We ordered sukothai padthai medium heat, crispy pork fried rice spicy, chicken basil Thai spicy. Chicken satay as appetizer. True to what they posted in the wall, their dishes are spicy. The medium is comfortable for me, I like the fact that it has a little bite, I didn't expect to taste belachan in pad Thai but it was pretty good. Fried rice is a little notched in heat but pretty delicious. The chicken basil is even hotter. So, they are not kidding about spiciness level. We haven't tried sukothai spicy level yet, it will be for another visit. Satay is neutral. Very happy with the service and the place is very comfortable. We ordered takeout yesterday and it was amazing! We got the Pad Thai with Chicken, Sesame Chicken and Pork Belly Fried Rice. Every dish was well seasoned and had the perfect level of spice. We especially enjoyed being able to order the Sesame Chicken -Hot-; the chicken was either all or mostly white meat and it was chopped into perfect bite size pieces. It's been a few years since I had been back to San Antonio and wanted to try another location of my favorite Thai place. I doubt it matters which location of sukhothai you go to, the food is excellent. The service is decent for a quick bite. Inside plenty of seating, a lot of to go orders in this location. I visited this restaurant for dinner with my partner. I liked the idea of having a good Thai place close by. The parking is semi limited as it is shared with a gas station. We dined in and noticed that it is quite warm, which didn't bother me but did bother my partner. He ordered curry and I ordered pad woonsen with tofu. We also had our very first bowl of tom yum soup (insanely delicious). My pad woonsen wasn't as good as other restaurants but I am motivated to come by for other plates. It is kind of expensive, especially considering the hole in the wall aesthetic, but it can be forgiven. My partner rated it a 4/5, I would consider it a 3.5/5. We will likely be back but I do not think this is "our" new Thai place. read more

This was my first time trying Thai food and it was immaculate. It's a small but very, very mighty restaurant. The service was amazing as well-- our server checked on us often and always with a smile, took a group photo of us after she saw me taking a photo of the food, and also boxed our leftovers up for us. I always am a huge supporter of a small business. There are two things which annoy me a lot. Charging customers a fee for using credit card. They have a sticky note posted for it. To save some cents you would be losing customers. Secondly inadequate portion sizes. Green curry was served with decent portion for the curry and inadequate rice portion. The spiciness goes from 1 to 4. We ordered 3 and it was spicy enough for us to complete food with bubble tea. When we walked in the place had an unpleasant smell and got down after a while. They have a few tables and a decent seating area. Some of staff members were friendly. Had to ask few times for cutlery and plates. Nothing stood out from what we tried apart from the green curry which was nice. The appetizers and the fried rice were ok..ok nothing to be amazed about. read more

I was in the mood for some Thai food and I noticed this delicious looking restaurant on here and decided to give it a try! It was my first time ever coming here so I looked at the website and wrote down my order in advance so I was prepared to take it to go. When I gave my written order to the employee she was very sweet and offered me a fresh water while I wait since it was insanely hot outside! When I finally got the chance to try the food I was so amazed at how delightful the food was! I got the Massaman Curry & Beef Noodle Soup, both did not disappoint! I was so happy at how big the portions were cause I was so hungry and they definitely satisfied my needs! I would definitely come here again to try out more of the intriguing food items they offer. I was able to place my order through their website and was there within 10 minutes. I recommend placing the order to go as the dining area is quite small with only a couple of tables. My food was already packed and ready to go so the service was fast and the cashier was friendly. I decided to try their Panang Curry with chicken, spice level hot. I also got a vegetable roll and steamed rice. The curry was sensational with the right amount of heat! The vegetable roll was a little small but still was a nice accompaniment to the curry. I really liked that my meal was less expensive compared to what I use to pay at Spicy Ginger but the quality was on par (if not better).
