First off, this place is really clean, the space is really inviting and from the moment you walk in, you feel really comfortable. I went for my 2nd appointment last week, as I desperately needed a tan for my friends wedding that I was in. I got to the salon and they informed me they were out of levels 2 and 3 which I was very disappointed about. I never got an email or text about it (although they said they sent one). So I had to go with a level 1 although I did not want to spend much to get a light shade. It ended up working out because the color looked nicely on me AND they made it right by giving me a free session. That is the way to handle good a business and I will be returning. read more

The studio looked great, the bronzing lasted really nicely and was so even and the sugaring was quick - which always helps! Love this location and will absolutely come back. I prefer waxing but the membership for sugaring is cheaper than any other place nearby. They are pretty quick, the place is very clean, and everyone there is personable. I do not think that it does as good as a job as waxing, but it is adequate and convenient. read more

Another lovely experience! I always go to S+B monthly in different locations - whatever works for my timing and schedule but I mainly go to the Union Sq one or the Upper East Side. Always awesome customer service. Today was especially great because for the first time ever, the sugaring tech that I had was so awesome! At first she wasn't super talkative and excited like most of the ladies there but I didn't really care since it was pretty early in the morning or maybe she's just a quiet person. We made some small talks but she was more focused on getting everything removed for my brazilian. Usually it takes less than 10 minutes to get a brazilian but today it took just about 15 because she was super diligent and even took her time to pluck afterwards. She removed almost everything! She was super nice and actually took her time to do my brazilian and wasn't doing a whatever job. I truly appreciated her. read more

As soon as I came in, I was welcomed into a clean and beautiful atmosphere, and even with safety parameters surrounding Covid-19, my experience wasn't impacted negatively. In fact, I appreciate how clean everything was and how much care was put into making sure I had a good experience. Gabby did my spray tan and was awesome! I appreciate the after care card with instructions to make sure I go home and take proper care of my skin. Definitely try their lotion for tan maintenance. I walked by the salon many times on 3rd avenue and finally booked an appointment for a spray tan the day before my engagement photos as a trial for my wedding. Let me tell you how professional the tech was, she recommended a level 2, took her time to explain to me everything she was going to do, and the positions my body needed to be in for a perfect application. She was also a pleasure to talk to while in the booth and made me feel very comfortable. My tan ended up lasting 2 full weeks and I look perfectly golden in my engagement photos.
