Cuckoo's is owned by It's Playtime and is open more or less the same hours they are (roughly from 9-5). Because the cart sometimes goes off premises to an event, it's worth your while to call before you scoot over. Cups of shaved ice are sold in 2 sizes for $4 or $5. There had a ton of flavors including Blue Vanilla, Grape, Lime, Mango, Cherry,Tigers Blood, Pickled Mango, Lemon, Blue Raspberry, Banana, Sour Apple, Blueberry, Cotton Candy, Pina Colada, Cola, Pink Lemonade, Guava Passion Fruit,Li Hing Mango, Strawberry, Passion Orange Guava, Blue Bubblegum, and Cake Batter. You can trick out your shaved ice with a Snow Cap (for an extra creamy sweet texture), or Fairy Dust (glitter), or candies for half a buck or so more. No review of Cuckoo's would be complete without a glowing report on the young lady running the stand. We went on Saturday for dinner, there were a group of about 15 to 20 and then my family. I was glad we were able to get a table for 4! The service was great! Food came out fast too. My kids had the chicken katsu with fries which they enjoyed. My husband had the sashimi platter and Philly roll, which he said was fresh and tasty. I ordered 3 sushi rolls: Dragon Roll- it had crispy tempura shrimp, avocado wrapped in sushi rice and nori seaweed; it was topped with eel sauce and sesame seeds. I had originally requested 2-liter bottles of soda, but since they didn't have them in stock, they proactively delivered individual cans instead to ensure our team had plenty of drinks. Now, for the food--it was phenomenal. Our office hasn't stopped raving about it! The Coconut Shrimp and Grilled Shrimp were huge hits, and the Angus Steak was incredibly tender. Even the Chicken Fried Rice was a standout, and all of their signature sauces were delicious. They also did a large house salad for us with the most incredible Ginger dressing. I had numerous people ask me where I found them, and I couldn't wait to order for their next small house parties or to pick up dinner on the way home. It was all so fresh and not greasy. We also ordered spring rolls that were so light and crispy, pineapple fried rice that was really delicious, and marinated chicken and steamed broccoli.
