You can't find Pani Puri everywhere so it was a nice surprise finding it here. All the ingredients were fresh and made to order. My favorite dish of the night was definitely the Dahi Puri. Fun fact: the difference between the Dahi Puri and the Pani Puri is that the Dahi Puri has yogurt. The spice level was perfect. The dishes had just enough heat without being overwhelming. Fast service given that it was the night before Diwali.

Sukhadia's is such a gem if you're craving classic Indian comfort food. We ordered a little bit of everything -- the regular thali, dahi puri, samosa chaat, rabdi, jalebi, and chole bhature -- and loved it all. The dahi puri was hands-down my favorite: perfectly crisp, tangy, and refreshing. The chole bhature was also a standout -- fluffy bhature with flavorful chole that hit the spot. For dessert, the rabdi and jalebi were rich, sweet, and exactly the kind of indulgence you want at the end of a meal. What made the experience even better was the service. The staff were really kind and even went out of their way to cater to my friend's allergies, which we appreciated so much. Between the variety, the flavors, and the thoughtful service, Sukhadia's definitely earns a spot on my repeat list.

Food: 8/10 This was my first time trying Indian food (besides butter chicken and lamb biryanis) and let me just say I really enjoyed trying the thin, airy bread, puri! I loved dipping it into the choke, which was a hearty chickpea dish with a bit of a kick to it. The samosa seemed to have vegetables and potatoes in it, and when I dipped it into the green sauce it was a bit spicy. The mango lassi was $4.50 and the combination of the sour yogurt flavor with the sweet mango blended so well in this drink. Service: 10/10 Family owned business! Very friendly, and food for our group of 14 took 5-10 minutes to arrive. Ambiance: 7/10 The bathrooms and tables were clean, but it's a very homey restaurant.

-1 star Ambiance- very basic Crowd-very crowded and loud. Food- below average. Didn't meet my standards at all. Do not eat Aloo tikki with chole It had just 2 big chunks of aloo/ potato with no spices, and nothing was mashed. Even a naive cook in india would know how to make the mix for aloo tikki. Chole were bad and stale Papdi chaat- was yuck Chai- was OK I went to this place pre-Covid and used to love it But i would never step foot again here Went

I would give them only 1 star not because of their service or anything but the food quality was super bad. They are in business just because they have name in market. At least what i tried today was not even close what a non professional cook can make. It was far worse than what you can make watching youtube. We ordered Papdi chat and aloo tikke with chole. Aloo tikki chole was like as if you boiled 2 potatoes and fried them in Oil and served. There was no flavor in the Tikki, chole were pathetic. Damm it who puts capsicum in chole. The chai and Coffee were very good. But in regards to snacks, its one of the pathetic place to be. Restrooms - they have gender specific restrooms and the hand dryer (at least in mens restroom) was working in a way as if a small baby is blowing air. I went to this place after years and guess what, i am not going back to this place again unless someone really tells me very very good things about this place.

We ordered Dahi Puri and Kachori Chaat. Both the items were substandard, bland and uneatable. Their service was fast taking into the fact that there were no other customers when we arrived here. Though they had no customers, they didn't take a bit care about neither the quantity nor the quality of the food they served. The puris they served for Dahi Puri were more of the size of papri. And yes as a cherry on the top, no one was wearing a mask, neither the one who took the order nor the ones who prepared our food. I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant or at least avoid ordering these two items in their menu.

Visiting this place every time reminds me of India. We usually go here when we feel like eating Vada Pav or Chole Bhature. These are the two items that I really enjoy at Sukhadia. Ordered a Rava Onion Masala Dosa this time and it was not a good experience. The dosa was very soft and it just didn't taste anywhere close to what an authentic rava onion masala dosa would taste like. The Special Thali was. Only 2 of the items (Palak Paneer, Kadi) in the Thali tasted good so it was not worth it.

This place has an impressive amount of chaat, snacks, sweet and entree options. The place is also very spacious to sit and enjoy a meal. I was super interested to get the khaman (dhokla). The owner asked me to come back after 30 mins as they had run out of it and they were still making more. I visited other nearby stores and came back after 45 mins and they took my order and I paid for it. But, they came back and let me know that they were not ready yet. They did not offer any refund - but asked me to pick another option. I ended up buying vada pav. The vada pav was well packed and was well made. I'd say the spice level was mild. Overall, I feel that customer service could be improved. The quality of food is good.

Delicious, very authentic indian food! Would definitely recommend the chole batura (not pictured) and the samosa chaat. It's some of the best I've ever had and will be visiting here again asap :)

There was a line but fortunately the wait wasn't long and I saw a table open up just after I ordered. Food arrived quickly. I got the mango snowcloud and it was huge! It's definitely around a 2 or 3 people's serving size. Lushious cubes of ripe mangos sprinkled with mango popping boba surrounded the mountain of soft, pillowy, creamy, mango milk ice, which was topped with mango ice cream, further drizzled with mango sauce. It was decadent and refreshing, so tasty yet not overwhelmingly sweet. The flavors were so good!!! Highly recommend this and would be back to try other items on their menu.

We walked into a casual and modern space that works well for stopping by after a meal or meeting up with friends for something sweet. The interior is bright and clean, with a relaxed energy that makes it easy to settle in for a dessert without feeling rushed. The menu has a wide range of options, from shaved ice and mango sago to cakes and other fruit desserts, making it easy to find something depending on your mood. The mango mille crepe cake is one of the highlights and a great representation of what the shop does well. We ordered a slice and found the cake made with thin layers of crepe stacked together with cream and fresh mango, creating a texture that feels light while still being satisfying. The layers are soft and delicate, and the mango adds a bright fruitiness that keeps the dessert from feeling overly heavy or too sweet. The balance between the creamy layers and the fresh mango flavor made it feel more refreshing than a traditional cake, especially with the mango being ripe and fragrant. It was also one of the better choices for sharing, as the slice was generous enough to pass around the table. Beyond the mille crepe cake, the menu has plenty of variety with options like mango shaved ice, mango sticky rice, and fruit-based drinks. We appreciated that the desserts are presented carefully, making the experience feel more like a sit-down dessert stop rather than just grabbing something quick. The shaved ice was light and fluffy, with a good amount of mango and toppings that added texture without overwhelming the base. The fruit-based drinks were also refreshing and served as a nice palate cleanser between the richer desserts. The shop can get busy, especially after dinner hours, but the line usually moves along at a steady pace. The staff handled the flow efficiently, and the turnover was fast enough that even with a small wait, we were seated quickly. The seating area is comfortable, and the energy of the room stays lively without becoming too loud. Mango Mango Dessert is a solid Chinatown dessert destination if you are looking for fruit-forward sweets with a lighter, refreshing style. The mango mille crepe cake is a must-try for first visits and one of the items that best captures the appeal of the menu, offering a dessert that feels both visually appealing and satisfying to eat.

I wish I was able to travel with one of their cheesecakes but they require refrigeration. Anyhow the cheesecake itself was delicious super light, fluffy, and honestly felt like biting into a cloud. I had the salted egg but they had several flavor options that I would've loved to try if slices were available. The texture is what really stands out, and the flavor was unique and interesting in a good way. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it taste like, but it was sweet, but not too sweet They only sale but I consider a personal size but it's definitely enough to share with two people, maybe even three depending on how much of a sweet tooth you have. My only downside like others is the price. Paying around $19-$20 for a small cheesecake felt a bit steep, especially since they don't offer slices. I really wish they had smaller portions available so you could try different flavors without committing to a full cake prize. They package it very well and they also serve you a cute little fork set and a knife for cutting which I think is contributes to the price. The shop itself is very cute with chic décor and a lot of Asian-inspired artwork, which adds to the overall vibe. Customer service was friendly. When I visit Chicago again I'd definitely go back the texture and taste alone make it worth it but I do hope they consider offering smaller portions in the future.
