Then when my stylist was putting the foils halfway down my hair I reminded her I did not want a balayage and wanted more natural lighter highlights just around my face. She explained what she was doing would create natural highlights throughout. I figured she's supposedly the expert. Sure enough when she removed the foils I had a balayage. Then when she tried to fix it, she made it worse as I now have striped copper lines in my hair. Not light brown, like I asked, they're copper!! Literal stripes down my head, it's quite embarrassing and I wore a hat for the rest of the day. And I'll have to continue to cover my hair until I can get it fixed elsewhere. They look worse in person than in the photos too.
