Wonderful, had the fresh peach cake with buttercream. The buttercream was made with butter as opposed to the usual lard or shortening. A gal pal and I wandered in here the other day prior to taking our 1 year olds to Fidgets, we grabbed some macarons and coffee - but when we went to taste the coffee, it wasn't quite hot so we asked if she had a microwave and instead she BREWED UP A NEW POT AND BROUGHT IT TO US NEXT DOOR. who does that?!?! Amazing pastries is all I can say! Nope, I can say more... I happened to stumble upon this place while eating pho nearby. The place is small, and the selections are few, but I found that it added charm to the establishment. It sometimes can be overwhelming when a bakery has dozens upon dozens of items to choose from. The service was friendly and inviting, and one of the pastry chefs (sorry forgot her name!) gave us suggestions of what is "to die for". All in all we purchased the apple tart, lime flavored macarons, chocolate chip cookie and the oreo cookie with mint ganache. My favorite was the oreo cookie...or maybe the tart. No, it was the oreo. I don't even like oreos, but this was unlike the kind you get in the store. The filling had a taste of mint, but not overly sweet like the store bought kinds. I don't personally like macarons, but my friend said that the texture was spot on. I would definitely visit Sugar Bee's again when I am nearby. Thank goodness I live far because their menu changes daily, and it would be hard not to try everything they had. read more

Wow! If i could give them 10 stars i would !!!!! I was in Vegas with girlfriends and my sister celebrating her 21st. However being the procrastinator that i am I called various bakeries a week before our Vegar arrival and they were all booked. THANKFULLY ANOTHER bakery reffered me to Sugar Bee's and Boy was i beyond glad with the exceptional customer service !!!!I i Spoke to (i believe her name was) Carrie and she amazing.. she was very patient and helped me with i placing my order over the phone, she was even kind enough to text me a picture of a previous 21st Bday cake she had done in order to get an idea of size and colors. Amazingly enough it was a nice blueprint of what i was looking for. i described exactly what i wanted and they executed it perfectly!!!! We were hving dinner at Maggianos and Carrie was kind enough to offer delivery to the restaurant. Overall i was expecting to pay over $100 bucks and it was about $76 with delivery included for a custom cake that feeds 8. The look on my sister was PRICELESS!!!!! The cake was absolutely beautful and perfect. I have mixed reviews for this place, i used to LOVE LOVE LOVE this place on a weekend morning when I wanted something sweet but I have visited on several occasions in the last month, and something has changed, the macarons have been rock hard, and hallow! It's upsetting because this place was a gem, but something about the consistency in the macarons has been a huge disappointment. I hope they tweak the change soon! read more

One of the best bakeries I've been to around the SW area. I always come in for the blueberry almond cake! Compliments coffee very well :) croissant is the best. No joke. I don't think I've ever had a real croissant until I bought one today. Super crispy and flakey! I wish they didn't cost so much, please lower the price by 75 cents please! Haha. The 2 stars is for the customer service I received....or should I say did not receive on my first and last visit to the bakery. I had planned on trying a couple of the bakery items but after being treated like our business didn't matter, I left. My daughter and I were looking for a place to order a cake and some cupcakes for an upcoming event. We tried asking a few questions about the product, etc.. but she curtly told us we needed to do it all online and that we couldn't be having a long conversation up front and she walked away. It was a huge hit and the price was very reasonable. My husband also purchased two chocolate chip cookies when we waited for our cake to be boxed and said the cookies were the best chocolate chip cookies he has ever tasted! The texture's nice and chewy on the inside with a perfect crisp shell, and in a good size too, these are big, meaty macaroons haha. Even better were flavor options! So unique and delicious, and they actually tasted like the flavors they claimed it to be. I tired ones like tiramisu, horchata, crème brûlée, peach, even sour blue raspberry! But don't worry, they had classics like vanilla, chocolate, and salted caramel too, all equally delicious. And the greatness doesn't stop at the macaroons; they also have some other yummy pastries and desserts like chocolate chip cookies, cakes, and various types of breads. I also tasted their croissants and garlic knots and once again- they were delicious. Absolutely no negative comments, even the prices seemed reasonable to me. I love coming here when I need a quick bite to eat before work in the morning. Plus they're located literally across the street from me. I usually get the jalapeño & bacon croissant. It has just the right amount of heat in it & you can actually find pieces of jalapeños & bacon in it that I love! I've also had their guava croissant, also good when you want something sweet. Their macaroons & donuts are great too. Very cute presentations & great flavor. This place opens early on the weekends & its first come first serve. So get here early if you want the good stuff! Stopped by here on a Saturday morning for a few macarons and I think I've found my new favorite bakery! I tried a vanilla bean, guava lime and strawberry cheesecake macaron and each of them were delicious. The vanilla bean had a bright vanilla flavor, the strawberry cheesecake tasted exactly like cheesecake and had some strawberry jam hidden in the middle. The guava and lime was probably my favorite it was sweet and tart and different than any flavor I've had before. The cookies themselves had a soft and chewy consistency and were very fresh. Just went here this morning. The cashier was nice. Got a glimpse of the kitchen; the staff looks like pastry chefs. The chocolate croissant is just okay because the texture and buttery flavor of the croissant was fighting the sweetness of the chocolate filing. (Note: the owner is working on improving the chocolate croissant). But... The HAM AND CHEESE CROISSANT is the bomb!!! I've been to Europe, and all I ate there was pastries because I was scrimping on money; the croissant is up to par. The softness of the inside and flakiness of the outside compliments the saltiness of the ham and the melty gooeyness of the cheese inside. We wanted more!!!! Would def come back here again!!!! CREME BRÛLÉE is cheap but as good as you get in a restaurant. They even heat/glaze it for you. Awesome! MACARONS are big, and cheaper than what you get on the Strip. Delicious too! COOKIE is yummy...
