Update: 4/10/25 The owner texted me calling me a liar that "You may not admit it to me, but it's not me you have to worry about if you believe in God, I'd worry about that". To use God on this manner is deplorable and not what faith is supposed to be. Again, very disappointing. Very bad experience. (Requested a 8" cake) Here were the instructions and a singular photo as an example for a quote per her request. Half German chocolate, chocolate cream frosting. Half lemon with raspberry filling and your cream cheese frosting. Slanted, not straight down the middle. Frosting no more than 1/4 in. Edible flowers pressed in and some sitting on the cake too. Long story short. She used that singular picture as an example to go off of. Ignored the instructions provided in text and her form that she asked I filled out. She only used the first picture sent as a reference. Then said I was lying when I said there was no German chocolate filling. It's a shame. Great flavors. When we tried to get a wedding cake from her a couple years ago we chose her because her flavors are great. Miscommunications and misunderstandings happen. There were mistakes on both ends, I owned mine (sending a picture that didn't accurately, in totality, depict what I wanted), but she made excuses and said I was lying. Cakes are moist, flavorful, and decorated in such a way that there are always multiple compliments about the design before anyone even tastes.
