I asked him to please replace it for me. I could tell he wasn't very keen on that idea so he came out (with attitude) and 1/2 heartedly pretended to open the area to replace the bulb. I could tell he just didn't want to do it. He said "yeah i can't do it" I asked if somebody else in the store could help me and he said no. I went across the street to AutoZone and asked one of the employees there if it was difficult to change the lightbulb out, an employee there said no it should take about 30 seconds. I told him I wanted to bring back the bulb to O'Reilly and buy one from him. He proceeded to let me know that they were out of stock for my car. he offered to replace the one from O'Reilly's for me!!!!!! He literally popped the area opened and replaced it in 30 seconds. I called O'Reilly's corporate office and I am hoping they took action.

[Encounter #1:] Had a loud rattle a couple of years ago that suddenly started and occurred thereafter driving over bumps & potholes, and assumed that something in the exhaust system had come loose. Bill took it for a test drive and did a full inspection, but was unable to find any issue with the exhaust system (turns out it was a brake shoe backing plate that had rusted out and come loose). As another reviewer had experienced, I insisted on paying Bill for his time -- but he refused any payment. [Encounter #2:] Ignored catalytic converter diagnostic codes until old Prius with lots of miles (nearly 300,000) was unable to climb hills or go faster than 35 MPH (owing to that converter becoming clogged and exhaust backing up causing loud valve noises). Anyway, Bill quoted me a price which I was thrilled with -- and when I arrived later to pick up the car (a little wait as he's so popular & busy), he said that the actual price was around $200 less as the labor turned out to be less than usual owing to the ability on my car to access & replace two components at once -- instead of the time often required to access both components separately & independently. Her friend Cameron works at U-pick-it in Prescott Valley so we drove way out there from Chino Valley (on 89A to Fain road to Sara Jane lane) to the "junk" yard. Cameron told us he had a nice Toyota but they just got a 2006 Subaru Outback in that morning that might be affordable. I drive a 2018 Subaru Outback and am a Subaru super-fan. So, show us this gem of a car. OMG. Perfect body with not a dent on it. 6 cylinder AWD. Interior reeked of cigarette and other funny smoke but the interior was well loved but will be cleaned up and deodorized prior to our purchase. Tires had mileage on them but were still sfae considering it only had 158,000 miles on it. We knew Cameron would not let her buy a lemon besides, they had no lemon's there anyway so we jumped on it. With her hard earned and preciously saved $1100 and my contribution of the rest of the cost, she got that 2006 Subaru Outback for $2500. Subaru's tend to get healthier the older they are so both of us expressed our joy and adulation to the U-Pick-it crew Cameron and Alex for this literal gift from heaven. This might have been what you were you referring to in regards to your normal two step process that eventually became, the master mechanic was looking at the process the entire time. Normally, The two step process is as follows: Hand tightened lug nuts in a crisscross start shaped pattern. That seats the wheel evenly! that never happened. Then the torque at specs. You know as well as I do the mechanic never set the wheel properly. This idea of the experience mechanic watching does not make any sense. If he was watching, and he was not, that has no impact of physically putting the wheel back on! You write well an must have been a very good story teller in school. I give you an A for that story! You know as well as I do, that I did not travel over 5 thousand miles in one month. That would have been one long trip. So whoever logged those miles might be the same person who set the pressure on the torque! Not so good with math!!! Sir, I don't appreciate being called a liar!! The tow truck driver, who was supposed to tow the vehicle never did. I told you that was were the vehicle was going not was there. Where you made up me telling you was locked in a yard-- not!! The tow truck driver never showed up because he claims the truck he sent had to flat tires in the back. Action Auto was the main place I took my truck in 7 years, and you never told me to change the old bolts, so if you had a concern you should have told me. Specifically during the last time you did the job on my tire in May 2026. You make absolutely no sense! Additionally, you told me anytime you change or replace wheels it is a two step process. You told me you torque and then wrench it. Then you told me after I question the process on the video that the 2nd step was the Eric was standing right there the entire time. He did even look the direction of the mechanic the entire time. I don't want to go back and forth with you, but I will say your really lacked professionalism. If I was an owner of a shop and there was any possibility that my shop was the last shop to remove an replace a tire, and that wheel came off. I would have offered more than warrantied parts. However, you don't need to worry about me i am out- I really don't think you cared at all about me! The manner in which the vehicle wheel was put back on is in question! Plus your two step process you claimed was not done. Unless the Veteran mechanic looking away from the work an' a virtually set the wheel. He's good and I like him but he is not that good.
