My wife and I stopped in here after spending the day in the Grand Canyon. I wouldn't classify this as a "dive bar". It just isn't a high class snob wine bar. They have a fine selection of beers on tap. It is a good people watching hangout. There were folks there from all over the world having drinks. The next night we walked past and there was a live band. Lots of stuffed animals including a huge rattlesnake skin on the wall behind the bar. It is a fun place to have a drink. read more

This restaurant is a very family-friendly and fun place. There's a guy with a guitar on a mic on the corner of the place and most of the restaurant is outdoors which is kind of nice. The food is pretty average... My chicken wings were a little mushy and soft with a lot of sauce. Overall the place is pretty nice and has a cool vibe. One of the things that I wish the owner would've thought of is putting a damn stall in the men's bathroom so that way people don't have to go to CIRCLE K to use theirs. read more

Great selection, yummy drinks, great services and outstanding food! Lucy's too & Danny's sea food are available at the bar. We stopped for a beer planning to head to another place for dinner but after trying the unbelievably delicious fresh creamy beer battered cheese curds, we decided to eat dinner here. BEST decision! The fish and chips were fantastic! Huge planks of light flakey fresh cod with crisp tasty coating served with excellent coleslaw, exceptional hush puppies and fresh cut fries. We also had the bad ass burger which was cooked perfectly, thick & juicy and came on buttery grilled bun and was topped with chunks of pastrami and excellent spicy horsey sauce. The fresh house made chips are perfect. It's a big menu - will be back for sure! read more

I stopped off in here for a brief visit with my dad as he wanted to see the oldest bar in Arizona. It was an off time, with only two locals inside drinking, and a friendly bartender. Love the old roof (at over 100 years old, this bar has kept up well). Big space, good atmosphere and cool bar, with a lot of hard liquor selections and some beers on tap and on bottle. I didn't check everything out but it was nice to have a cold one and chat with the locals about sports and the community. Rude bartender, overpriced drinks and plain old dump. The bathrooms were in disrepair. To close stall push divider and close other door and lock. Drinks were overpriced garbage, and the bartender wanted to charge to fix the drink. Prices were listed on a black board and over charged each drink by $1.50. For a bar that caters to tourists they sure do a lousy job at pissing off customers. Reviews are falsified to make this bar look good. read more

If you're ever passing through, or staying in, Williams, Arizona, do NOT pass this bar without stopping in for a drink! VERY friendly place with great drink prices and service. Just your really awesomely classic dive bar, which is definitely where I feel more comfortable. I loved all the "stuff" hanging on the walls; the old posters, the animal heads, just everything. And a pool table!! The bartender even handed me a $10 to go play some more music on the jukebox. I'm pretty sure we'll be hitting up Williams again and we will most definitely be stopping in here again. read more

Fun 100 year old bar. My friends and I were in town for a night before going to the Grand Canyon. It was in January and the entire town was quiet. This place had real local feel - mainly as its full of locals. That said tourists do visit and are always welcome and usually have a good time. Us local types can be pretty friendly folks! This is a real bar some may call it a 'dive' bar but to me its just a bar it has a good atmosphere and serves good beer. Located in Williams (the gateway to the Grand Canyon) this place serves beer from the Grand Canyon bewery, got some nice ambers and pales on offer. The place has pool tables and a juke box with a good selection. The night we were in we took over the juke box and played just about every bluegrass tune on it. Theres a BBQ joint next door whivh serves good burgers and ribs. I grew up in Seligman not far away and this place used to be a regular haunt back in the day. All in all if your in Williams and your looking for a friendly locals joint then this is it. If you're an international visitor and looking for a 'real American' bar then this place won't disappoint. Night we were in there we were drinking with a couple from the UK they looked terrified on entry but soon relaxed and had a great night! read more

100 year old bar with a little BBQ joint bolted onto the side (which serves you at the bar). The late night crowd here is fun (mostly locals). This is a real dive with pool tables, a jukebox, and quirky local characters. Met some friendly German bikers and partied with them here and at the Canyon Club down the street - good times. read more

A mysterious place, who's mystery is only exceeded by it's power. I, a conductor of ceremonies, like the bell boy in Four Rooms (also a quentin tarrantino) toby wong... was the witness to it's unlimited Jukebox potential. With such a diverse crowd I had stumbled on an audio kaleidoscope. Each putting in there dollar. Playing their favorites and swinging their sticks into the shadowy isles beneath the bright chrome and green tops of the glass lit billiard tables. The balls bright and shiny clinking in unison with the pint glasses in one of those Hi-tone places. The large windows seem to rinse with the cracked pavement far below. We were all pirates on a ship headed for midnight. My moustache, a gyro horizon indicator for the perfect time to raise a glass and listen to the words of another new name. A name were I to know, I would know, would I trade all pool victories past and present. Here's to you, bold traveler. Here's to you, sweet foreigner. Went there twice this past weekend, stayed at a hotel down the street. The first night we went it was pretty cool, I bought 22 oz beers for a decent price, but the second night it was a different server who charged me more than double for the same exact beers. The first night it looked as if the owner and another young lady was tending bar and they both gave me the same decent price. The second night, those two weren't there and instead it was a blue haired lady who was throwing bottles around and over charging my friends and I. We met some locals and asked them how much they paid for their drinks and the price they named was half the price we paid. read more

Classic dive bar, literally a hundred yrs old, embossed tin ceiling, eclectic and interesting decor, pool tables, friendly locals, friendly bartender, the whole ball of wax. The only thing out of place was the flat screen tvs. Loved it. Anyplace with the painting "Cowboy Dreams" has won me over. Don't miss it, certainly worthy of 5 stars! read more

Please dear international friends look first at this review before even considering going to this bar In a nutshell, this place is held by some racists (Trump effect welcome). We went to this bar with a couple of international friends visiting the Grand Canyon area. We're European but I do live in the US with a work visa and a driving license. When we nicely asked for beers, the rudest barman I've ever met started to look at us very suspiciously given our accent. He then asked for our IDs. Despite the fact that we are 30+ years old, that's fine we're in the US and we understand the rules. So we started to show our ids. I showed my Californian driving licence and the barman looked at it with again a very suspicious look ("how come an international holds a Californian driving licence"). Then my friends started to show their national IDs to the barman who immediately stated : "this does not work in the US, they can't drink"...I lived in this US for about a year and it is truly the first time I heard that. Obviously the guy was just wanted us out. He then stated : "if you're not happy with that you can just get out"...well my dear racist friend I was actually really happy to "get out" of your establishment. Please international and American friends avoid this place by all means. Peace ! read more

This place seemed to be the local hang out. I was alone and thirsty so I stopped in. The atmosphere was fun. The bar tender Brent seemed to have the ship sailing well and was very nice and informative about local history. I would have been back on my second night but the Grand Canyon punched me out early as I was all tuckered out and did not have a round 2 in me. read more

apparently the bar attached is the oldest in arizona. it opened in 1906. we showed up around 7:00 to play some pool and have a few beers. the bartender was nice, and so were the customers. around 8 the younger crowd started showing up. i will definitely go back. i felt very welcome. read more

Reading the other reviews must have been a bad bartender, she didn't know how to mix some drinks and when I told her how the locals all had something to say, we went to eat after our visit and bought alcohol else where....the other locals said they are kinda like that towards strangers. I'm sorry but this town needs visitor revenue to survive, maybe the bartender does like "outsiders" as we were labeled. Will stay elsewhere to get unbiased service. read more
