called to schedule a few rather expense services. The girl, Stephanie, who answered my call was pleasant at first, scheduled an appointment, and took all my information. Then I mentioned $20 off for first time clients I saw on their website. Her attitude completely completely changed she paused, then scoffed.. "O I'll make a ..note.... of that." Then proceeded to ask for my credit card info to reserve the appointment. (Mind you this isn't the 1st time I've given credit card info to hold a spa appointment, but it's VERY rare in my experience) I told her I was happy to give her my credit card, but I stepped away from my desk to make this call (so my co-workers wouldn't overhear about my skinny wrap). If she could give me the company email address I would send her the information when I got back to my desk & purse. She said no problem, then asked to put me on hold. She comes back to the line and immediately says.... "O, what you're going to have to do is go on our wait list. Then when you call me back with your credit card info we will actually schedule your appointment." I asked "so there's no email address I can use for you?" She tells me "NO, you'll have to call back". I take down her name and go back to my desk feeling pretty put off by the call. In the 5 MINUTES it takes for me to walk back to my desk they have not only TEXTED, but also EMAILED, me to confirm the appointment Stephanie said they would have to "wait list". I responded to both messages "please cancel". Needless to say they will not be seeing my business. read more

I have been to the spa in the past for waxing and laser services and always a fairly decent experience. When my husband purchased a girl's getaway package for my friend and I, there was an expectation of similar treatment. From start to finish, I was wrong. Booking was ridiculous. I tried to use the website with no success. When I called I was given differnt directions on the website...again a failure. When I called back to say that the website still didn't work, THEN they offered to book over the phone. Times were extremely limited as they have 1 nail tech...total and we were both supposed to get a mani and a pedi. The easiest way to review is to give a play by play of the day: 1. arrive 15 min early. It takes 15 min to get paperwork, thus late to the massage. 2. my friend and I are taken to change in a closet off a hallway. There's only 1 baathroom so we change in lockeroom/closet and then realize thet it is a public hallway and men are right down the hall. awesome. 3.we are led into the same room and have a very awkward conversation with therapists and told to get ready. I told my therapist to concentrate on upper back and neck...pretty simple 4. Massage is horrible...she never touches my upper back or neck. The closet she got was putting a scalding hot, wet towel under my neck and then telling me that my massage was over and then left it there. After all that, both therapists come in and ask us to rate the massage in front of them...very uncomfortable. 5.We are supposed to have facials next, there is confusion on if we are staying in the same room, so we get out of the, bed to sit freezing in our robes to be told to get back in. The anesthetist wheels a second steamer into the room and searches for 5 min for a plug. we wait for the steamers to heat up and mine is making a hoorible noise and then spits scalding water on my chest and face. The gentleman doing my facial clearly didn't do them often and flat out told me that he was the hairdresser there. All I can say is that I have never had a facial where I felt less clean when it was done. I was wiping caked on product off my face for the next hour. 6. I had plenty of time to try and clean my face as the 1 (very nice, and good) nail tech did each set of nails separately. that meant one of us had to wait around for an hour while the other was getting it done. The room was very uncomfortable and bc there was one tech, it took 2.5 hours! 7.trying to check out didn't get better. I wanted to give seperate gratuities and she couldn't figure it out, so it took 10+ minutes to leave and when she finally gave me a total, it was 10 dollars less than it was supposed to be. So, I apologize to the person who got screwed on the tip, but it wasn't my fault. I have never been less relaxed leaving a spa. They should not offer that package, and I feelhorrible that my husband spent hundreds on that. I will never go there again for any service at all. What a waste! read more

This place is overpriced but compared to places like the Bilmore spa and other fancy places in Phoenix, it is not as expensive. I get the bikini wax and it is usually satisfactory-always ask about the pink wax. The regular is course and drying. Don't pay more than $45 per bikini wax-they always have deals. Also, do not get any other services there-facials, wraps, massages, and beauty products are not good-plain and simple. read more

I live in Seattle but came in for Botox while I was in town visiting my parents for Christmas. Botox in Seattle is $14/$15 a unit. Since Suddenly Slimmer was running a special, I thought I'd take advantage of the cheaper price since I was there. This isn't my first rodeo. I have have been getting Botox for years. I got the exact same units that I always get but two weeks passed and I still had full expressions. It was as if I didn't get Botox at all. They either dilute their Botox big time or the girl who injected me didn't give me the units I paid for. Either way, I basically threw $375 down the toilet that day. I had to pay for Botox AGAIN when I returned home to Seattle. read more

I have had great and awful services at this place. Some of the women who do the waxing know what they're doing and some others have no clue. My advice to management is to train the wax techs more often and do random observations of their work because there is no consistency among them. It was October 2012 when I purchased a B12 package and a HCG treatment, after the second week I developed clear reactions to the treatment and I was humiliated having to "tell" my concerns over and over on the phone and then personally to 5 different people, not to mention a few glitches while I was still on treatment. Since then I have sent emails along a monthly complain letter and I haven't been able to get a reimbursement. Totally ridiculous and unbelievably insulting. This place is awful!!! A friend told me about their sale on Botox so I thought I'd try it - buyer beware. I have NEVER, EVER had a place doing botox treatments DEMAND my credit card number while making an appointment. They said it was incase I cancelled and that hotels do this all the time....um, I'm getting botox, not booking a room. When I arrived, you have to sign in and state whether you're paying by card or cash which I thought was odd. I met with the Nurse who was to do the treatment and she was nice enough. She gave me the quote and I agreed. Before she would even start, she said she had to have my credit card to take to the front desk to be run BEFORE treatment. Seriously???!!!!! I was treated like some deadbeat criminal! I gave her my card, then had to wait while the front desk ran my card for the amount. Obviously the charge went through without problem, but the experience left me disgusted with Suddenly Slimmer. I drove 90+ miles to come to this place and I wouldn't come back if the Botox was free. The office staff is rude in that they don't even acknowledge you when you enter the place and sign in. The Botox was ok at best, but the service was deplorable! STAY AWAY! read more

I am astonished to see all these amazing reviews for this place, which only the difficulty in lodging an agency complaint has kept me from reporting. This was a long, horrible experience, so I will only report the short version. With no dressing rooms to speak of, and no appropriate route to the upstairs, I was paraded through the lobby full of clients and a full-sized picture window open to the street dressed only in a towel. After being full wrapped and completely helpless, I was left completely alone on the treadmill and told to use it for 30 minutes. Following my treadmill, I stood, freezing, wet and increasingly uncomfortable for another 30 minutes without anyone coming to my aid. Finally I stood in the hallway and shouted for help, at which point a male teenager appeared. He told me if I wanted to be unwrapped (down to my underwear) he was the only one available. Finally, after parading once again through the lobby, I found there was no shower facility and no towels. Using my robe/towel to dry off, I finally saw my "therapist" at the front desk. I told he she had abandoned me. Shrugging, she smirked and said, "yes, I know." No apology, no acknowledgment she had done anything she wouldn't normally do. I wrote to the management (encouraged on their web site) and received no reply, apology, nothing. It is very difficulty to complain about spas - you have to go to the health department, so they are basically immune from citizen complaints. I find it astonishing this was allowed to happen, and even more so no attempt at apology or other customer service overture was made. Sorry - this place scares me! read more

First, let me say I am an esthetician so I know something about facials and skin treatments in general. I walked in and was greeted with complete chaos at the front desk with a line of people waiting to pay and someone disputing the price of a treatment. It took forever to check in, then I waited 20 minutes for my very rushed and stressed technician. The treatment room was filthy. I had a facial in a filthy room with stained sheets. They used cold water from a crock pot. Can you believe it? Barely any steam came out of the rickety old steamer. I opened a drawer looking for a blanket, and saw a mess of junky products and dirty laundry. Complete waste of time and money here. They get all their business through very good marketing. Do not have many repeat clients and I certainly would not recommend them. They offer way too many services to try to accommodate everyone and do none of them well. I booked a consultation for the phentermine lollipops and Botox. The Botox was advertised on their website for 7.99/unit. The phentermine lollipops were advertised on their website as a great way to prevent hunger during the day. I arrived on time and filled out the neccessary paperwork. The doctor informed me that they no longer offer the phentermine lollipops. This is not what I wanted to hear. That is the ONLY reason I scheduled an appt. I can get phentermine pills and Botox much closer to my house. Instead I drove 35 miles to Suddenly Slimmer because I wanted to try these innovative lollipops. But it gets even better....no one seemed to know that Botox was advertised on THEIR website for 7.99/unit. I was told IF i could show them where I saw that price, they would honor it. And I was told I have to pay 50.00 although no services were provided. I told them I did not believe I should pay anything because i booked an appointment with the belief that they have these lollipops for weight loss. By the way, one of their staff found the Botox price of 7.99 a unit on THEIR website! Also, they require a credit card when you book an appointment. Tonight, I see a 100.00 pending payment on my bank acct...from Suddenly Slimmer!! I will be reporting the fraudulent transaction to my bank! I have read some of the reviews and were surprised to see the mix reviews. i never had a problem and the people there always seem so nice and professional to me. I also have a business and can understand their cancellation policy. I hate it when I am waiting around late Friday afternoon and the client does not show up. So their policy makes sense to me. The only problem I have had (not a real problem) is the turnover in staff. I had been going there for years for waxing hair removal Brazilian. Because it is so painful, it was difficult to find someone who would be sensitive and careful. Their employee, Lexis, was fantastic. I went there three or four times a year with no problem. So when she left, it was very difficult to find a replacement. They offered two other women who would perform the service, but I really did not want to start over with someone new. They then offered laser hair removal as an alternative. I took a chance with a new woman, and now I am kicking myself why I did not do this years ago! No pain, a little more expensive and much faster. They said after 8 treatments there will be almost no hair ever again. I hope they are right. I still miss Lexis lol read more

I was researching waxing and ran across suddenly slimmer day spa's web page and purchased the numbing cream, I was emailed that I would recieve my product in 5-7 business days, i waited and nothing came (and yes my credit card had already been ran through the item had been paid for through paypal) I tried callling the business a woman took my information and promised to call me back, i waited 3 days and called back i got a answering machine I left my name and number the product i ordered and ask to be called back. I placed my order on 5-16-2008 here it is 6-9-2008 9:30 pm eastern time and still NO PRODUCT or CONTACT from the company, no refund or the product, yes tomorrow i will be contacting the BBB and making my complaint I already have filed my dispute 2 times with paypal and there are checking into this also,I WILL NOT MAKE ANOTHER LONG DISTANCE CALL to this so called BUSINESS. I had horrible experience with this Salon.. I took a living social coupon in aug for this spa.. when I came as per my appt, I was 15 mts late and they were pretty rude and said no that slot is gone and gave me another appt after 4 weeks. When I came again, they told me they have stopped taking living social at all but still i got facial done as I came driving 1 hr from Glendale to this place. This time they were good with me as I was paying too much and they sold me clrisonic machine which didnt work when i took home. I got it replaced eventually from clarisonic itself but problem started after that. They charged me 55 USD in oct for no show fee of an appt which I didnt even ask for. It seems during my earlier appt they said we'll keep slot for u after 4 weeks but never told they'll charge. They didnt send any email as well but told that they sent and then gave me option to come for facial again and they'll adjust. I went yesterday evening as per my appt and it looks like they gave this task to someone new in their spa. She scrubbed my face badly although I told her initially only that I have acne problem and I dont want too much of scrubbing. She said she'll be very gentle. I told her by the end that it is itching too much but she said its because of papaya mask and all.. When I went home and washed face at night, I realized its not only redness but my face is scratched from several places and looking horrible. It has been 24 hrs I had this facial and my face is still burning and scratches are clearly visible. Its horrible service I say. I never had such an experience with any Spa in my lifetime. I dont know if these scratches will leave marks on my face but I'll surely not go to this place again neither I'll let anyone else go in my knowledge.
