Nestled in a small shopping center this place is good for groups less than 5. Family owned restaurant with fresh thai favorites. My yum nuea (beef salad) was cooked to perfection and was able to be order mild. Staff were friendly and didn't rush us. Green curry was very tasty but be prepared to sweat alittle with mild. Would visit again as tables and area very clean

Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday. Small place that looks like they do a big take out service. Just a few tables to eat at. Walked in and was seated at a dirty table but the guy at the front came with a rag and menus in his hand. The girl who waited on us was sitting at a table in pajama bottoms watching something on her iPad. I ordered the pad wosen and it was delicious. I ordered it hot and it delivered. The food was absolutely delicious. I had a glass of tea- the tea was stale. When I was done I walked up and asked to pay as well as ask if I could get a Togo container. I can absolutely appreciate that service might not be the main focus but if you have people sitting in your business you need to check on them. Everyone who worked there had ear buds in and not interested in customer service. The food is delicious so I will definitely do take out here.

Hallelujah we finally have a new Thai place to go to! Rice and Spicy has been our go-to for Thai food but now we have Sukhothai. I typically get pad Thai but the Pad Mama sounded like a nice change of pace. It didn't disappoint!

Small casual restaurant in a strip mall, but boy this place was non stop busy. A sign that this was def a place to be with good food to come. We sat ourselves and our server immediately greeted and gave us a menu. We noticed she was the only server at the front of the house taking orders, answering the phone, dealing with to go orders, payment, and running the food to the tables. She literally was running back and forth, but despite that, managed to check and take care of everyone with a smile and great attitude. We ordered the spring rolls, green curry chicken, and the pork pad Thai, all Hot spicy level. I love spicy heat and their hot was more than sufficient, I did not have to add any additional chili paste. I can't imagine what their Sukkothai hot (the most spiciest) level is lol Spring rolls- 6 tightly wrapped thin rolls and contained mostly chicken. Pretty good, came with sweet sauce for dipping. Pad Thai with pork- great flavor! Not too sweet, which I don't care for at most places. Heat level was perfect. The noodles were accompanied by thinly sliced sautéed pork, bean sprouts, and peanuts. Green curry with chicken- rich coconut broth , soooo good. It contained chicken, peas, eggplant, and bamboo shoots. Paired with the melt in your mouth white rice, this dish was perfect on a cold December night. We were happily and thoroughly full. Great service and food! We can't wait for the new Sukkothai to open near us on Potranco in January.

    Pad Thai

Wow, I love pad Thai and was excited to eat food from this restaurant. I ordered the pad Thai to go, and it was so salty... it was inedible. I had to throw away the whole dish. I've never had this issue before at a Thai restaurant.

Really good Thai restaurant on Alamo ranch pkwy. I let yelp and all the reviews guide me to this one. I went for lunch and it remained empty although there were a few pickup orders that came and went. I was immediately greeted and my order taken. I ordered the chicken wing appetizer and a combo fried rice. Really tasty wings. They had a nice flavor cooked into them even without the sauce. The combo rice was also very good. Too many vegetables for me, I pulled a lot of them out, but it was also decently filled with meats. I always wish they would pull the tail off the shrimp before serving it but that's a small thing of mine. It was all very good. The sweet tea was also on point. I'll definitely return.

Crab fried rice enough for 2-3 people. Yum.

Probably the best Thai food in this area! Their Red Curry is always perfect. Be sure to try out their crispy pork fried rice.

I don't think it's truly authentic Chinese food, but an in between little diner with great and attentive service, reasonable prices and a lot on their menu. What we ordered came out super quickly and all the dishes were very good. We got egg drop soup (delicious), one stir fried seafood dish (shrimp and scallop- so good!), shrimp fried rice (great), the General Tso's beef (my husband loved this!), chicken lo mein. Generous portions for all dishes. I am sure this place is great for to go also because they must have had 25 to go orders in the 45 minutes we were there to eat.

It was coated with flour like fried chicken instead of corn starch which it should be Couldn't taste the black bean sauce although the sauce was strong Sweet and sour soup was full of good items but so much pepper it made me cough Soups are in tiny cups they call small bowls White rice is good and sticky Shrimp with lobster sauce is nothing like it should be, mostly corn and tasteless, I mean tasteless like water Not the usual recipe others serve. The beef rice noodles were like I would make from a reg pan at home without, again, taste. They need that wok taste but it's not there So disappointed, not cheap either , easily $18 a plate Place was clean and looked decent but what good is that if the food is lousy?

We noticed the decor had changed (yes, I said it had been many years) and it was quite nice! We were seated promptly and placed our drink order (tea came with lunch). We ordered Rangoon as a starter. The lunch specials came with soup and egg roll, and fried rice. DH ordered his litmus test dish for American style Chinese- General Tso chicken. The portion was generous. The sauce was tasty. The chicken pieces tasted like your average frozen nuggets tossed in sauce. It's that familiar "seasoning" to the chicken and coating- iykyk. Not bad at all, just not the best. He enjoyed his egg drop soup. I opted for Hunan Beef. The sauce was thicker than I prefer, with an almost gelatinous consistency. The hot and sour soup was nice, a little more sour than hot. We both thought the fried rice that came with lunch was a little bland. Maybe the entree version is better? Each special was under $10, and it's definitely a great value.
