I went when it was their 1 year anniversary/birthday! I decided to be one of the early birds to wait in line :) Anyways, super happy that they're successful and creating a variety of delicious sweets! Below are the goodies that I bought and gifted for being the top 20 customers in line. What I bought: 1. Bunny pudding: SO CUTE! I've seen this trend everywhere and am so glad that they have their own version. It was adorable. For $6.50 I was a bit skeptical because I thought it would be cheaper. However, it was too cute! It was good. Subtle in flavor but the texture was nice. It was thick pudding. I think it took me 2 days to nibble on it with my mom so we could enjoy it. The jam with it WAS AMAZING! I loved the slight tartness to it. The only thing was that the jam was red and it was behind the bunny so it looked...yes...you can be creative there haha. 2. Salted egg yolk cookie. Love salted egg anything and was surprise to see this as a cookie! Love the Asian flavors! It was lovely. It also had a little bit of a leaf on it and it created a little curry flavor taste. I don't know what it is but combined with the salted egg, delicious. It was my first time trying a more savory cookie. Gifted: They also gave me a salted egg yolk cookie which was great, I got 2 haha. 1. Chocolate macaron. I don't really like macarons because they're usually too sweet. However! This was good. Not too sweet and the chocolate flavor was present. It was a good size and it was super cute 2. Matcha macadamia nut cookie. I've had this one before, still good! 3. Brownie chocolate cookie. THIS WAS MASSIVE! Huge~! And yet, still chewy, fudgy, and full of chocolate. Yum! If you're a chocolate lover like me, you'll like this! I will drop by again in the near future! read more

When my usual bakery closed permanently in Portland, this gem came on my radar. Unbelievable that this little store is just a few minutes drive from my parents' home. I was on the look out for some delicious cake. Unique flavors and beautiful decorations just happened to be a perk. Minh, the owner, the matter how busy it gets, is always so personable and enthusiastic. She brought two visions for two of my daughters' birthday themes to life within a reasonable range. One was a Mermaid birthday and the other Avatar themed. Both times we picked a pandan cake layered with pandan buttercream. Wow the structure held up very well after thawing out for a few hours. Cake was incredibly soft and moist without being too sweet. The Asian flavors mixed with a conventional American twist made for the perfect marriage. I really hope this bakery does well. It is such a treat to order cakes here. Will definitely have to try the durian or lychee next time. read more

Amazing treats! There are so many wonderful options it was hard to choose. I ultimately chose the famous garlic bun and it was wonderful. My son had the cream cheese oero cookie and I don't recall any crumbs leftover. The owners were really friendly and would answer any and all questions. No indoor seating, but there ample options outside. read more

I reached out for a custom cake via email and was responded back pretty quickly to get the ball rolling! The menu option is made short and sweet allowing you to be a part of the process the entire way through. I do wish there was an order form though for me to fill out but that's just me! The day I went to go get the cake unfortunately the ac wasn't working properly that she had to troubleshoot that and was still working on my cake which was no issue for me at all! I was in no rush and things happen, I appreciated her being open and transparent with me. At the end she gave me these passionfruit pudding cups on the house for the wait which was so kind! And they were THE MOST DELICIOUS PUDDING IVE EVER HAD! I will definitely have to go in just to grab pastries next time! The shop is on the smaller side I feel like more than 2-3 customers is a crowd. Grabbed a variety of things here after our Bethany library visit and to enjoy while our kids splashed around in the fountain. We tried: Kimchi bacon scone -- great weight and texture and crumb, neither the kimchi nor bacon component were overwhelming (maybe left me wanting more..?) I am so delighted that an Asian bakery opened in Bethany! The pastries are so creative and the taste is to die for. After much deliberation, lots of friendly advice, and some back and forth, I finally decided to try the taro cupcake and the Vietnamese coffee scone. They did not disappoint. Everything was light and not too sweet. The taro tasted so fresh and it was clear that the inside was real taro, not an flavor imitation. The scone in particular though was my absolute favorite. It was sweet, but balanced out with coffee bits inside. As someone who absolutely adores sweets, I'm so excited about their store opening!! 10/10 will come back and try everything :) read more

I stopped in the day after their grand opening and their cases were fully stocked with goodies. The bakery is very small and can only fit a few customers at a time making it difficult to scope out all the goods but service was quick and friendly. I decided on the mochi cookie for me and the brownie cookie for my boys. A little pricey for the cookies, the brownie cookie was large though. The mochi cookie texture and flavor was amazing! Super soft mochi and very strong coconut flavor in the cookie, would definitely be back for it. The brownie cookie was just ok and I wouldn't get again. The texture was crumbly and slightly bitter from the strong cocoa used. There were also super small nut chunks in it that gave it an odd texture, my son said he wouldn't want it again. Fantastic! This place is absolutely amazing. It's so nice that Bethany Village has a bakery! The cheesecake is THE BEST EVER! It is out of this world - galaxies near and far should worship this cheesecake. The tiramisu is perfect, light and creamy yet flavorful. The dacquoise cookies are also light and flavorful. It's not just sweets, their garlic buns - SO GOOD! Also their scones are really good as well, we had a bacon one with a kimchi glaze, that was so unique and delicious. 10/10 if I could live in this bakery I would.
