My husband ordered the shrimp fried rice level Hot and it was extremely hot and he loves spicy. So be warned they don't play around with their spice levels. Staff was super attentive and very nice. I think this is the best thai food I've had in San Antonio. While the location is small and quaint there are tables to sit and eat and the servers are very attentive. I had the fried gyoza and the pineapple fried rice and both were phenomenal. Jam packed with flavor this is why it is my favorite thai place. Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday. Small place that looks like they do a big take out service. Just a few tables to eat at. Walked in and was seated at a dirty table but the guy at the front came with a rag and menus in his hand. The girl who waited on us was sitting at a table in pajama bottoms watching something on her iPad. I ordered the pad wosen and it was delicious. I ordered it hot and it delivered. The food was absolutely delicious. I had a glass of tea- the tea was stale. When I was done I walked up and asked to pay as well as ask if I could get a Togo container. I can absolutely appreciate that service might not be the main focus but if you have people sitting in your business you need to check on them. Small casual restaurant in a strip mall, but boy this place was non stop busy. A sign that this was def a place to be with good food to come. Pad Thai with pork- great flavor! Not too sweet, which I don't care for at most places. Heat level was perfect. The noodles were accompanied by thinly sliced sautéed pork, bean sprouts, and peanuts. Green curry with chicken- rich coconut broth , soooo good. It contained chicken, peas, eggplant, and bamboo shoots. Paired with the melt in your mouth white rice, this dish was perfect on a cold December night. We were happily and thoroughly full. Great service and food! I went for lunch and it remained empty although there were a few pickup orders that came and went. I was immediately greeted and my order taken. I ordered the chicken wing appetizer and a combo fried rice. Really tasty wings. They had a nice flavor cooked into them even without the sauce. The combo rice was also very good. Too many vegetables for me, I pulled a lot of them out, but it was also decently filled with meats. We usually visit the original location and really enjoy it, so we were excited to try this one. Unfortunately, the experience didn't match what we're used to. The pad thai had a slightly burnt taste with less flavor, and the chicken satay portions were much smaller and not as seasoned as at the main location. They then asked to text a picture to prove there was no shrimp like i've worked in restaurants for many years and have never had any of my managers ask for a picture if someone said an order was wrong. The flavor of the lo mein was so good I had to stop myself from getting more. The only things I would say was that there were a few pieces of chicken in both the orange & sesame chicken that were pretty tough. Other than that, it tasted good! Nothing crazy amazing or different, but what you would expect to taste from this classic-to-san-Antonio Chinese dish. The side of fried rice was plain, it kind of tasted just like soy sauce with rice. Not bad, I'd just likely stick with steamed rice next time. Also, the lo mein was very good, but I was kind of shocked while eating to note that the chicken was incredibly dry. I don't think I've honestly ever had chicken that dry in lo mein ever and that's a lot of different places that I've tried it at. I wanted to try a New thai place in the Alamo Ranch area. I went after work , small place not a lot of sitting area for inside dinning. Order was red curry/chicken/spicy, one small fried rice and order ir chicken satay. Review: the curry had minimal amount of chicken, lots and lots of eggplant not spicy at all. The fried rice tasted burnt (like who can mess up fried rice????) so did the chicken satay burnt taste overcooked dry as the Sahara dessert. Will not return. Waste if my $$$$$ read more
